Red Roof Inn Knoxville Central - Papermill Road - Ноксвілль

The hotel smelled very musty and was just very creepy. I had prepaid for two nights and did not even stay one night there. We did not unpack but went to an event we had for a couple of hours and then I returned and moved us out into an other hotel. I chose to lose the money I prepaid rather than stay there.

I would stay there again and I look forward to seeing what it looks like when all the work is done on it.. Needs a new pool bad

The hotels was in an idea spot, adequate rate, continental breakfast a plus. But there was an over whelmng sewage smell on the second floor. The tub and sinks were stopped up. Which leads you to believe they had a bad plumbing problem. When I mentioned it to the front desk, they claim it was a diaper from someone on the floor. But this odor smelled […] like total sewage. When I asked for a blanket they told me that I need to go to the fron desk for it by my self, breakfast sisnt reach my thoughts, not very clean restrooms, and the checkout was 11 and when I asked for a late checkout they gave me till 12 and if a minute more they'll charge me a new day they said

Convenient location, the place is in remodeling and it is actually called for.

The hotel was quiet and clean. There were some aesthetics that could be improved upon like fixed up wallpaper and some ceiling tiles that were stained. The bathrooms were very well maintained and clean.

It was fine

No complaints. Room and breakfast were good. Very clean. Easy access to everything.

By far, this is the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. DO NOT stay here unless price is your only motivator. The room was filthy. We had no shower curtain - no shower curtain! The phone didn't work so we couldn't call the front desk. The place literally looks like it was abandoned in the 1990s and we weren't supposed to be there. THE SERVICE: It was bad […] - just bad. I had apparently booked a "smoking room" accidentally. I asked to be changed. The front-desk person "couldn't change it". I said I'd pay more - "I can't change it". Okay great. (I think she enjoyed telling me that ) Perhaps this is a "smoking only" hotel? I could live with a smoking room, especially since we were in town for a show (weren't there much) but the whole place was very nasty and felt unsafe. The photo in the ad looks great - the place is in a reasonbly convenient section of Knoxville. It even looks reasonably good as we pulled into the parking lot.. IT IS A PIG PEN. Frankly I'm shocked that Hotels.com would have such a place on it's roster. I use Hotels.com lots (and will continue to use them), however - come on guys, you're better than this. Now the positive - IT IS CHEAP. But so is a campground. (and the campground is safer and cleaner.) I'm not picky normally. I stay at all levels of hotels. Normally I know what I'm getting based on the price - expectations. However, I would have been happier to have paid more money to have a cleaner hotel. Run away. Читати далі

First non-smoking room was overwhelmingly filled with Cigarette smoke. Second room was great. Very Accommodating. Good Breakfast. Bed was hard.

The location of the hotel is nice as its right off the exit. However, the room was not as clean as we expected it to be. It seemed that the bed was never made and there were hair in the bath tub. Upon bringing this to their attention, we were given a different room but it was a same story. The night clerk was the most unfriendly person I met on my trip. She was within an inch of being rude. The hotel is being renovated and there were some smells in the place. My sheets were very thin and had a hole in them. the continental breakfast consisted of a loaf of bread that everyone had to stick their hand in and a gallon container of milk that […] was to be shared. The desk clerks were all good at their customer service skills. Night person seemed too tired to smile but wasn't rude/3rd shift is no fun so I understand. Rooms, esp bathrooms really need renovations/chipping, no shower liner, old counter tops, just dated. Room dated in general but clean and you do get a mini fridge and mini micro. Big rip on the carport […] on the way in. My bed had a...I hope, koolaid stain on it but that was under many layers of clean, white sheets so that's alright for a Red Roof. This Red Roof was better than most. I've never opted to stay at one before. Location is right off 40 and very close to Kingston (a road with lots of places to eat). I'd give this one 3 stars. Two. No, that is not the number of stars I would rate this hotel, but the number of showers that I needed to take in order to feel clean after spending the night here. We arrived here late on a Friday after driving the whole day and found out that the room didn't have a working toilet. Not a good start. The person working tried, unsuccessfully, to get […] it working and then moved us to another room. The toilet in that room worked, but filled very slowly so we had to listen to the running water for awhile after each flush. The stairwells and doorways outside were filthy with dirt, cigarette butts, and refuse. The carpeting in the building was not much better. I started counting the major pieces of dirt/ buildup that I saw on the carpet, but stopped counting at fifteen. The sheets in the room were tinged yellow and made for a scary sleeping experience. I wrapped a shirt around my pillow to at least keep my head clean. My girlfriend slept in her clothing and a hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled up over her head. Neither of us slept well and left in the morning relieved that we had only booked one night there. This place got excellent reviews which is why we stayed there. Very decent for the price. The front desk lady that works the graveyard shift was very unfriendly and unprofessional. Besides that it was ok. Oh yea do not get a smoking room at all spend the extra money for non smoking or you'll regret it.

