The airport receives flights from all over the world, including nonstop services form the UK. Many of the larger hotels, as well as some private companies, will provide airport shuttles direct to the resort. Car hire is also available at the airport, and is a good option for exploring the island. Taxi services are convenient and relatively inexpensive. The journey to Port Louis takes 40 minutes, and it’s about an hour to Grand Bay.
