I have stayed at this motel before. The staff (front desk) are very polite, very cordial and very accomodating. The restaurant and bar area also are a nice feature often missing in most motels today. "Enjoyable Stay"
Last minute reservation for Super Bowl weekend. Found the hotel to exceed expectations in many areas; clean rooms, comfortable beds, outstanding restaurant and bar, and friendly staff. Location was perfect to I65 to access Indianapolis and Chicago.

"Older, But Updated and Well-Maintained"
This hotel is over 30 years old, but you wouldn't know it. The rooms we rented (especially on the 6th floor) were updated and clean. The restaurant and pool were great, and the water park was a nice diversion for the children. The lobby is cluttered and overloaded with a wild mix of antiques and memorabilia.

Yes you get what you pay for but I could have paid much less than I did for this hotel and stayed at a four star in San Fransisco. There was not much choice and I choose the BW because of the pool for my 5 year old daughter. I did not realize it was $15.00 extra per person but she loved it. The 'free' pool is not designed for young children because […] there is no shallow area and so small you really have no choice but to pay for Buckaneer Bay. Both pools were clean.( I stayed at another hotel nearby the previous year and choose not to this year because the pool area was disgusting...but it DID have a continental breakfast included and I paid less to stay there. So I guess it depends on what you are looking for. Front desk attendants and the lobby were nice. The room was pretty much what you would expect. I was able to open the sliding glass door to let fresh air in. The bathroom tub and toilet were in need of repair. I had to remove 'hairs' from the tub which grossed me out. We stayed two nights and I don't believe a vaccume was used during our stay. I did like that the hotel is being 'green' by giving you a choice not to wash the sheets every day and I have no problem reusing a towel. Читати далі
