This is a very clean hotel complex close to all things Disney and Universal. Our room was large and comfortable. The only downside was the $15 a night car parking charge.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Customer Service Could Be Better"
The hotel itself was ok. We had previously stayed at this hotel twice before being taken over. Unfortunately the take over has sacrificed on previous great customer service and looked into the more materialistic options. We had informed the front desk we where celebrating our honeymoon and hardly a pleasing smile or acknowledgement. We had made the […] hotel aware of this prior to our arrival and there was no added extras provided, even a complimentary bottle of water. Many guests had been placed in the Tower block due to low occupancy and we had been made aware of this. The hotel could have added to the service by making us feel special by saying something like, Congratulations on celebrating your Honeymoon, to welcome you we have decided to upgrade you to our tower block." To try and make us feel special. We have stayed at this hotel twice before. There has been $35 million upgrade but from when we last stayed 5 years ago there was not much that had been changed since 2008. Very disappointed. We had not celebrated anything previously when we stayed and we had been welcomed with a range of cookies and biscuits and also a complimentary spa treatment. Amazing, is what I would have said. Very much disappointed this time around. Breakfast and dinner is slightly expensive if you want that special dinner. Cocktails very over priced and therefore would recommend eating and celebrating on the I-drive. Nice place just across the road Delmonicos Italian Steak House. 5 star Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Don't Even Think Of Anywhere Else!"
Stayed for 2 weeks in April 2013 for the theme parks. Walking distance to Seaworld & Aquatica (15 minutes from our room to the gates of Seaworld). Shuttles to all other theme parks go from the hotel. Hotel itself is set in large grounds with plenty to do on "rest" days. It is popular with business people, conferences, and tourists. We stayed in the […] Tower and did not have a minutes bother from other guests. Never heard any noise during any night and all the family said the beds were very comfortable - we got a good nights sleep every night and when you are having long days at the theme parks it is great to be well rested. Breakfast is very good but at 17 dollars per person is very expensive tempered by the fact that children eat free - the Village Inn across the road worked out about the same total cost for our family of 2 adults and 2 children (approx 8 dollars per person). Hotel doesn't really do evening meals (only snacks) so you will need to eat out every night. Staff are brilliant with nothing being too much trouble. On check in we were told they had no Tower rooms but offered to "upgrade" us to a resort room. I insisted we wanted a Tower room (it's what we'd booked and they cost more than resort rooms). After an hours discussion they "found" us a room in the Tower. For the inconvenience caused they gave us free parking, 6 free breakfasts, free fridge in room, 2 free drinks in bar - a total of nearly £200 in "compensation! Will definitely stay again when next in town. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Brace for charges but good place to stay"
Good hotel placed perfectly for International Drive attractions. Steep parking charge, steep breakfast charge and general feel of any chance they can charge you for something they will. However... I chose this hotel to be close to a conference at the nearby renaissance which was full. I was disappointed to find that my room was around the back of the large complex and was arranged in a motel style. Yes that meant a short walk from the car but my view was of a blank wall opposite of the hotels main tower and there was no direct sunlight. The room […] was a good size with microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Sadly there was no crockery or cutlery so these facilities were a waste of time! The location was generally quiet however noise from passing guests and the next door neighbours permeated the room and the old fashioned AC unit was very noisy. Its a great location for Seaworld as you can walk across in 5 minutes however the rest of i-drive is a drive or taxi ride away. "Nice Hotel at the bottom of International Drive."
