Sheraton Station Square Hotel - Піттсбург

The Sheraton Station Square is a mediocre hotel in a great location. If it wasn't for the location I would not recommend it.

I know it seems like a small complain, but the napkins by the coffee maker were clearly dirty, and clearly used by someone else, as were the drinking glasses. It just makes one wonder what else was glanced over and not cleaned very well. Beds were comfortable and the valet and bellhop staff were super cool.

This hotel is in major need of repairs, outdated and run down. Stains in carpets everywhere you look, wallpaper and curtains also have stains. Looks as if nothing has been done to this hotel since the early 80's. stayed 3 nights, had 4 people in our party, yet everyday they only gave us 3 bath towels. even after notifying the front desk the first day, they didn't give us the additional towel needed... parking is terrible, $20.00 a day even if your a hotel guest. if you plan to come and go you must get your ticket punched at the front desk... the bathroom didn't […] have an exhaust fan... overpriced, and not so good hotel breakfast, I recommend any of the other local places that serve breakfast, there are multiple in very short walking distance with cheaper/better food... this place is living on past reputation and location alone. Paper cups in rooms at higher than average per night rate.. Really? Bed linens smelled like smoke! I've had nicer towels at the YMCA. This place was gorgeous 20 years ago and apparently they've done nothing to it since. Never again!

I only stayed here for one night and I was more than pleased with the staff and location. I had my dog with me and they were great with her as well. The location is perfect for anyone who enjoys a good walk into the city and looks for a good time at night as there are bars just up the street. Hard Rock, Joe's Crab Shack, Le Mont, Monterey Bay Sea Grotto, Downtown Pittsburgh, Trolley, Incline, Etc.

Upon arrival 6/4/11 was informed the hotel was overbooked and they put us in another Sheraton property 20 miles north of downtown Pittsburgh! Totally dissatisfied since I made my reservation with hotels.com several months ago and never received notification the hotel was overbooked. I now have to wait for my refund from hotels.com since I was required […] to pay the full amount upon booking. Sheraton did not even compensate us by discounting the room rate at the other property, nor even give us a free breakfast the next day. I have used hotels.com in the past without any problems, I refuse to use your service in the future. I will book directly with the hotel and call them prior to my arrival to confirm the reservation. Extremely slow check-in. Did not seem to be prepared for 3pm checkin volume. Took 45 mins to checkin. Around 3am there was a loud commotion in the hallway. Sounded like a fight.

Rooms are dated. No drawers for clothing. Stains all over carpeting. Fingerprint smudges all up and down the bathroom door. Not nearly as nice as The Westin or Omni William Penn located in downtown.

Went for the weekend with some friends to see a Pirates game. Great hotel location, plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Took a nice river boat ride to the game. Hotel staff very friendly, especially John and Tony at the front door. Small issue with our shower was resolved quickly. Would go back.

Hotel was clean, but rooms could use some updating, especially the bathroom and carpeting.

Great location Convenient to attractions. Room/bathroom were dirty. Wallpaper falling off the walls. Carpet badly stained. NOISY room as you can hear adjacent rooms, music from neighboring restaurants and the train. Very expensive for what I'd rate as a 2 star sub-standard hotel.

The hotel is aesthetically pleasing and is located in a nice area within walking distance to downtown. I was in town for the Pittsburgh marathon and found it a convenient distance away from the starting line. The staff was friendly and helpful. My complaint […] is twofold: 1) The first room we were given smelled of cigarettes, even though it claims to be a nonsmoking hotel; 2) the walls were paper thin - we could distinctly hear the conversation of the people in the adjoining rooms, which was pretty annoying. Fortunately they did not awake me during the night, but if I was in town again and had to get a good night's sleep I would think twice before booking here. My wife and I booked a Saturday night stay in order to run the pittsburgh marathon Sunday morning. All other downtown hotels were booked, but the location was not bad at all, the race ran past the hotel about the nine mile mark. The problems we encountered were the fact that the parking garage was right in front of the hotel and it is the public parking […] space for several restaurants/bars. Parking is charged hourly, but we found out that the only way people find their cars between midnight and three in the morning is to set their alarms off aking it impossible to sleep for us. The opposite side of the hotel facing the river with the good view has trains running in front of it, but I would take that chance over literally constant car alarms. The hotel and location are wonderful. However, the front desk staff isn't the nicest or most helpful. When I asked at check-in if I could have a late check out, the girl couldn't have been ruder, stating " well everyone wants a late check out, why should you get one". For the amount that was charged for this hotel room, I was extremely disappointed. The front desk staff were less than welcoming. The room had no recent renovations. There were no electral outlets by the bed or nightstands, no availalbe outlets by the desk. The only available outlets were in the bathroom. I always saw the Sheraton Hotel as a nice, upscale hotel but I was disappointed at my first stay there. In a king room, there was no refrigerator like I've had in other hotels with cheaper rates. The walls seemed quite thin and we heard EVERY noise in the hallway and room next door. We also had to pay a great deal for parking.

