walking distance to shopping platz n restaurants. the hotel original feel was romantic n charming .. even the slight musty smell added to the mood. room was spacious n comfortable. lots of windows n 2 balconies a plus. will visit again

This is a nice historic hotel located in a very central location in Wiesbaden. The only negative issue is that the air conditioning needs some maintenance, but other than that the hotel is excellent.

It is a very old hotel that has been given an extreme face lift. Bathroom was large and modern. Had two closets, one with a safe. Bed was large as we requested as my husband is tall and room was a No Smoking room. Had a mini bar that had extra room to put our own drinks in. Rooms have a double door system so no hallway noise. Some noise from street […] but Germany won a soccer game in the Euro Cup so cars were racing up and down the street honking horns for about 3/4 hour. OK after that. You might ask for a room away from street side of hotel. Desk people very helpful in giving directions and suggesting where to eat. Hotel restaurant is fancy and expensive, but lots of places to eat in Pedestrian Zone. Parking is limited as it is in center of town. Valet was about what we paid in other city hotels and if they have room or you are leaving soon, they put the car out front in the ten spaces. Otherwise, it goes to a garage and you just let them know ahead of time when you will need it. Since it is about a block to Pedestrian Zone, we walked to most places including the restaurant at the Casino. We had no time to check out the pool or Spa but pictures looked inviting. Читати далі

I stayed in this hotel on Christmas, the hotel was nice, good comfortable and clean room (especially bed), bathrobe and slippers were available (it is nice to use in spa area), towels (face, hand and body) were ok, chargebale mini-bar. Breakfast was nice everyday, the food were tasty and replenished (big choice of meat, beaf, yogghurt, fruits, bread, […] cheese, there were everything to eat good and feel comfortable in the morning). The spa area was ok, the thermal pool was nice and not small. The sauna was ok, but it is typical german common sauna for naked men and women. I will notice some not very nice points: The housekeeper was strange, he put blanket-cover under the bed - i was surprised of it, and open the door by his key when i was in the room. Reception was polite with me but gave wrong information about restaurants in the city, anyway we are all human and it is just mistake. When i arrived there were no bell-man and nobody held my luggage. I think that in generally the hotel is very nice but the price is expensive (according to this negative points) Читати далі

Been here many times over the years. Stayed once around the block at 5 Star Nassauer Hof and liked Radisson much better and it was at least 35% less expensive. Breakfast was excellent with much to chose from. Priced a bit high, but what 4 star hotel isn't high? Great service, very friendly.

I is not my first time in this hotel and I have always enjoyed being there. The place is calm, in the center of Wiesbaden and close to the park. Rooms are quite large, everything you may need is in your room. It is really a well preserved old hotel, really charming; staff is helpful. Wiesbaden is really a very nice city. On the flight to Germany a flight attendant spilled red wine on my pants, the only casual pair I brought with me. When I checked in I asked if I could get them laundered, and within two hours they were back in my room with no trace of red wine stain. Other, more ordinary service opportunities were not as well-served, but this stood out for me.

I stay in Wiesbaden for business several times per year, and cannot seem to find reasons why not to stay at the Radisson Blu Schwarzer Bock Hotel. Wonderful breakfast opened exactly on time or earlier every day, rooms are immaculately maintained and cleaned, central location to all restaurants and bars. Great service.... amazing place.

Beautiful hotel in Weisbaden. Close to dining, shopping, park, etc. Large spacious room with all of the amenities. A 5 star hotel for sure!