This hotel is under renovation. The room was crowded and small although relatively clean. The breakfast was not very good.

Construction on the first floor but it seems that no guest are put there. Way better than expected. Had some trouble getting the tv to work but Jeff from the front desk was super helpful. Will stay there again if I ever find myself in Knoxville.

Super affordable and well worth little you pay. Friendly service. Easy check in and check out. Cannot ask for more.

Air conditioner in room did not work. Toaster in Breakfast Room was broken.

Very good for the price.

The price was great but the hotel was older & in need of a lot of refurbishing. It was very clean but dingy looking. I would highly recommend this hotel after it has had some major work done to it.

The hotel smelled bad. It made us feel like we might catch something. The bathroom towels had stains on them and were yellow. The vent was missing in the bathroom , I thought someone might be watching me . Had along drive. Needless to say we had to take turns sleeping in the car.

I enjoyed my stay, the location was convenient to shopping, dining, etc. The room was always clean and the amenities made my stay there even more comfortable.

The hotel was in the midst of renovations. Everything was satisfactory except for the mattress was uncomfortable (e.g., felt every spring).

The desk clerk who had no other customers decided to finish her personal phone call before even acknowledging my presence. There was only one way in or out-front door-problem if you have a room at the other end of the property and a dog that needed to go out during the night. We stayed at this hotel for a business conference; chose it because close to downtown and the reviews were mixed; however, the negative/ poor reviews are telling the truth. The hotel was filthy; dust, dirt, rust, and mold everywhere. The covers on the beds were dirty, bathroom had stains and housekeeping only came for 1 of the 4 days we were staying […] there. The breakfast was disgusting; no real choices just egg ehites, cereal and juice. I have stayed at Red Roof Inns before and they have been great; this hotel is a mockery of their chain and needs to be destroyed. The Hotel is easily accessible, very next to the exit and the front desk staff are very helpful and room is clean.

This was the second time we stayed at this hotel and you have remodeled and added amenities. Thank you for this. The only issue is there were no cots available and the clerk said there were only three for the hotel. We where at swimmeet and was not much at home and there was everything there we need. and the hotel staff was friendly.

Location of hotel was great. Right off the main hwy. Room was clean and comfortable. Overall a great stay!

Surprised at the quality of the hotel. It went on my expectations. The staff were friendly. The breakfast was well stocked with a good variety. Will definitely stay there again.

This was my first stay at this Hotel and I was quite surprised at how nice it was for the price. The bed was hard which may be OK for some people but I am used to sleeping on Memory Foam so it was a hard for me to get comfortable in this bed. This hotel is in a great spot. Not too much traffic in the imediate area, very quiet an quaint. The room was in good shape and clean upon arrival. The hallways smell of grease though could use some maintaining. All in all room good, hotel overall needs some work.

Indian owned, constant strong odor of Indian food, smoke filled hallways, dirty rooms. Much of hotel is abandoned, with other areas where people seem to reside long term. Breakfast area is packed each morning with migrant workers/contractors. Had to repeatedly ask mgmt/staff for breakfast items. This hotel was a disaster. Not only was half of the place having construction going on, it smelled horrible. Our rooms toilet did not work where they had they water cut off. The front desk was very rude. I will not return.

Old - Large Hotel not the Hilton but very satisifed for my $$$$. The conveience & hospitality outweigh any negatives. Stay there regularly !!
