I was pleased with the layout of the room almost an apartment style setting which was what I was looking for. The hotel is old and everything in it is old clean but old. Enjoyed the stay and loved the suite make-up. All you could ask for in a hotel and then some. Fridge had left-overs in it when we got there but hotel staff removed and cleaned immediately.

Extremely dirty, blood on mirror, one mirror leaning against wall, bed not made, tvs didnt work, and the best part is they wanted me to leave a 100.00 deposit for the room incase anything was damaged. There was little that wasnt damaged when we got there.

Very nice! Comfortable, clean, loved having a full kitchen and a working fireplace (although I didn't use it). Truly enjoyed my stay.

The service was pretty good, but the room was dirty on the first day. Room service fixed it propmtly though.

Nice hotel for the money. We needed to go downtown and it was only 10 minutes away. Nice hotel staff. Good breakfast. Wish room was cleaner, that the only complaint.

They did have a transformer blow up, so I was two days without power. They do have a belgian waffle maker. But they ran out of syrup. Rooms were large. Had kitchen, etc. Good water pressure. Needs updating, but for the price and for a place with a basketball court it's not bad. I would stay there again maybe.

My stay at this hotel was all of an hour. It was dirty, unorganized, smelled and was one step above a horror house. The room I was given was upstairs in the back of one of the buildings; I had to look over my shoulder to make sure I wasn't going to get jumped. To open the door, I had to hip check it. There was a furnace behind a locked door in the filthy […] kitchen. No light in the bathroom. It smelled musty and gross; I was completely creeped out. To make matters worse, I made arrangements for a shuttle from the airport upon my arrival; I confirmed this the day before my trip. I was told to call when I arrived and they'd sent someone to pick me up. I did as was told, and when I called upon arrival, I was told I needed to call an hour before I wanted to be picked up and needed to take a cab. Being unfamiliar with the city, I had no idea of the distance. $45 cab ride later, I was dropped off in front of the place and the desk clerk gave me the generic "sorry for the inconvenience" answer. The room itself wasnt that bad besides for the outdated furniture and just the cleanliness. The refrigerater seal was bad and had black mold growing on it. The room also had a stinch to it. The bed was okay. The worst part of ou stay was the front desk personel and the loudness of the guests above us. They were so loud and sounded as if they were just […] jumping around al night. There was also nowhere to park when we came back from dinner. we had to park 3 parking lots away which was a bunch of crap considering they took the make n model of our vehicle when we checked in. I assumed that was to assure there was one car per room. When I taled to the front desk about this the guy was reallyrude and said there was nothing he could do. Comfortable room. Very nice guy who checked us in/out. Convenient shuttle bus with super nice guy who shuttled us to/from football game. Looking forward to returning again

I recently spent 3 nights in this hotel and the staff were exceptional in their assistance to any of my needs. I would definately stay there again and I would recomend this hotel to others

The hotel had plenty of free parking. Not a bad neighborhood. Easy to get to the main highways. The outside appearance of the buildings is very pleasant. The rooms could use some refurbishing sometime. Our room wasn't thoroughly cleaned upon arrival. With notifying the front desk, a cleaning person arrived promptly to take care of the cleaning.

At 5PM, my room was still NOT clean. I had been waiting for over an hour. They opted to upgrade me, which was appreciated, but the next room did not have a blanket on my bed and the toilet had been used and not flushed. First of all the staff was a little cold when I arrived. One clerk gave me the key while the other one counted hundreds of dollars right in front of me. I felt as though that was very unsafe. Then they gave me a room that faced the highway so the noise was crazy ridiculous. When i got into the room it smelled musty and old. then I looked in the bathroom […] area and there were no knobs on the drawers to the vanity. I was afraid to put anything in the refrig because there was paint peeling in the refrig!!!!!! the light in the refrig did not work. The microwave was very outdated. The carpet was dirty, the landscaping outside was grown up weeds and dried out grass. I know it's October in Pittsburgh but this place was so unkept. What made things so bad is that I had rented a townhouse from them about 6 years ago and this hotel was in excellent condition. Now.....It's terrible!!!! "Breakfast" consisted of rubber sausage links of which I could not stomach more than one bite, recently thawed pizza bagels, as well as microwaved omelettes. Room was large but old. WiFi worked poorly. Shower was marginally clean but good water temperature and pressure. Bed was fine. Room was quiet. TV/cable worked. The room could have been cleaner. They seemed to be understaffed in the housekeeping department. There was mold, stains on the walls, dirty dishes, and sticky counters. All of that could have been fixed with a good cleaning. My bed was clean, crisp and white, the furnishings were nice, and the decor wasn't too bad. It looked like they tried to do some […] updates in the kitchen area, but the shoddy pink tile job and badly painted cabinets look tacky. The location is convienent, but expect slow moving traffic around 6:30-8:00am and 4-6pm. Took me over hour to get to my destination in Pittsburgh and I was only 5 miles away. For those not familar with Pittsburgh (like I wasn't), I-376 is known for congested traffic. The staff was friendly and the grounds are nice. The complementary breakfast was wonderful. The hotel lobby had great decor. I wish they had put that much thought into the rooms. I really liked the "apartment" feeling that the rooms gave and the setup. I would consider staying here again, but remember to take my cleaning supplies. I am happy I got the room at a great price. If I would have paid full price, I would have been upset. Читати далі

The hotel building looks very old. The carpets in the room are worn out. For the price they charged this is not the hotel I recommend. The service was good though.

