The staff and ammenities of the hotel were impeccable! We felt as if we were at home the whole stay, the staff deserves All of the credit for that. Wonderful hotel.

It was a nice stay.

It was very nice. The people there were very nice My daughter and I went there to just relax and go shopping. It worked out very nice.

I was very comfortable in my room. The Staff were friendly and helpful. Be mindful of the nearby railroad crossing. A little noisy at times because of this.

Although this location is up to the Days Inn standard in most ways, the smell of smoke within the building was miserable. I noticed it in the hallway to the room, and then even within the room smoke could be smelled during the night. Not acceptable. Management says they are aware and will work on the issue. It is just something to be aware of.

The hotel was so dirty. Our toilet broke at 12am and we had to pack up and switch rooms. The person on duty gave us a plunger instead of coming in and trying to fix it himself. I will never stay at a Days Inn again because of this experience.

The Days Inn in Sioux City Iowa advertizes a heated pool and hot tub. A slightly rumpled note at the front desk advises that the hot tub is broken and being repaired. During a 3 day stay, NO workmen were ever seen. The pool itself is very small and just barely "heated"-84 degrees is what the motel claims. nice double sized room with a kitchenette area and 2 additional sinks. Lots of room for a family of 6 plus 2 dogs

This hotel was clean, comfortable and affordable. The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The biggest thing I would like to see added, is more of a variety for the breakfast. We stayed several days and I got kind of tired of the same old danish and waffles.

As I was walking in with my luggage @ 10pm, the front desk attendant passed me and went on her smoking break. After I waited over 10min I finally found a small card with her contact number at which she told me she was on break, when she finally finished her break she finally came in to help me. She checked me in with no apology. When I got up to my […] room after working 15hrs. . . one of the beds was stained from what looked to be a fecal accident and the bathroom grout was growing mold. I was so tired that I took the cleaner of the two beds and crashed. A few hours later the a/c started screaming due to loose bearings, shortly after that the fridge compressor joined in the squealing chorus. As other people have mentioned there are several trains that go through daily and can be heard as if they're in the parking lot. I am in town working at BPI and have told everyone there, including management not to have anyone stay here unless they don't like them! Excellent, walking distance to restaurants, very convenient to airport. Free cab to casino!!!

We were in town for one night and did not check in until 11 pm, so we were really only there to sleep. Check-in was fast, room was cool due to AC being on which was nice after being out in the sun all day (Saturday in the Park), room was quiet and also pretty clean. We've stayed in several different hotels but this is the first time I have had such excellent service from the front desk. Our clerk was polite, funny and very helpful. All we had to do was ask and she would find a way to help! The room was clean with the exception of the window glass and the fronts of the fridge and microwave. booked a 2 queen beds and got "upgraded" to a king suite with a pull out sofa for 5 people. Pulled out sofa bed and it was broken sat at 45 degree angle. Phone was broken to call down to front desk, recliner in room for extra person to sleep was broken! Light in bath room could not be turned on unless you wanted to hear what sounded like a siren going […] on all night. Cont. breakfast was GROSS! Even my kids wouldn't eat it. Complained to front desk after arguing for 20 mins new owner finally decided to give me 40% off one nights stay. No soap in any of the public bathrooms, it was reported and never filled! Читати далі

Overall hallways smelled of strong smoke. We had to switch rooms, due to smell of smoke in the room. We were in a non smoking room and according to front desk smoking was on other side of building. the new room which was only across the hall and a couple rooms down. Their breakfast in lobby was the worst every seen.

Beds and bedding were super-comfortable. Shower worked well. My only complaint was that we paid for a non-smoking room, we were required to sign a form stating we would not smoke in the room (or risk a fine); yet, the bathroom smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. We notified the front desk that the smell in there wasn't from us; they were aware that […] a long-staying guest in the room above us smoked and it came through the vent. We kept the door closed while we were there, but while in the bathroom, it was very overpowering. We were too tired to want to move to another room (they did offer us that). The rooms where nice/clean and the bed was comfy after a long drive. The rooms were quiet. I can't complain. I loved the make your own waffle station- always a hit!

Hotel was very outdated. I didn't feel comfortable walking without shoes on either in the room or to the pool. Heater in room worked but had slats falling off & looked ancient. Pool was a great temperature as was the hot tub but again, it didn't look great. It had a stainless steel base (appeared to) and there was rust everywhere along the rim of the […] pool. If you're looking for a cheap room for the night it will fit the bill but don't expect anything great. The breakfast was very poor also. I was able to get two rooms for my family of eight at an extremely affordable rate, which was awesome because we were only in town overnight due to our attending a concert. Hotel staff was very friendly, room was comfortable. Pool area was too hot and not very clean, but we didn't have time to use it anyways. We were given a better rate when we checked in than what was posted on the internet, so that was a bonus. Good stop for the price.

The room was clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. It's close to the interstate and shopping mall, so it was very convenient.

Easy to find. Fast Food restaurant closeby. City has many chain restaurants. Motel was quiet. Spa was not available. Breakfast was better than some.

The hotel was very quiet. When I arrived at the hotel we were greeted nicely. The only problem I have is that when we got to our rooms there was only one double bed in one room and we had requested two. My two college boys had to sleep together. Thank you! Jackie

I noticed in previous reviews that other people were not satisfied with the front desk staff. However, when we stayed at this hotel the front desk staff was VERY friendly. They treated us and my children very nicely. We will definately be back to stay at this hotel.

The phone in the room rang 3 1/2 times every hour all night long--like a wake up call, but the phones were "Down" and not working. The time on the clock flashed constantly, as did the fire extinguisher above my bed. Let's just say--we had no sleep at all. We told the front desk and they did nothing--except ask us why we didn't' unplug the phone. Well, […] it was the middle of the night and a little punch--and didn't think of it until 6:00 am--where it had already been waking us up for 6 hours. The staff at the front desk definitely needs improvement. When we arrived she was on her cell phone and did not get off. We waited 10-15 minutes and she finally laid the cell phone down to help us check-in. The hotel is easy to get to. The room was comfortable and quiet. I like the fact that there are restaurants and shopping close by. The pool area […] needs attention. The breakfast goes way too fast. There seem to be a few that eat it all. the rooms were decent but the front desk wasn't the most helpful and the complimentary breakfast runs out well before the ending time; the pool area definately needs alot of attention and a good cleaning. there was a ring around both the pool and the hot tub and the walls were moldy and falling apart from the moisture.

Very Clean hotel. Free Breakfast was satifactory. If using a GPS it may send yoy the wrong way do to the fact that it is a new hotel. Hotel is about a half mile south of interstate 90 on rt 16. Do not head north on 16.
