This served all of its purposes, close to the parks, easy on the wallet, and got the stay I expected. Even got an upgraded room.

The rooms in the pictures look a lot better than reality. The hotel has a nice, indoor building of nice hotel rooms, and then a not-so-nice assortment of outdated outdoor entry rooms. We arrived late at night, and were given a room in the farthest back building on the complex. With some questionable people in the parking lot drinking beer and shouting […] at me, I did not feel safe. The keys to the room did not work, so I went back to the desk and asked for a closer room if possible for safety reasons. We got a slight upgrade as a result, but the room is in need of repair. Old bathroom, gross carpet, flickering lighting. There was a random old chest of drawers in the sink area. I had booked this hotel for it's claim to have shuttles to the Disney parks and close location, but learned upon arrival that shuttles to Magic Kingdom were only offered once in the morning at 11:30am. I ended up just driving and paying for Disney parking in order to spend the full day. I would recommend for travelers just to pay a little more per night and stay somewhere cleaner/safer. We stay at the Ramada Gateway frequently and we just love it! The only thing that we wish they could improve upon is WiFi service. It only seems to work in the lobby area. Other than that, we highly recommend this place! A fantastic deal for the money!

It was only a quickie but it was good for me for the price. I can't really speak that much about the hotel because i didn't see much. If It helps you at all I was not displeased for the money I spent and money was extremely tight on this trip

It was good stay. The rooms were ok. It was little old and run down, but you can adjust as we got a good deal. The only complain I had was that WiFi did not reach the room & we had to walk to the lobby when we wanted to access internet. Overall, it was a pleasant stay for a budget stay.

Great place to sleep between parks, not much more than that. No flat screen tv, refrigerator very very small, shuttles only run twice a day.

This is not a resort and that is why there are no resort fees. Very nice place to stay.Two pools, laundry, free shuttles to theme parks,security at entrance to parking,Close to many restaurants.Great value. Have fun, drink lots of water and don`t forget the sun screen.

We enjoyed our stay. We had friends to meet 4 hours after we checked out, so we asked if we could hang out for a while and they said sure. This was also our 2nd stay in 2 months.

i been there twice. first i got a cheap room and then spent $20 more and got a nicer room in the tower. it just depends if you want to be either next to the pool, the parking lot or the nicer rooms in the tower. there is a convenience store and a restraunt on site (buffet breakfast). if you don't want to be awakened at 9am by housekeeping, put up your […] do not disturb sign. there was a hair in my bed in the cheap room i got. it is close to disney world and there is shuttle service to it. It wasn't so great about the room facility because it did not have a microwave, also the water from the sink & shower smell like sewer water it was terrible to brush my teeth and shower with that kind of smell.

I enjoyed my stay and the price was very reasonable. Enjoyed being close to Old Town and enjoyed having the shuttle to Sea World. Staff was OK just not overly friendly.

This hotel was very affordable and yet it was clean and comfortable. I highly reccomend it to people who are on a budget but want something near the attractions. The only complaint I have is that the shuttle to Disney should have a later departure time from the park, I had to miss the fireworks!

went to Orlando for the day decided to spend the night.I booked this hotel at 6 o'clock and checked in at 7 o'clock. hotels.com I felt it wasn't easy quick and inexpensive place just to stay the night.

Althought the rooms did not smell pleasant, for the money, it was a decent stay. The staff was accomodating and courteous. The theme parks are less than 10 minutes away. Many restaurants to choose from. Even Publix was nearby. Would consider staying here again. Too bad free breakfast is not offered. That may be a deal breaker.:-)

Rooms were very old( the ceiling was hanging on top of sink. No Microwave , the staff at the reception took almost hour to complete checkin formalites

The Ramada Gateway is an excellent hotel for the price. Our room, though old, was clean and comfortable. It had a little mini fridge that came in very handy. It would be nice if they added a microwave in the room but hey, I'm not complaining. They have a standard 27" tube TV that worked well and offered three HBO channels as well as the standard cable […] package. They have a very nice courtyard and the pool water was clear though the bottom could stand for a little scrubbing. Things at the Hotel was pleasent, for the exception of 1 of the 2 rooms was musty, carpet was wet. Had very nice setup for all ages. Karaoke in the bar. Nice onsite.resturant and deli. Beautiful pools.

The hotel was in a good location. It is just west of I-4 and World Drive so you are a little away from the craziness of 192. I had seen this hotel many times from the road and noticed the nice big tower, however, my room was in the small mediocre set of buildings behind the tower. The room was big but in all the wrong places. For example, I had a separate […] sitting area and a second TV however, the bathroom was so small that the sink didn't even fit inside of it. Speaking of the bathroom, it smelled of mildew, and was so bad I had to shower with the door open just to bear the smell. Basically, we didn't pay a whole lot, and we didn't get a whole lot. Overall it suited our purposes. There was only one chair in the room; we asked the man at the reception area for a second chair, and after checking with someone in an office, came out and told us it was not possible to have another one. The price was almost too good to be true, but you get what you pay for. The room was musty smelling, really in need of updating and a deep cleaning. Beds were very hard and uncomfortable.

Last minute getaway with the family to the Disney parks. Check in was fast since it was reserved and prepaid online. The hotel is in good conditions, rooms were clean and the hotel is very central to parks, dining and other entertainment. The hotel has a restaurant, bar, gift shop and a pizzeria on the premises which is great to have for a quick late […] night bite after a long day at the parks. Hotel seemed to employ foreigners who couldn't speak English. One maid told me she only knew two words in English. Not sure if they are even legal citizens! Carpet was worn and dirty. Needed changing a few yrs ago. TV old fashioned. Sink leaked. No microwave.

Great location and cool looking hotel like the kind I stayed in as a kid. Has a 80's retro look. Nice pool and near everything at Disney. Will be back!

Stayed at room 245. The condition of the room demands a total renovation . Smelly beds and the condition of the carpet was very unpleasant .