Stayed here from 25/08 to 27/08/12 with my family. Our room was at the far back of the Hotel in a motel style block called Tropical Breeze. I paid for a view of the gardens. So be advised otherwise you could be looking out to the car park! Room was in excellent decor, Balinese stye and above all clean! Although the aircon was noisy and the bed not that […] comfatable! The hotel is situated close to Seaworld and does have a shuttle service there and to Universal. The only major fault with this hotel is the car park fee of $15 a day which is ridiculous if you are driving there to stay there! It should be included for guests! Fantastic sums it up really well, great room great staff, location was great. We booked a double and found out the beds are different sizes to ours here in England I asked could they move us, they not only moved us they gave us a king bed in a huge room in the tower with no extra cost, the only down side I guess is the cost of eating here compared with […] other places around to eat at, it's a little expensive at $17 fir breakfast compared to $4 down the road but other than that I will deffibatly go back again and would reccomemd it to anyone going to international drive area, IRide is right outside the hotel and also free buses to the theme parks with free quick que for sea world is great oh and don't forget the free cookies every day too, Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Convenient for Seaworld and Aquatica"
This hotel was very convenient as you could walk 10 minutes to seaworld and 15 minutes to aquatica. We stayed in the low rise rooms which are more motel than hotel in feel and fixtures. The rooms were adequate. The icemachines between blocks need to be fixed as they were always out of ice. The pool is great. Minigolf, pool table, ping pong are good […] for kids. The restaurant and breakfasts were fine although the menus are a little bland. Reasonable value for money. Check theme park prices before buying at hiltons ticket desk as i think we overpaid for multiple day tickets when with a little better advice we could have got single day tickets and saved some money- they must work on commission. "Ok but need a car"
Hotel is in a great spot away from the busy part of international drive. We did not go to Orlando for the parks just a bit of sunshine. The facilities int he hotel are okay but we found the staff a little unhelpful about local information, particularly local transport as we did not have a car and wanted to get local buses about (other than the trolley […] car buses) Queuing at the reception was quite long and the staff seemed to have the weight of the world in their shoulders and didnt smile much! There are a few restaurants across the road but you are a good 15 minutes on the trolley cars to get to the part of intrtnational drive to get to restaurants and even though the buses are great you can wait up to 20 minutes for oneand in the height of the midday can be quite warm. We feel that booking through Expedia we were given the last choice rooms on the back of the hotel, but saying that the rooms are a good size, withncoffee facilities and a given a room with a fridge and microwave. The room was dark but again assume. This is because of summer heat so they are meant to be like this? Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Bit dissappointed given it was a Hilton"
The Hotel overall was clean and pleasant. The staff in general were friendly. We found the recepetion could be slow, and they would sometimes deal with people not in order which could be frustrating. The rooms were cleaned regularly but the beds were not made properly and they would just cover them over and tuck them in. This was ok until you get into […] bed and find the sheets underneath not made up. We used one of the in-house restuarants one eve only to find two staff bickering about whether we should have to wait another 10 minutes or be allowed to come in. Overall I would have expected more for the money, but it was still a pleasant stay. I would chose a less expensive hotel next time as I felt this hotel was not up to the standard I expected. I would not recommend it as I did not feel it was value for money. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Best hotel on I-drive!"
We had a room by the main pool and we have no complaints at all. The room was very comfortable, modern and always kept clean. The pool was beautiful and clean, with a disney movie on a Saturday evening shown at the poolside. The staff were polite and friendly, always ready to help. The hotel's restuarant served amazing, reasonably-priced food and delivered […] to your room for a small charge. The I-trolly stops right outside the front of the hotel which runs the length of International Drive and if you left the hotel from a different entrance you could pick up a Lynx bus, which will take you into Disney. Take advantage of the complimentary quick queue passes for Seaworld as they get you right to the front of the queue for all the major rides! We loved this hotel and would DEFINITELY visit again! We stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks while we visited all the Disney and Universal parks as were extremely impressed by the comfort provided, especially considering the relatively low price. The first piece of advice I would give is to pay the extra few pounds and STAY IN THE TOWER. Other guests we met complained of noise, poor air conditioning and […] dated rooms. None of these problems apply to the tower as it is located slightly away from the pools and is only recently built I believe (last 5-8 years say). This made all the difference to our stay and meant we had a lovely cool and quiet room to come back to after long days out. The hotel is connected to disney by bus, both complimentary (2/3 per day) and public and also to universal by bus (plus 10min walk). Consider a weekly lynx ticket instead of the iride as the buses are much more frequent and the iride does not go to disney. Rooms are basic and yet very comfortable. Coffee and tea are complimentary but be careful to note that the water is not and you will be charged at the end of your trip. TV has maybe 15 english channels which provide a decent selection and alarm clock has an ipod dock. The hotel also provide towels at the pools so you do not need to bring them down with you. Internet access is free in the front lobby which is great and the helpdesk provides computers you can use. These are very slow however. The helpdesk itself is a great feature although we found some staff very unhelpful. Overall a great stay!!! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Be aware of unpublicized costs"
