The transportation to this motel is very convenient by just using the courtesy phone in the LAX airport when we arrived. The motel itself is nice and decent and worth its price. I was afraid that the noise of airplanes would be disturbing. Happily it was not. The continental breakfast and the restaurant are not bad either.

Visited Shelter in May 2010, the rooms are big and clean, in a reasonable price. The room is simple in a stylish way, quite comfortable. King size bed is good, you can get a good sleep there. It is in the Korean Town, located in the city. Location is quite convenient. Hotel provides free parking space at ground floor. The staff is friendly. It's a good place to stay in LA.

Located in high class beautiful Beverly Hill area. Walking distance to Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hill residential area. Very convenient and quiet. A small hotel with no lift or elevator to go upstairs, so have to carry luggage to the second floor. The staff are very helpful and nice. Facilities are basic but neat. Breakfast is basic. A little bit expensive but the location worths it. It is quite good as a last stop to relax and walk around, or to drive to anywhere. Bus stops are available outside the hotel going to Santa Monica or Hollywood area too.

Don't be fooled by the brand "Sheraton"--it's not. But if you can somehow sign up on the Internet to get a deal 60% of the real Sheraton, I wouldn't complain. it's close to the airport, with a nice shuttle service to LAX, but you have to be content with the Burger King nearby, because that is not only eating place within walking distance. I had dinner, and breakfast, and mostly the time i had the place to myself. Otherwise you need to shell pout 16 bucks for breakfast.

The first day I checked in someone went into my room and stole my jewerl out of my room. I had to file a police report and the Hotel has never attempted to follow up with me regadring this matter. I would never stay here again.
Convenient-great for a day or two-very thin walls..

Returning back to South Bay to visit family is always great. Having a hotel that was easy to find, easy to get to and relaxing is even better. Their breakfast was nice if you arent up and running all the time.
Hotel had great service and the room was very comfortable.

I have stayed here several times in the past year. As long as you know what you can expect then you will not be dissappointed. This is a clean place to sleep, no extras, the free breakfast is what you would expect from a lower end hotel. Just continental. I stay here as the price is usually reasonable and the location is great. Close enough to the beaches, […] but not at the beach hotel prices. Plenty of shopping, entertainment and eateries are around this location. Overall a clean, cheap place to stay for a weekend getaway. Just don't expect extras. My room has bugs. I had to contact the front desk to get a spider out of the room. Subsequently, I turned on the light fixture by the sink and dead bugs dropped out. Additionally, live bugs came out. This hotel location is so convenient. Surrounding restaurants are in walking distance and great food. Across the street is the Del Amo Mall which is pretty big and very clean. Love this place.

The room felt really dingy! The carpet needs cleaning. It was ok for a one night stay. I checked into a new hotel the next day. Location was convenient.

The hotel is nice, the front desk manager/staff was friendly. Our room was at far corner so thw wifi was not as strong as we would like it. Overall pleasant short stay in LA.

"comfortable and convienient"
the staff was very nice. breakfast was enough to where you weren't hungery, good start for the day. the king size bed was surprisingly comfortable. the fridge in the room was almost too cold. we would stay there again.

Hotel staffs were extremely friendly throughout and the surrounding area was quiet and felt safe. Parking was a bit of a problem especially late at night, but security cameras were installed around the parking lot. I felt that the bed should be cleaner. I broke out with rash looking things on my right arm the first night and on both arms the next night. […] I am not allergic to food, which I thought where the rash came from originally. Dear Hotels dot com, 5-10-11 my wife and I got this simple room in the middle of Torrance to be close to her nephew, who showed us all around. It seemed relatively safe, even though we were close to our relative ....ha, ha... The bed had two pillows and we asked for more but, didn't get till the 3rd night. The bathroom sink had some mold but, was ok. […] I liked the bathroom, especially the heat lamp! Took the $1 local bus from LAX it stopped very close to hotel. Room was large and quiet and all amenities, breakfast was adequate and inc in room rate Very close to Del Amo shopping mall so walked over there. Would recommend.Pleasant reception staff.
"Better than expected"
The hotel staff was all very friendly and accommodating. The rooms did not have lotion but when I requested it, the delivered some to my room within moments. I was just sad that I couldn't bring my breakfast into the room.

