The price is not high, but you can get the more you pay. The room is tiny. The balcony is good too. You can enjoy a nice breakfast in the balcony. You can also boil water in your room. The location is also good. Not far away from Railway Station and it just locate at the main shopping road. It's also close to the beach.

In Nice there is a lot of 3 star hotel, some of them are much better than Clarion Aston hotel, İf the TV has broken down and have to wait elevator 3-5 minutes and your room's window look to old and dirty walls, this is not 4 star hotel for me. Bad value for the price.

"Centrally located for a short break in Nice"
We stayed for a weekend in October 2011 and the hotel was better than we expected (we had stayed once before and not been very impressed but the hotel had been updated since). We stayed in a superior (White) room which was very nice to look at but cold to be in - ceramic tiles not carpet and heating that didn't heat no matter what. We used the heated […] towel rail for heat - and this did work well. Location is superb for exploring Nice as you are in between the main shopping street and the Old Town. For the price we paid I'd stay there again but I wouldn't pay the full rate. We didn't try breakfast as we had found it poor and pricey the last time we stayed - it may be much better now but there is nothing to beat coffee and a croissant in the sunshine in the Old Town Читати далі

The location of the hotel is very convenient, however, the service of the hotel was so poor. They did clean the room everyday, but they didn't refill the amenities like shampoo and shower gel. And when we asked for it, they just give us the shampoo and shower gel that had been used by someone. Just can't believe we got this kind of service when they […] claimed their hotel as four stars. Our friend keeps complaining about the connection of the WiFi in her room, they keep saying that they will sent someone to handle it, but none show up. "Excellent Location- Great Value"
This hotel is perfectly located in Nice. It's a short walk to the beach, to the old town and to the newer shopping areas. It's also incredibly close to the inexpensive buses that can take you to Monaco or the Airport. I traveled here alone for the weekend and felt completely safe at all times. "NOT IMPRESSED"
No tea/coffee arrangements, No safe, We had to ask for the towels, Room too small, Decor not very impressive, Aircon not very good. Overall i guess it did not meet the 4 star ratings it should meet.

We were 'upgraded to a superior room' upon arrival, which was nice, as that's what we had booked online in advance. Hotel rooms in Nice, and France generally, are small but the superior room here was fine. We had a good-sized balcony with a view of the fountains and Place Massena and also of the Mediteranean, not front-line but down by Avenue de Verdun. This […] hotel has a nice (but very small !) pool and sun-bathing area on the roof and a decent restaurant. Breakfast is a little pricey at €22 but that seems to be normal in the area. There are planty of small places nearby where you can eat cheaply. The room was well-equipped but had no iron, and they won't loan you one. We used the dry cleaning services and were unhappy with the results. My wife's trousers came back a different size than they started off and when she brought this up with house-keeping received little more than a French shrug of the shoulders. Conclusion: bring a travel iron if it's important to you. In summary, this is a decent hetel and, all in all, we enjoyed our stay. I would be happy to recommend the superior room in this hotel. "Would stay again"
Apart from being kept waiting for 45 minutes beyond the room available time of 3.00 pm and one of the cleaners having left cigarette ash in the bidet we did enjoy our stay and would recommend this hotel. The location is ideal for both visiting the old town or shopping in the main shopping area. It is also only a short walk to the bus station.

Hotellet største fordel er nærhet til sentrale deler av Nice. Det er gangavstand til Gamlebyen og til strandpromenade. I ettertid ser vi at sentralitet var vesentlig for at oppholdet ble så bra. Hotellet fremstår som rent og pent. Hyggelig betjening. Rommene var gode og moderne og for vår del med utsikt mot sentrale bystrøk i sør. Ulempen med rombeliggenheten […] var endel trafikkstøy, også på nattestid. Takterassen som Hotellet selv fremhever meget positivt på sine hjemmesider, var stengt for rehabilitering. Frokost er heller ikke inkludert i oppholdet. Vi valgte stort sett å spise frokost på uterestauranter i Gamlebyen, hvilket var et mye bedre alternaitivt. Kirjautuessa piti kinastella kuuluuko aamiainen hintaan. Tämä ei käynyt ilmi Hotels.com varaustiedon printtauksista. Hissien (KONE) toiminnassa toivomisen varaa, onko huollettu asianmukaisesti. Huoneen jääkaappi lämmin eikä korjattu vaikka luvattiin. Suihkun seinäpidike viallinen. Hotellin sijainti oli hyvä ja henkilökunta OK.

Meget bra beliggenhet i forhold til strand, handlegater og gamlebyen. Hotellet har blitt renovert, men ikke hele hotellet, og vi ble plassert i de gamle rommene som var litt slitne. Flott hotellbar i toppetasjen hvor man ser utover gamlebyen og havet.

a la vue du prix des chambres on s'attendrait a un autre standing et une autre categorie. La salle de bain était défraichie ainsi que les toilettes. La chambre était propre. Le buffet du petit déjeuner très bien. Il est vrai qu'il a une bonne situation vis à vis du centre ville. Ainsi pas besoin de prendre la voiture pour se déplacer. "billig og bra"
Rommet var lite, men brede senger. Aircondition bråkte så vi slo den på laveste. Ta med sov i ro. Dynene var veldig syntetiske og varme i oktober. Stort bad. Beliggenheten var super med en park der vi spiste baguetter/kaffe til frokost, kjøpt på gaten. Hotellet ligger nærme stranden der vi fikk rabatt på liggestoler. 물론 예약 완불로 조금 싸게 간 곳이지만 객실이 그다지 좋은 방은 아니였던 듯.. 시설은 오래된 듯 하나 깨끗한편임 원래 외국 호텔은 그런지 모르겠지만 이것 저것 문의하면 프런트로 와서 직접 받아 가라, 식당에서 와인따개를 직접 빌려라 는 등 직접적인 서비스는 해 주지 않았음.
tres bel hotel, entre le vieux nice, la plage et en pleine ville. Belle vue depuis le toit et petite piscine tres agréable. chambre moderne et propre...télé pas au top pour les épileptiques (image qui bouge et lumieres agressives) mais celui qui passe sa journée à regarder la télé passera des vancances pourries. j'y retournerai.