Hotel was fine, but I should have asked about certain things. I'm so used to free WiFi in better hotels, I didn't even consider a cost. When I returned home I had a $25 charge pending on my credit card, in addition to another one for $15 parking. (Even though all the signs say parking is $14) My real problem is that when the clerk gave me log in information, […] he did NOT mention there was a cost. And $25 is ridiculous. The initial rate I received in booking therefore was legitimately almost $40 more when all was said and done. Nice hotel, but make sure you know what you are getting in to. "Not what I was expecting"
Not worth the price I paid. I thought we were going to stay in a real hotel, but ended in one of those outdoor access motel rooms. Upon inspecting our room, we found hair on the pillows and short hair on the toilet seat. Tried calling room service or calling out with the in room phone and the phone doesn't even work! Wasn't able to call out, but then […] got two sketchy calls to me saying they have a birthday cake for me at the front desk from someone who barely spoke English so I didn't really understand. Driving around just to find our hotel building was a hassle, btw. Early morning we were woken up from loud people outside in the parking lot. We could hear everything going on outside. "not worth the money"
I stayed two nights, the cleaning lady never came by. hotel charges a 25 dollar per night "resort fee" isn't that what I'm paying for in the first place? they charged me 15 bucks per night to self park, all the spots anywhere remotely close to my room were taken. I had to park super far away and carry all my stuff upstairs as well, no elevator. the […] sink was clogged, took a few hour for it to drain out slowly. the lobby, bars and pool were nice and clean, the room was just one of those regular cheap one big room with a tiny bathroom, just has updated furniture. no free breakfast and the wifi is a pain to log into. it's a far walk to the convention center, maybe if your going to the north building I would say walk it, otherwise take a cab. I asked the valet guy if I should walk to the west building or cab it, he said it's not far at all, and said I should just walk it. took me 45 minutes to walk to the west building (F hall) I was all sweaty and exhausted when I got there. the second night I took a cab, which was nice not having to wait, they have a couple sitting on the ramp by the lobby. walls to next room were thin, the first night was fine but my second night, a family checked into the room next to mine with a screaming child. not only could I hear the kid screaming, but the adults conversations. I was a guests at this Hotel when I had to make this reservation through Hotels.com. I had been at thee Doubletree for a long weekend and woke up on check out day sick . I phoned the front desk after glancing at the rates online requesting to stay over in my room because I was to ill to drive home the 2.5 hrs. I was qiuted the walk in rate and asked […] for a manager that refused to talk to me on the phone said the rack rate would be $109 and if I cared to speak to her I would have to walk to the front desk! Grant it this is a 37 acre resort and I was about as far away from the front desk as one could get. I phoned HHonours to get them to maybe phone the front desk am have them negotiate with me and they could not even call their own hotel that I was laying in a bed at! hotels.com had rooms as low as $84 and my room for $93. So I politely booked the $84 room marched down to the front desk to check out and back into my new room. The nice young lady asked "Mr. King would you just like to stay in your same room for tonight?" She was unaware of the earlier conversations. Let's just say I have spoke to and emailed more Hilton employees than I ever care too. 99.99999% of the stay and staff was beyond great, as for dealing with the front desk staff which they narrowed down to might have been an April? I had a work conference which I brought my 3 year old son and husband along for. I did the same thing last year and was excited when I heard it would be there again. We really like how there are rooms outside of the main tower, in 2 or 3 story buildings, where you can easily get to your car etc. (You […] do have to pay for parking though) The breakfast buffet is great and there is a lot to do for a family. There are lots of things to do on the grounds, including mini golf, outdoor movie night, arts/crafts and of course, 3 pools (quiet pool, the main pool and the fun family pool). The boys could swim and play while I was working and I joined then afterward. It's convenient to lots of restaurants, shopping etc. We've made friends with people from the U.K. that we still stay in touch with from last year and this year we made some more. I'll start with the bad. The restroom is so small it takes special maneuvering to get in and close the door, and I'm a mere 5'10" 165lb. The vanity sink drained slower the a snail crossing a road.