Everything was good: registration, parking, elevator, room - a little dark - but in general very good room size, excelent bath - just shower - but the size was great, with fridge and coffee maker. Very clean everything. Reasonable buffet breakfast including waffles. Very helpfull and efficient front desk staff. The hotel is close to shopping: Loehmann's, […] Marshalls, Ross Dress for Less, Sears Outlet and Del Amo Shopping Center, among dozens of other stores. The room was clean enough, but very dated. Some peeling paint and wall paper. The bed was comfortable but they only give you two pillows for a king size bed, so be sure to ask for more at check in. Location is very […] close to restaurants, stores etc. Our real complaint lies in the fact that we were kept awake by a party that was going on in the hotel room a few doors down from ours. The police came and the offending partiers were escorted out (not quietly). We had a really early day the next day and got very little sleep as things didn't settle down until 2:00 AM. The next morning when we called to see about getting a late check out for we were advised that we'd have to pay a 'half day rate' of more than we paid for a full night. "Hotel location is OK"
The hotel front building looks ok. Front desk people are nice. Room is clean. There is no wireless in room. People have to go to labby to connect wireless. I paid the money in hotels.com. The hotel charged me $50 for no reason. I called them when I come back to MN. They promised to refund the money to my credi card within one or two days. Two queen beds each had 2 flat pillows. When we asked for more, employee at desk said it would be a long wait ...he was alone. Blowdryer was burned out, black around power button too. Regular light did not work in bathroom...only the heatlamo worked. Grat location, next to Del Almo Mall.

"I won't go again, but this is OKAY if brief stay"
We really just needed a few hrs rest and I know this area so was not afraid of seedy location (it is not); if you can swing the Residence Inn right next door, do that for this location. This hotel is NOT for long term. It is basic to the max and breakfast is sub-par. I paid too much- if you get a really really low rate and need a crash pad for one night […] then ok. No bugs and beds not too hard for me or my little daughter. This is not a hotel for a vacation stay and you are pretty far from the beach. If you want Redondo Beaches then go to Best Western on PCH if a good rate or try the Crowne Plaza (pricey). This HJ is cement-ville. Читати далі

needed more towels than two they gave you was told they can't get them till shift changes at 10pm. thought I lost my key card ask for a new one so I can get back into my room to look for it they sent someone up to let me in

"Just OK"
Checked in and my bathroom vanity light did not work. Called front desk to have them repair, and there was no maintenance person until morning. Desk attendant did not offer to move rooms (nor did I ask). Also the elevator door would not stay closed (thus was broken and I had to use stairs)...This also could not be repaired until next morning. I am […] not too picky, so these issues did not bother me too much, but maintenance may be important to others. Only stayed one night, so it could have been just bad luck. "Good room for the money and location"
Good moderate hotel. Better than 2 star rating. Clean room, good houskeeping. Good lcoation for restaurants, shopping, movies. Godo neighborhood, safe parking.

"Good Buy for location"
The hotel is what I expected, it was a nice comfortable and very clean room. The walls are a little thin and I could hear the shower going in the room next to me, but that is really my only complaint. I was in the area and needed a room only to sleep in and I did not want to pay a beach price for a clean room. Hôtel que je voulais essayer pour sa localité intéressante mais plus jamais j'y retournerais. Hôtel très vieux, propreté générale très contestable et service peu conciliant.

治安が比較的良いトーランスですが、ホテルの部屋の前までは外部の方が誰でも侵入出来ます。そのドアも頑丈には見えないので女性にはおススメしません。その他の環境については車を所有していれば非常に便利な地域と思います。

El hotel aguanta para las necesidades de un turista, sin embargo la conexión wi fi es muy mala en las habitaciones. Por otra parte, las instalaciones se observan un poco deteriorada, como si le faltara algo de mantenimiento.

この金額にしては、思っていたよりサービスが良かったです。朝食は含まれないとありましたが、ワッフル・マフィン・シリアルや、コーヒー・ジュースとしっかりしたものがいただけたので、とても良かったです。 ただひとつ「インターネットアクセスあり」と表示がありますが、部屋によっては接続が悪いらしく、チェックインのさいに部屋を変更しました。それでもページを開くのが遅かったので、ビジネスのためにホテルでパソコンを使う人にはお勧めできないかもしれません。 周りにはレストランやモールも多く、全体的には満足です。

ショッピングセンターやスーパーが近くにあり、利便性が良かった。ホテル内にランドリーが無く、近くのコインランドリーに行ったが、１０：００閉店だった。
