This hotel looked tired and running on bare bones. There were holes and smoker's burns in our bedding. The wall paper was peeling off the wall and bathroom had dirty corners. The breakfast was minimal at best. Limited facilities were located on separate floors and not all were in working condition. We will not stay here again

This was the perfect hotel...I had some classes for work that were on the U of M campus and this hotel was about as close as it gets. It literally sits in the TCF Bank Stadium Parking Lot. And it's close to the college night life.

Perfect place just to lay your head for the price! Worked perfect for us to go to a few games on the U of M campus.

This hotel is clean but nothing fancy. Great location for events at UM pool, the Barn, football field, hockey arena, etc. Excellent value. Plenty of good places to eat within walking distance.

The purpose of my trip was for a concert in downtown Minneapolis. I stayed two nights. The hotel is conveniently located close to the downtown area and offers a free shuttle to your destination or approximate location. The hotel itself had many guests, but was quiet. The room was clean, although had a weird smell. It reminded me of strawberry chapstick […] ;) The people at the service desk were very nice and helpful during my whole stay. Overall, great location, great staff, clean rooms, and LOVE the shuttle to downtown especially in the cold weather! Читати далі

Great location to Williams Arena. We walked to the Gophers basketball game and then had easy access to several eating places afterward.

We had a late check in and only slept there. Location was great for U of M. However this hotel is in need of of some major updating. The Staff was friendly and polite.

I was only in town for 2 nights but hotel was great!

Very clean. Convenient location for the U of M and very near downtown Minneapolis.

Quite literally accross the street from the U of M. There are food locations within walking distance open late (midnight or later) as well for those have to work late. I had to rely on the shuttle service at least twice a day. So flexible and accomdating I got to where I needed to be fast. The staff was very nice and helpful. Right next to U of M stadium and convenient food and drink options. The shuttle service to get around town is really helpful... It's a steal compared to downtown business hotels.

If you have meeting at convention center, this hotel is a pretty good place as it has a shuttle to send and pick up you there. It basically has everything you have, wifi and cable. Maybe it looks not that fancy, considering its price, this hole is OK.

I specifically requested a non-smoking room and was pleased at check-in to be on a non-smoking floor. Yet two different nights the smell of smoke was so pronounced in the hallway that I was convinced someone had just stepped out of their room and lit up. Also, the desk chair was mismatched with the desk making it almost impossible to do any writing […] there. On the plus side, if you go, take advantage of the many terrific "hole in the wall" ethnic restaurants in the neighborhood. Читати далі

I've stayed at this hotel before, for my needs it's a great location, if your in town for U of M, your right in the heart of the university. The room was in good shape, and the breakfast is nice too.

Room was clean, service was friendly, access to room was easy, the beds could have been a little bigger (full) and more comfortable.

Booked a non-smoking room. Was put in a smoking room that smelled so bad I could barely sleep.

For the location, it is a good value. The breakfast room has been enlarged and upgraded since I last stayed there. Fixtures are older and the bed was not the best, but it was clean. The staff was pleasant.

We spent a great weekend at the Days Inn on University. It's closse to all the events we attended. Minnesota State Fair & the Metrodome. The staff were courteous and very helpful. It was a busy time and hotel was full but all guests were treated as royalty. I would recommend this hotel to all.

lowered price alternative to Radison/HolidayInn when needing to be superclose to Univ Minnesota...offers free continental breakfast (did not wake up in time to taste)...had fridge/microwave combo (small) in "business class" room--and ice cream and microwave products available in vending machine--plus FREE parking

The location was great for us as the hotel is right by the stadium and U of M campus. The room decor hasn't been changed for some time but it was clean. The air conditioner was as loud as a Mac Truck downshifting. The beds were very comfortable and the staff extremely nice and helpful. I'd stay again. The staf went out of their way to accomodate our needs. The shuttle service was accomplished without groans or moans. Friendly & helpful would be my words. Thanks.

The hotel staff was very helpful and we enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning. It took 15-25 minutes to get a cab to the hotel though and if you are not there to go to something on the University of Minnesota's campus, there is not much else close by to the hotel.

This hotel is in a good location, but the attention to detail by the housekeeping staff was lacking. We got a good deal, but I would have been upset if we'd paid more money for our accommodations.

i stayed for six nights. I liked almost everything especially the friendly treatment by staff. breakfast does not include a large variety, but it was generally OK.

close to campus and new TGF stadium - nice stay!

Days Inn was a great choice for a short trip to Minneapolis. Close to the city and surrounding areas. The staff was very nice and friendly and breakfast was OK, and a lot better than other options such as super 8. Very recomendable.

Air condition unit was loud and rattled when it was running. Our room (101) was right next to the lobby... there should've been somebody making sure people were very quiet after a certain time of night (10pm).

The rooms did not get any bigger in the 20 yr since graduate school but they were super clean and it worked well for freshman orientation for our youngest. Road construction is a pain but what do you expect during the "other" season in Minnesota. Was a good value. Great housekeeping staff

Clean and friendly waiters

Clean refurbished modern rooms, Excellent housekeeping, efficiently friendly front desk. Minus -1 point for high carbohydrate breakfast selection on sticky 2nd smoking floor. Would stay again.

Hotel is in fair condition. Beds are extremely firm, and the bathrooms are tiny. Didn't spend much time in the room but the TV's are old and picture is very poor. Location is great for TCF Bank and downtown Minneapolis. Probably won't stay here again unless I needed a cheap place near downtown.
