Overall, this is a nice hotel. The service was good, they even accommodated our 8:00 am check in. The only problems were that they advertise an indoor pool but don't actually have one. Also, the beds are quite hard. My husband and I both woke up sore in the morning. Great note, and was really impressed by the staff and cleanliness of the hotel. The room and bathroom were incredible. Highlight was definitely the club room on the 10th floor. Staff there were very efficient and obliging. Job well done

I had a wonderful stay at the Radison during Eid Mubarak. The staff was helpful and polite. All questions were quickly answered by the immediate staff. There was no "Let me find out for you" and of course "no answer". The breakfast buffet has a variety of foods for one to eat. I had an awesome stay and I would definitely go back.

I travelled with my 5 year old daughter and arrived in the evening at the hotel - around 7p.m.They did not greet me at the entrance, nobody offered to take my substantially heavy suitcase - we stayed 3 nights there - and the check-in receptionist was not interested in us i.e., no welcoming phrases, not interested in answering my queries. The overall […] mood was "uninterested and impersonal". I also had to wheel my suitcase myself to the room. (I cannot imagine bellboys at Hilton or Hyatt or other 4 / 5 star-hotels allowing a lady travelling with her young daughter doing that!) The next morning at breakfast we got another 'surprise'. The waiting staff were not interested to serve us, take our room number upon arrival, offer drink, clear our table, etc. My husband helped to ring the GM who was very helpful. He, along with a Duty Manager spoke to me at length which I appreciated. There was a slight improvement after that but I felt that it is a shame when the GM tries so hard to make the hotel worthy of all its stars, some members of staff were just not up to par. We had lunch at the Kontiki restaurant there the next day and again the service was very lukewarm and half-hearted and food took ages to come even though it was quiet. It's a real shame, although the girls at the Ladies Spa were excellent. PS: The new City Centre Mall is great for food. Just down the road from the hotel, and taxi fares there cost between 2 to 3BD. I liked the room, service, Internet/WiFi access, cleanliness, amenities and staff. The location was central to all main areas.

I visited this hotel in December 2011 for a four day business trip. There was a lot of building work going on in the area surrounding the hotel but apart from not being very pleasing cosmetically it caused no problems at all with my stay. The staff were polite and helpful throughout including check-in and bar / pool areas. The room service food was […] very good and quite quick as well. I stayed in a one-bed apartment which was very clean and well maintained. The room was cleaned to a high standard and linen was changed on a daily basis, there is an evening turn down service included as well. The wireless in the hotel was included in the Expedia price and was quick and reliable and easily accessed by entering your room number and last name. All in all a very nice experience and I would both recommend and stay in this hotel again. Читати далі

I was dissappointed to find that what was listed in the room amenities was not true. There was no hand held shower head, no DVD player, No sewing kit, no in room massage, no ceiling fan, no jetted bathtub. I paid a higher price because some of these amenities and it wasn't worth it.

Awesome room, great breakfast, but no parking and had some construction noise. However, this was during the day only. They are renovating the grounds, and parking was a nightmare.

was a great hotel, quick to check in, great restaurants, nice business centre to go onto the internet, very nice pool, everything was spot on, the rooms were a little dated but nice all the same. I go to Bahrain every 3 months, and have always stayed in the novatel, next time, i think I will stay at the Diplomat instead.