Some of the problems: Musty smell Dirty floors Water leaking into bathroom ceiling Water on bathroom floor from another leak Doors broken Entire bathroom ceiling mildewed Poor outside maintenance Lobby closed early morning

decent hotel at decent price, good location, friendly staff.

My trip started off on the wrong foot because my flight was delayed so the free hotel shuttle stopped running and I had to take a $35 cab ride to the hotel. The woman at the front desk didnt give me any information about the area or anything when I checked in. The next day I made it down to the comp breakfast which was pretty good but could use some […] fresh fruit or something. The chairs in the lobby are stained and look very dirty and the bed in the room was very out dated. The front desk staff was not very welcoming at first but once you got to know them they warmed up nicely. But first impressions are everything. Upon arrival at our room found the following problems: Closet door off it's frame, laying against the wall; full size mirror sitting on the floor with frame broken; hole in closet door; lightbulb in lamp missing. Advised staff but nothing done about these problems during our stay. Breakfast was so bad the second day we went out to eat. The last day […] killed two cockroaches on the counter near the stove. This hotel is poorly maintained and poorly managed. The external appearance of the buildings is poor, with weeds growing in the "flower" beds, debris scattered about and everything in need of a good scrubbing. The neighborhood has nothing to offer...an old factory and rail yard across the street, and a cemetary next door. The rooms are dated but reasonably […] clean. The bathtub faucet leaks and the exhaust fan sounds like a lawn mower running in the ceiling. The bed was comfortable except that the a/c vent was right over the bed. Every time the a/c came on and off I had to throw the blanket on or off so as not to freeze/roast. The breakfast was OK, but not much variety. The lady stocking the breakfast was pleasant but clearly annoyed that she didn't have much to offer that day. The upholstered chairs in the breakfast room are food-stained and badly in need of cleaning. The front desk area does not present a good appearance to arriving customers. The front desk staff handled my check-in quickly but the keys she programmed for my door did not work. Another staff member was nearby (helping another family whose key cards wouldn't work!) and he let me into my room and came back with replacement key cards. The nicest feature of this hotel is the shuttle service. I got a ride into the center of town to go to a ball game and was picked up just outside the ballpark after the game. Unfortunately the "5:00" shuttle left at 4:53 so I missed it. However the front desk called the driver and he came back for me, readily offering an apology for not advising me of the early departure. The morning of my departure I observed the desk clerk in a disagreement with a guest over the shuttle service. The guest had requested upon check-in to be listed for the 8AM shuttle every morning but on this particular day the shuttle left without him. HOtel was in good repair and very clean. It is older but the value for what we were looking for was great. Very convienent to Pittsburgh. Overall very satisfied.

This place a complete dive. Raw sewage in the Parking lot! Water dripping from light fixture. Dirty room! Shuttle driver was rude to customers.

This hotel has potential but needs to prioritize their staff to get their jobs done before chatting on the phone with a cart full of dirty or clean towels in the lobby. We arrived at 1:30 PM and were told that we would have to wait until 4:00 PM for a room. We could register for the FREE shuttle to PNC for 5 PM. that we should have our room by then. […] So we went to Station Square which was only about 15 minutes away. We arrived back to our hotel at approx. 4:30PM and the same couple that were told the same thing to come back was there along with 2 others to check in. I went to check-in and I was told that there was no rooms and they would not know when. They did somehow get us a room quickly then. We rushed to our room which was stinky and floors and sliding glass doors were disgusting my son said we have to stay in this dump. The bed was very comfortable and the shower pressure was relaxing. The gentleman who drove us to the game was a sweetie and even came and picked us up! Therefore, we did not need to pay for a cab or parking. It was free we just tipped him every time. With our stay , we did have some positive attributes, but it is very hard to get over the exterior of the hotel. My husband and I stayed here during a last minute trip to Pittsburgh. - Check in: Took a minute because the attendant was on the phone. He kept rolling his eyes while talking to the customer on the phone with attitude. He did not appear professional at all in his attire. - We stayed on a ground level room that was "behind" one of the building sets. […] Landscaping was awful and in need of serious work, sidewalks were cracked and broken, weeds were overgrown, outside lights leading on path behind large building had two burnt out (made it VERY creepy). - Our room was "under" a balacony of another one that was covered in spiders and bugs. Completely unacceptable. - Kitchen oven was absolutely disgusting and looked like no one had EVER cleaned it. Fridge was dirty. Floor was dirty. Silverware drawer was fully of gross dirt and food. - Dark brown carpets looked disgusting. I wore flipflops the entire time for fear of stepping in something gross. - Bathroom needed some serious cleaning and paint. - Bed was very "springy" and had a dip in the middle. Sheets were old and worn looking, but clean. - Patio was unable to be walked on due to bugs, spiders, weeds. The breakfast saved the stay, fresh food and quick service hotel staff was friendly, hotel needs to be updated.

Stayed here to go to the Pirates-Tigers games. Used the shuttle one day. Drove the other. Very satisfied with everything. Breakfast was also good and very plentiful.

We had to be in Pittsburgh for a funeral so we only stayed one night. But the room was comfortable and clean and exactly what we needed. The bathrooms could use a little more attention but overall a pretty nice place. I am from Pittsburgh so I found the location to be pretty convenient to the city and every where we needed to go for the funeral. I would […] recommend this to my friends and family. I would not stay here again. The room was a mess when I first got there. The only thing they would do each day, was make the bed and refresh the towels. The bathroom looked like it was never cleaned and the floor was never vacuumed. I do normally look for this chain when I am traveling due to the quality of the rooms.
