The hotel room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly, efficient, and helpful.

The room was a motel 6 quality with a toilet that ran for a long time even if you jiggled the handle which you had to do each time you used it. There was gaping holes all around the door and there was a big chunk of plaster and paint missing on the doorframe. All together a miserable stay and expensive for what you got.

"Not up to usual La Quinta quality"
Not bad, just not good. There are two hooks on the wall facing the toilet. My husband is very tall and during the night (2:15 a.m.) he hit one of the hooks and cut his eyebrow open. I was able to get the bleeding stopped, thank God, since he is on blood thinners! Bad place for pointy hooks.

It was incredibly hard to find. Off the roadway behind several other businesses with no address visible. It took me 3 tries up and down the street to find it. "Easy Freeway access, fine room"
I can recommend the La Quinta Inn of Stockton, Ca. Even though it is located right next to I-5, we had no problem with road noise keeping us awake. The hotel was well cared for, clean and comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was just fine and in a clean cheerful area of the lobby. I don't hesitate to recommend this hotel.

Even though it rained the weekend we visited Stockton, our room was great quiet and restful and the continental breakfast on site was a great way to begin the day.

"not for babies"
The website stated that they had portacribs available for sleeping and I requested one when I booked my reservation. When we arrived at the hotel (at midnight!) the front desk person said that request was not in my reservation (although I had a printed copy that included it) and she wasn't sure if they had them or where they were. Stayed here for 3 night all different times and days, its great! Nice employees, too good of rooms for the price, very worth it, nothing bad to say! Its 10 out of 10 A + pleanty of food attractions in the area

"Fan/Ventilation"
The bathrooms are lacking fan/ventilation system, so the bathroom is very humid after you take a shower, and smelly when you use the toilet. I told the front desk about the probelm they said that it worked differently then your regular fan at home. So then I asked well what kind of fan is it and they said it is a silent fan, okay!! The room on hotels.com said that the rooms had hard wired and non wired Internet. Their was no hard wired connection. I found a cockroach going across the room the first night and killed it. The people were nice but the room was below par.

I had a quick business trip to the area and the one nice thing about La Quinta was it's location (just off I-5). The accomidations were just what I would expect for the price range. The room was plain yet comfortable. The cable selection was limited and pathetic. The shower wall had mold on the grout. Yuck! The bed and pillows were comfortable. I used the fridge. I was skeptical about this hotel at first but after actually getting there my mind was at ease. Great location right next to the 5 freeway. Great choices to eat if hunger strikes. "Better than I expected"
I was in town for a meeting at UOP, and the location was very convenient. I didn't have high expectations, but the room was very large, very clean and quite comfortable. The only issue was the noise. It is right off the freeway, so there was noise from that, and there were quite a few people that liked to have their conversations outside their doors. […] My second night there, a guy decided that the parking lot under my window was a great place to pump up his radio and dance, but I was so tired, I really didn't notice it. Staff does opposite of what u say. Breakfast is not great great small area nothing was worth eating. Should at least have a small refrigerator in room. Vending machines had nothing good in them.