I was very disappointed with this hotel. When I arrived I was offered an upgrade for a further fee. I viewed both rooms, and stuck with my original booking. However the room was dreadful, aircon didn't work, overlooking a generator or something. They did move me to a better room the next day, but the hotel was virtually empty, and I suspect I was given […] this room to persuade me to upgrade. The first night was horrible as the heat did not work and the room had large windows and a balcony. I imagine this room would be more accommodating in the spring when the windows and balcony would be of use but it was extremely cold outside and the thin panes and non-weathered doors to the balcony allowed us to feel this. It was warmer in the hallways! […] The staff supplied a roll away radiator the following day which made the room warm by the the second night but made it really dry as well. The spa was quite relaxing. It wasn't very crowded and we found lounge chairs available. It stayed open until 10pm which was also convenient. We decided to stay 2 more days despite the heat issue that was never resolved mainly due to the spa and the location of the hotel to the sights, shopping and other thermal bath. This was our mistake. The weekenders came and apparently the staff could not handle this. Our room wasn't cleaned or replenished and the spa wasn't either. There were no clean towels to use and the lounge chairs although seemingly vacant were not cleaned. The pool was crowded as was the sauna and steam bath. None of the showers had soap. The worst was the questionable cesspool odor emitted from the restaurant during breakfast. We chose outside establishments to eat the rest of our stay. Читати далі

Very helpful reception staff with fluent English spoken. Overall impression was a bit institutional and although grand its glory is faded. Breakfast would have been extortionate but there's a very good baker/cafe opposite.

The room that had been allocated to us had not been cleaned. Bed was made but linen had obviously not been changed. A used soap was sitting next to the sink and a bunch of old newspapers was laying on the desk. When we informed Front Desk, they were very apologetic and immediately gave us another and better room. Hotel bar (on a Friday night) was staffed […] with only one bartender who was totally run off his feet as the bar was packed. One support man arrived eventually but it still took 45 min to get a glass of wine. There were no drink menus available as they had run out. It is a very nice and traditional hotel and it is a shame that it does not get the marks it should. The location is perfect as it is right in the centre and everything is in walking distance. The hotel stay included everthing the frequent traveler request. The valet parking works fine, the rooms are nice, the staff is friendly, and the placement of the hotel is very nice in Wiesbaden. This hotel is nothing "special", but it will not disappoint you, instead you will find it worth the cost, comfortable, and you will leave with a smile.

Tolle Architektur, aber sonst nagt an allem der Zahn der Zeit. Die Zimmer sind leider nicht auf modernstem Standard und am Frühstücksbuffett könnte auch noch gearbeitet werden. 2部屋予約しましたが、1部屋はビジネスホテル並みの広さで、バスタブ無し。もう1部屋はまずまずでしたが、少々嫌な匂いがありましたが、これで同じ料金は納得できない。 チェックイン時に荷物を運びましょうか？との問いかけがありましたが、遠慮したところ、階段を下りたり、登ったりしないと辿り着けません。こんな場所と分かっていたらもちろん頼んでいます。 途中の絨毯は破れていたり、これで5星のホテルとはとても思えません。 夜、スパに行きましたが、小さな子供連れの家族がプールで遊んでいる状態で正に無法地帯。確か入場は16歳以上のはず。早々に引き揚げました。管理者不在は如何なものか。

Das Hotel macht einen etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Eindruck ist aber generell ok. Die Fußgängerzone beginnt unmittelbar am Hotel. Somit sind viele Restaurants und Lokale zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Spa-Bereich im Keller des Hotels ist im Gegensatz zum Hotelflur und den Zimmern recht modern in das alte Gemäuer integriert. Empfangsbereich gleicht einer Theaterabendkasse, Hotel sowohl äußerlich als auch die Zimmer in die Jahre gekommen. Service macht freundlich seine Arbeit, aber auch nicht mehr. Ansonsten in sehr schöner und zentraler Lage in Wiesbaden. Betten bequem. Frühstücksbuffet nicht herausragend, aber on Ordnung.

ein traditionsreiches Hotel mit moderner Einrichtung und excellentem Service bei moderaten Preisen. Große Zimmer mit bequemen Betten und modernem Bad. Sehr eindrucksvolle Räume für Bäder, Sauna und Massagen. Zentral gelegen, Kurpark und Wilhelmstraße und die vielen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants sind zu Fuss erreichbar. Sehr empfehlenswert !