Great location & nice big room...even had a walk-in closet! Within walking distance to restaurants, shops & nightlife.

Easy to get to and access the city. Will definitely stay again!

arrived at the hotel and it was vary nice unfortunately the hotel front desk receptionist was not ,vary cold and non cordial .the night stay was interrupted by screaming teenagers in the hall vary loud for about one hour or so without any one intervening from hotel management. walls were vary thin and could hear people next to our room.the hotel air […] condition vary noisy . the view was great and the in room service was excellent.on the way out at check out the receptionist was vary cold and did not ask how was our night stay, i did get a refund for the overnight parking after i complained about the night stay but i will not stay or recommend this hotel to my friends. This hotel was close to downtown and was within a short drive (10 minutes) of the Heinz Museum and the Strip District. I'd stay here again.

We stayed in Pittsburgh for one night and had a great time. The hotel room was a little run down, with chipped paint and a hair in the coffee cup, but the bed was super comfy. When we checked in the staff were not very welcoming, but the location was great, with tons of restaurants (chains) and bars nearby. I think it would be a fun area in the warmer […] weather. While the lobby was nice and the bed comfortable, those items are probably the only positives about my recent stay at the Sheraton Station Square. My biggest complaint was the noise. The proximity of my room to the train made it seem throughout the night that the train was actually running through my room! Also, the walls were so thin that early in […] the morning I heard room service personnel loudly knocking on doors greeting guests. And lastly, I found the restaurant personnel rude and unhelpful. I'd expect much more from a Sheraton. We stayed there because we had a function there. The service was slow but everything was done, eventually, not in a timely fashion. The views from rooms are great but the rail road which is right there is too noisy, especially at night. The little shopping are near by appears to be dying, only a few stores are left […] open. Stayed for the weekend. Doorman and ladies at check-in were friendly,informative and helpful. The views of Pittsburgh were awesome especially when the lights came on. In addition to it's close proximity to the clubs at Station Square, it is also convenient to all the fun pubs and shops on Carson Street and the Strip District. For my first time ever stayin at this hotel, I would have to say it was very exciting, relaxing and not to mention classy. I had such a wonderful time and Will definately book again!!=)

The title says it all this hotel is in the perfect place. There are plenty of eateries and bars in walking distance and a mall. There is also a ferry launch right their so if you just want to take a cruise or take it to Heinz Field then this is a perfect choice. Great hotel with an amazing location. I called the hotel to notify them that I would be arriving about 3 hours earlier than anticipated. As soon as I arrived, my room was ready and I was able to unpack. Parking the car is kind of a hassle because the only place you can park is in the hourly parking structure. if you stay for the weekend, this can add […] up quickly. When you get there the first day, take your ticket for the hourly parking. When you checkout days later, tell the front desk that you lost your ticket and you'll only be charged for 1 full day ($18) instead of the multiple days you stayed there. This is an inside trick I heard from the doorman. Restaurants in the area are solid. You're also a cab ride away from Carson Street. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone that decides to go to this part of Pittsburgh. Читати далі

This hotel was a great place to stay for our first ever Steelers game. In addition to the excitement of a Steeler home game, Station Square was decorated for the Christmas holiday which made the atmosphere even better. Hotel check-in was very easy and friendly. The concierge was very prompt in arranging a car or taxi for us. The room was very clean and warm on our arrival, and housekeeping arrived at about the same time every morning. We ordered room service late one night and the food arrived within 30 minutes and was quite good. The room service operator on the […] phone should refrain from negative comments about background noise while on the phone with a guest. Several freight trains pass by the hotel blowing their horns at all hours of the day and night. We had a great stay at the Sheraton Station Square. The rooms were large and clean, and the view of the city was great. WiFi service works wonderfully. The only negative was with the hotel bar in the lobby. The lady bartender was hating life and clearly would rather there were no customers there.

We were greeted at the door like royalty then at check in we were treated like the woman did not want to be bothered. The hotel was near alot of places to eat and shop. The hotel is older and the shower sprayed all over the bathroom. All in all it was a nice place to stay but could be better

totally unacceptable service at check out. Information on airport timing was wrong. Airport transport information was wrong causing us to miss our flight. Worst was that the staff was no help in resolving the problem

wonderful trip for all, grandson kept saying "best birthday ever" went to science center, toured station sq. rode incline and saw the beautiful sights of Pittsburgh
