Days Inn Charleston Airport Coliseum - Норт-Чарльзтон

We expected better from the Day's Inn. Since we have stayes at Day's Inn properties before, we did not have high expectations for this hotel. Although the rooms were acceptably clean, they were definately showing their age. Wireless internet is only avaiable in half of the rooms. Otherwise, you have to use a cord (which is provided at no cost) to use […] their SLOW dial-up service, The cord is quite short, so we were forced to sit on the floor to use our computer. This was very inconvinient as we were accessing the internet frequently to locaye points of interest and research places to eat. The local stations (ABC, NBC, CBS and FOX) had such bad reception that we could not bear to watch them. One night, they turned off the water pressure for over an hour because they had discovered a water leak. The breakfast room was extremely small and could not hold the weekend crowds and selections for breakfast were limited. The only other positive thing I can say is that the stff was friendly. We will definately pay a little more to stay at a better hotel on our next trip. Although I was not too displeased, my husband commented that he would give this hotel a negative rating if he could. Older hotel...but in good shape. I would stay there again.

I was extremely unhappy with my original room because it smelled terrible like marijuanna. I mentioned it to the front desk and they quickly switched rooms for me. It please me that the staff was able to assist me. However it was upsetting that a room could smell so potent.

My stay at the Days Inn Airport Coliseum was "OUTSTANDING!" The Staff and the hotel manager was very friendly and courteous and professional. The quality of my room was good, and the breakfast was outstanding! The room was clean and it was a pleasure staying there!

I was miserable, the room smelled cigarettes smoke even though the room was supposed to be a non-smoking one. The bathroom was clogged and the night receptionist kept ignoring my calls and when she answered she hang up on me. I suffered like you cannot imagine. The night was noisy. The breakfast was horribly horrible.

As a visitor who had never been to that city before , I would have liked to have had info about transportation available . I was given a phone number that was always busy. So I wanted more concern about me. The accomodations were adaquate but I didn't want to have to stay in the room cause I didn't have any information.

Great stay at a budget hotel. No complaints. Will use again

This hotel is a little tired around the edges. It needs a fair number of upgrades to various parts. windows need replacing, many have their seals broken so they appear 'foggy'. I had to wait in the lobby at 12 am after work for over an hour because the door lock would not work the manager would not answer her phone the maint. Man kept hanging up on the front desk people. Then in the morning the manager gave me 20 dollars as if that was a good fix. A comp night would have suited me better as I am a out of town worker that will […] be returning. The hotel was nice, I liked it...It is not the best one,but overall I am very satisfied. Breakfast buffet was very good,but I had to take food to my room, because there were too many people.Room was clean.It is right close to highway. I will come back again there, cause the price is not too high

Close to outlet mall and close to the airport. Staff friendly and helpful. Firehouse Subs just down the street, GREAT food

The hotel was very convenient, and the linens were very clean. The carpet was old and the room smelled like smoke at first, you can tell that some of the hotel has been upgraded and some parts of the rooms haven't. This place is no more than a flop house. Out of town contractors stayed here during my stay. Everything was old.and needs a major update. It was definitely not the cleanest place I ever stayed in. Even at the discounted price, it was not worth it. Slept OK but would not stay here again.

There are a multitude of hotels in the area that are much nicer and more convenient.

Not a great place to stay... Got in after midnight (late flight) and the clerk tossed the key through a hole in the door. After walking past the room several times, I discovered the room number was missing and had been replaced by someone writing the number on the door with a sharpie! Don't believe me, I took a picture of it and will post. Shady characters […] milling around. Early in the morning around 6, the ice machine was being used full tilt for a long time. On arrival my motel room had a very strong musty,moldy,etc. smell. Tile in bathroom had dirty corners near the bathtub and commode. Microwave and refrigerator were beaten up and scratched up. Wall outlets were few and far apart. When I tried to sleep I was covered with dog/cat fleas all night long. I had bites on my face,both arms, and my back. The room i had the floor was moldy, the walls were yellow and nasty. I checked out the next day it was so bad. I will never stay there again

This room had a safe that didn't work, but then none of them did as I discovered. OUT OF DATE COMPUTOR SYSTEM FOR GUESTS. A/C didn't work properly. Not woth the money...

Overall it was ok room 245 has no veiw of nothing but it was clean and nice. You do here the planes over head from time to time but hey you could not bet the price so i would say on a scale from 1 to 10 i would give it a five

Had a good experience at the Days Inn--considering what you pay here compared to one bloack down at the Embassy Suites or Hilton Garden, it's definitely a steal. The rooms are clean, the front desk very helpful, and it's an easy walk to the convention center. The only thing to consider is that the aforementioned hotels have free shuttle services downtown […] (about a $20-25 cab ride) and to the hotel (about a $8-10 cab ride) so when factoring in the cost of the hotel keep this in mind. I got a great deal on hotels.com, so the cost of the room plus $50 a day to get to downtown (since that's where all the great food is!) was well worth it. Читати далі

OK motel for the price. Took only 10 minutes to drive to downtown Charleston.

Room was clean and it was nice that they had a microwave and mini-fridge. But the hotel had just two or three other rooms in use besides mine and it wasn't in the best area so it made it a bit scary since I was there by myself. Plus besides airplanes overhead there were trains going through at night.

The drainage system in the bath tube was horrible. While taking a shower, you were standing in water. The toilet lid needed replacing.

overall cleanliness of the room was not good. the beds were comfortable, the free breakfast was unimpressive (i guess i got what i paid for,) the internet service is only hard-wired. broken lamp shades, miniscule bathroom. it's a decent place to sleep, but not much more.... i'll spring for the extra $$ for a better place next time

I arrived late at night. The manager,Stephanie, was very pleasant and helpful. My stay was not long there, but I had a good nights sleep on a comfortable bed in a very clean room. Thank you!

The room was disgusting. The carpet especially had large possibly grease stains on it around the sink area. We stayed when arriving but cancelled with no refund the night before departing.

I booked a 2 bed non smoking room. it was close to highway which made it easy to get into the city. this is the kind of hotel you would book if you are not planning on spending a whole lot of time in it. breakfast was descent. overall it was nice.

Don't know why poor reviews. for the price it was great. Convienent to Tanger Mall. Good neighborhood, Well lit parking. 2 double nonsmoking was a good price. I will stay again. My wife and I go for excursion twice a year for 2 days. free coupon for carriage ride. Can't beat it

The desk clerk Stephanie was awesome. She made our stay a pleasure. Room was very clean. I will stay again.

My husband and my children had a great stay...not only was there a pool, but there was a little play ground area as well as a couple of grills to cook out..the location was convient for us to go shopping at the Tanger Outlet and everything was easy to get to from the hotel.