Vi bodde 3 nätter på Aston och valet av hotell är något som vi absolut inte ångrar. Otroligt trevlig personal som även var duktiga på engelska. Hotellets läge tycker vi var helt perfekt, ett par hundra meter till både gamla stan, shopping och rikt restaurang utbud. Vi fick ett rum mot innergården som kanske inte hade den roligaste utsikten men vi […] såg det mer som en fördel att inte ha fönster ut mot gatan. Rummet städades varje dag och det fans inte något att klaga på. Vi bokade även frukost på rummet som levde upp till våra förväntningar. Även Astons restaurang på kvällen ger vi väldigt gott betyg. Vi kommer att återvända till Nice och till detta hotell och rekommendera det till våra vänner. Читати далі

Situation exceptionnelle au centre de la ville et au bord de la mer. Nous avions demandé une chambre au calme mais même avec le double vitrage des chambres rénovées, le bruit de la rue est important. Il est préférable de demander une chambre donnant sur l'arrière. Petit déjeuner très cher

"Clarion Hotel Aston - sentral beliggenhet"
Et flott hotell med god service, hotellet ligger sentralt ved parken. Man er i nærheten av både shopping, strand, gamlebyen og utelivet. Lite støy rundt hotellet. Alt i alt hadde vi en kjempe god opplevelse.

Et dejligt hotel og meget centralt placeret. Dog lige to minusser: - elevator logistikken fungerede ikke særlig godt, de fleste dage valgte vi at tage trappen, når vi skulle ned, da det tog meget lang tid for de to elevatorer at få det til at passe med "kaldene". - Den ene af bartenderne på tagterassen var meget larmende (læs højt snakkende) og kunne […] ikke finde ud af at mixe ugens drink !!! Forslog en anden han kendte, som dog smagte udemærket :-) Men et supert hotel, som vi bestemt vil huske til en anden gang i Nice. Og vi kan klart anbefale at tage hotellets morgenmads buffet, som var meget lækkert, og man kunne spise til man var mæt for en rimelig pris set i forhold til, hvad man fik på cafeerne ude i byen. "Centralt beliggende og med god service"
Hyggeligt hotel med god beliggenhed. Kun få meters gang, og man står midt i den gamle bydel. Desuden fantastisk service, grundig rengøring og venligt personale. Som prikken over I'et, har alle værelser udsigt til byen.

"Perfekt hotel i midten af Nice"
Dette er et virkeligt dejligt hotel, med en super placering midt i Nice. Alt findes lige udenfor døren. Hotellet har en tagterrasse med pool som frit kan benyttes og udsigten herfra er fantastisk. Der er gratis wifi på værelset. Personalet var meget venlige og hjælpsomme. Parkeringsgarage findes i nærheden ( ikke hotellets egen).

Hotellet ligger fint til i gangavstand fra både shoping og strand. Stor park rett utenfor døren der det hele tiden foregår noe (OBS ; mye støy fra musikk og høyttalere. Fint basseng & liten bar på taket, men desverre trekk for treeeeg service. 1/2 time for å få en cola og 50 min ventetid på badehåndklær er for dårlig. Dessuten hadde de ikke the ! Da […] jeg anmodet om at det skulle fremskaffes theposer fra kjøkkenet svarte kelneren kun "impossible". Jeg ringte selv resepsjonen og sannelig kom det theposer i løpet av 5 min ! In general a good hotel with nice staff, good room cleaning, etc. However Elvators/Lifts are a real problem. To small, to slow, to hot. Breakfast could use some quality check. rotten fruit, empty bowls and lack of constant cleaning in peak hours. Ett utmärkt hotell som ligger nära till allt i Nice , havet, gamla staden , shoping Trevliga rum , rent och snyggt

"Flotte, men litt små rom"
Ingenting å si på beliggenhet, veldig bra og kort vei til stranden. Vi fikk et rom bort fra gaten så det var lite støy. Rommet var veldig pent og godt renholdt. Frokosten ble inntatt på byen :). Hotellet kan anbefales og kommer gjerne igjen hit.

angekommen im Aston, wurde wir abends um 17.00h zum Zimmerbezug per 19.30h vertröstet...um 19.30h nochmals weiter und um 20.20h konnten wir doch endlich unser Zimmer, welches angeblich einen technischen Defekt hatte...nähere Auskünfte wollte man uns partout NICHT geben. Ich denke es war ua die Klimaanlage, am 2. Tag ging jene nämlich wieder NICHT mehr. […] Sonst war eigentlich soweit alles ok, die eine Receptionistin NICHT sehr kompetent und das Frühstück überhaupt KEINE 20EUR/Pers. wert. Читати далі
