"Perfect couple of days in Trapani"
Reviewed by a Hotels.com guest on Nov 12, 2012
We arrived in Trapani around midnight, so I was a bit worried about the hotel's opening hours. To my surprise, the hotel had a decent reception area where the manager was waiting for us. Smooth, quick check-in. The hotel is actually quite big - it's formed as a big building with an inner courtyard, where the breakfast is served in the morning. Our room, which actually was a cozy apartment, was much more than we expected - entrance, kitchenette and dining area, nice bathroom and a big bedroom with an extremely soft bed. Breakfast was average, but again, better than expected for the price. Croissants, toasts, cheese and ham was pretty much it, but one thing stands out - great espresso from the coffee machine! Don't you hate it when hotels, with all their expensive machinery, serve awful instant coffee to you? No, here you had a bartender prepairing cappucinos and espressos to everyone interested, for free! The location of the hotel is absolutely perfect - you're just a few minutes from the main street of Trapani, where there is life and music around the clock in the weekends, but at the same time you have no disturbing noises that could interrupt your beauty sleep. No internet in the room was a downer, but it works perfectly in the lobby. Overall a very pleasant experience, and the free ride we got to the airport after check-out was enough to ensure the manager that we would stay there again on our next visit.