Altes ehrwürdiges Hotel an zentraler Lage, direkt am Beginn der Fussgängerzone. Kein 5 Sterne Haus, aber Preis/Leistung stimmt. Korrektes Personal aber keine Freundlichkeit/Herzlichkeit. Keine Hilfe beim Gepäck etc.

Sehr gute Lage unmittelbar am Rand der Fußgängerzone, in der Nähe verschiedener Sehenswürdigkeiten, u.a. ist auch das Casino in Laufreichweite. Sehr schöner Wellnessbereich mit Thermalwasserpool, Sauna und Dampfbad. Leider ist der Rest des Hotels z.T. ziemlich renovierungsbedürftig. Fint hotell med sentral beliggenhet. Følte at vi ble sett litt rart på når vi ankom med sykkel vesker i sykkel tights. SPA fasilitetene var flotte, men massasjen er ikke verd pengene. Aroma massasje, som normalt gis på hele kroppen, var rygg, nakke, armer og legger. Resten ble utelatt, og massøren virket uerfaren og usikker. Badstue og dampbad var flott […] innredet, og hadde egne dusjer og kaldvanns rom. Fasilitetene er felles for begge kjønn, som det som oftest er i Tyskland. Kjekkt å kunne være sammen med ektefelle. Man får utlevert badekåpe, tøfler og to håndlær. Et til å tørke seg med, og et til badstue/dampbad. Tysk SPA-etikette sier at man skal være naken, og håndkleet skal være under deg og dekke alle områder hvor det kan tenkes å dryppe svette. Vi opplevde at gjester som "lurte" seg inn med badetøy på, ble tilsnakket og bedt om å kle av seg, eller forlate badstuen. Sånt setter vi pris på. Читати далі

Bei der Abwicklung über Hotel com lief alles reibungslos. Ich wurde voher noch mal erinnert und habe einen Wetterbericht zugeschickt bekommen mit weiteren Tipps. Das Hotel selber ist sehr angenehm. Besonders zu betonen ist, dass die Therme im Hotel und der Wellnessbereich für Hotelgäste kostenlos ist. Die Hotelbar war geschlossen, was bei einem Hotel […] dieser Größenordnung unverständlich ist. Dieses Hotel scheint insbesondere von ausländischen Touristen frequentiert zu werden - und vielleicht ist das ja der Grund, dass man meint, man müsse sich nicht um den Hotelgast kümmern.... Im Zimmer roch es muffelig, beim Öffnen des Fensters sah man auf einen maroden Holzrahmen und von dort in einen tristen ungepflegten Innenhof. Passend zur Einzelzimmernutzung […] gab es genau abgezählt Handtücher, Tees und löslichen Kaffee - und kein bisschen mehr. Zwei Zimmerlampen waren kaputt, tatsächlich wurde die Nachttischleuchte umgehend repariert, die andere hingegen bis zum Ende nicht. Die Frage nach einem Stadtplan wurde verneint, die seien ausgegangen (komisch nur, dass in nahen Geschäften welche auslagen!). Beim Auschecken wurde der Zimmerschlüssel kommentarlos entgegengenommen, nichtmals ein "Auf Wiedersehen" kam der Rezeptionistin über die Lippen. Fazit: ein - eigentlich - beeindruckendes Ambiente, das an frühere Zeiten erinnert, aber definitiv vergangene Pracht, die einen mit dem Gefühl zurücklässt, dass dieses Hotel den Anschluss an heutige Ansprüche verpasst hat. Sehr freundlich, neuer Wellnessbereich mit Thermalwasser mitten in der Stadt. Hotel mit Charme und Klasse. Keine Neubauschachtel, vielleiche manchmal kitschig, aber sehr originell. Am Frühstücksbuffet ließe sich noch arbeiten, aber es gab alle warmen Speisen frisch auf Nachfrage. Kaffee sehr gut.
