I had a terrible experience. When I checked in gave the front dest clerk my Credit card for incidentals. The next morning I ordered breakfast from the restaurant to go. As I was leaving to go back to my room the server informed me that they couldn't find a CC on file and that I had to leave my food. I asked if someone would walk up stairs to get payment […] or offered to bring it back down after I eat, as my food was getting cold. We did not get much sleep because of the drunks that kept coming to the 5th floor screaming and making loud noise. We called the front office to ask them to help in this matter. Not sure if they did or not. We will not be staying at your hotel in the future.

Staff very friendly , Clean room and Great Drinks and Flat screen with the game on and WIFI in Lobby. Great Location before leaving for a cruise out of Galveston.. Shuttle drops you off at the right location for your shuttle connection to meet your cruise .

This is an older Doubletree that is currently being renovated. However, the neighborhood around Hobby Airport is not nice. The lobby area looked nice, but when we got to our room it was updated (with some minor updates) and the heater did not work. Additionally, the walls were paper thin. We could hear the entire conversations of the neighbors on both […] side of us. Unforunately for us, it seemed as though both rooms were having parties and were loud all night. Room was remarkably quiet for being so close to the airport. Room needs a little updating but overall very nice.

I love doubletrees. This one is under renovation currently. Good hotel, it was NBA All Star Game weekend, so the whole area was pretty crazy. Great price for the weekend.

I stayed here for a conference I needed to attend. The conference was located on site so it was easier to stay there. Room was a little pricey to NOT include free wifi. Ordered room service for every meal because area hotel is located in is a wee bit scary....that part of Houston is known for crime. However, the room service was above par, food was […] actually quite tasty and appeared freshly made-a little pricey, spent an average of 18 dollars/meal by time gratuitiy and fees were all paid (total for once breakfast, one lunch, and one dinner was 63.00). Room was comfortable, clean.The bathrrom was VERY small-VERY VERY small. And it was loud being right next to the airport with all the air traffic, but they were happy to accomodate me with a box fan for noise reduction. What a god-awful place. Pricey and for what? The bed was comfortable but the TV signal (dish TV) cut out every half hour or so, it was impossible to control the temperature, and I've seen better bathrooms in ferries... Very good - will plan from now on to try to stay at any Hilton hotel for future travel. Bed especially comfortable - pleasantly surprised at the excellency of this hotel vs the low price we paid for the room

Perfect location. Within minutes of airport. The front desk gentleman was awesome wtih accomadating our parking needs. He was also pleasant and knowlegable about the airport and surrounding areas. I will stay there again.

If you need to be close to Hobby to catch a flight this is a great hotel. Has full bar with food service, and the food is good. They have a free shuttle service to the airport. when I arrived at Hobby I only waited a couple of minutes for the shuttle (I think it runs every 15 minutes) and when I departed at 4:30am the next morning the shuttle was running. […] Upon arrival there was only one reservations clerk and six or eight people were checking in. I was third in line so it wasn't too bad for me, but it took quite awhile for some. I waited about 10 minutes to get checked in. The other thing is that they are renovating the hotel. Just like every other Double Tree out there. Also note that this used to be just a "Hilton" and has recently (Nov 8, 2012) changed to a Double Tree. They are in the middle of rennovating the place.

I thought that the hotel might be a little nicer based on what they show online. However, the lobby is really the only thing that's nice.... The rooms seemed pretty standard and for a standard, 2 star, not bad. I suppose that I just expected more out of the Hilton because of it's name. The fact that they charge for wifi was also a bit bothersome!

Very close to Hobby airport. Not too much noise from the planes. Bed very soft so not too comfortable to me. Rollaway same condition, very soft mattress. Room was pretty spacious and enjoyed the breakfast in bed room service option but food was a bit cold whne it arrived. Pool was refreshing and fun with towels provided for guests. No hot tub. Boardwalk Restraunt is expensive and the food was not that good. Cafe for breakfast was ok... nothing to write home about. Staff was great!! Has a nice gift shop.

We only stayed the night before flying out to go home. We arrived very late and left early. Check in was super quick, the beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was good. Shuttle does not pick up from airport late at night, must call a cab which the hotel reimburses

Nice hotel for the rate. My only complaint was the long time it took to check in (after 9 PM). Only one person was working the desk and as it happens 4 guests show up to check in. If I had not been exhausted at the time it would have probably been ok. It was a good place to stay near Hobby Airport and will consider it again when in the area.

The people at the front desk needs more customer service training. She didn't seem as if she wanted to be there. But the room was nice and clean.

The hotel was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The only critisim I have is that the cleaning staff kept knocking on the door though out the morning before our check out time to see if we were leaving. We even had the do not disturb sign out and they still knocked.
