Showers were cold

Came to Kansas City for the car show. The hotel let us check in early and put our bags in our room so that we could head out to the car show. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning had cereal, toast, waffles, danish, coffee and juice. I would definitely stay here again. Great stay for the money and easy access […] off the interstate. had to wait four hours on the frig and microwave which was already supposed to be their and for a non smoking room the smoke on the second floor was very bad

lobby was nice. room was clean. just surprised at how tiny the room was. However, the tiny little room was nice enough. slept well. That's probably the bottom line.

It was nice, clean, and comfortable! Nice decor and was overall a great place to stay. The only negatives were the surrounding neighborhood/area and the over night desk clerk (a man) who was very unfriendly. The daytime girl was awesome though.

This was our 2nd and final stay at the Econo Lodge. Our first visit I noticed it was a little rundown, but nothing major. Well a year later it is still on it's way down and obviously not maintained. The baseboards were caked with dirt & hair, the window had a broken screen and was full of ashes, the bathroom had a giant black hairball on the floor and […] the entire room just had a gross feel. NOT TO MENTION, the fact that I picked this room based on the simple fact that it says there are coffee makers IN THE ROOMS...nope! Читати далі

The customer service was horrible, weren't able to check in till 45 minutes after the scheduled check in time. Hotel associates wouldn't even look you in the eyes when communicating with. I felt like they didn't even care if i was there or not. The air conditioner sounded like an airplane taking off every time it came on. Room was supposed to be clean, […] but when i went to use the toilet it looked like it hasn't been flushed or cleaned in a week. Читати далі

As it turned out, we had a third person come with us to the event. The hotel staff was very accommodating, and provided us with a cot for the extra guest. There was a small fee for the cot, but they waived the "multiple guest" charge. Also, the route to and from the Sprint Center in downtown, was so easy to follow. The on ramps and exits were well noted, […] and travel between the two locations seemed a lot less than four miles. Not a glamourous hotel but beds were comfortable. Hotels.com told me they were reserving a king size bed but they actually reserved 2 queen beds. It worked OK for us but I don't like getting something different than I expect. Very convenient to casinos.

We visited the Econo Lodge for a wedding two miles from the hotel. Upon checking in, there were three male members of staff standing in the check in area. None of them really seemed to be sure who should be dealing with us and they all talked to each other rather than welcoming us upon arrival. Once we were checked in, we went to our room on the 3rd […] floor. The directions they gave were good, the room was easy to find. It was clean and quiet, though not very well equipped. There was no coffee or tea maker contrary to the hotel listing. Our stay was quiet, the room clean and the price was bargain. The surrounding area was quite....unsavory...but the hotel itself was reasonable. I would recommend a stay here if you are on a budget, but not if you want to be close to the center of KC or near entertainment. Читати далі

Price was average even though we had two small dogs. The room itself was ok. AC/Heat worked good! Bed wasn't comfortable. Pillow sucked. Tried a different pillow 2nd night and it was better. Bathroom was clean except the bathtub had some sort of stain (glue?) all over the bottom of it. The bathroom was small and cramped. While I was not expecting an extravagnat room, properly functioning shower is a must. Shower head did not have pressure at all and the diverter valve does not work. Also at check in, the person checking us in said they could not find the reservation for one of my rooms, after calling Hotels.com and being on hold and then waiting again in line, the room […] was there all along under my friend's name. The rooms were all updated with wood floors; no nasty carpet. The room and hotel were both very clean. I checked in about 10:30 and I got right in to my room.

I only spent one night at this hotel and was there for a very short period of time, but was pleased that the manager immediately upgraded me to a larger room than I had booked. I was there for a short business trip, so I didn't stay long, but the room had everything I needed, was clean, and "just fine". Strangely enough, the only thing I thought was […] in need of replacement was the toilet seat... it looked like it was an original! :) The hotel was easy to find, but a lot of construction in the area made it more difficult to get to that it normally would be. Also, the area - convenient to casinos, fast food, and the hospital - is fairly industrial and I noticed several police cars making their rounds, which made me feel a little unsettled. Roadwork all around the hotel made for some delays, but the hotel was clean and comfortable. No fridge, microwave, or carpet in the room kept the price rock bottom low, but the bed was comfy and the breakfast was quite good. One thing, though, the coffee at the breakfast was some of the worse I have ever had. But the waffle machine made wonderful waffles. For the price, very excellent room with hardwood floors. No need for much more space!

The rate for the hotel room was very reasonable, just needed a place to crash after visiting the near-by theme park. Very clean room, warm water, the continental breakfast even had a waffle maker!

It was perfect for our needs. Quaint little room with nice up to date furniture. We especially liked to faux wood floors in the main area! Much better than creepy hotel carpet! It seemed to be clean, well kept and modern fixtures. Exceptional for the price!
