Jackson Hole is an upscale winter sports resort lying alongside the Teton mountain range in western Wyoming, not far from Yellowstone National Park. The region of Jackson Hole is in its own national park, the Grand Teton NP. The local town is Jackson. The Snake River is also a popular draw.

The average July temperatures are hot at 88ºF but ideal for enjoying the delights of the national park. Also in the summer is the Teton County Fair.
How to get to Jackson HoleJackson Hole Airport (JAC) is located seven miles north of Jackson. Rather than there being an abundance of typical airport hotels most accommodation is closer to the resort. Otherwise there is a bus service and many visitors choose to drive themselves.
