This was our second time staying there and we still love it! Will definetly be back next year.

I really don't have much experience with staying at hotels but I was happy with the time I was there. I asked for a room near the elevator and got the next to furthest one, but other than that we had no problems. The breakfast is great!

Enjoyed our stay but we asked for a non-smoking room and the room just reeked of the smell of smoke.

We were so impressed with the entire crew at Hampton Inn. Each worker seemed to personally care about all of our needs. Overall, this was a nice Hampton Inn. The people were very nice and bent over backwards for us. I had left a notebook at the desk by mistake. The clerk researched who it belonged to and called our room to make sure it got returned.

We got an upgrade to the ocean side...amazing. Perfect place to stay for beach activities within walking distance. Excellent restaurants also. Friendly staff everywhere! Definitely will stay again!

When I booked the room I made several requests that were not met when I got to the hotel. From the pictures on the web it appears that all rooms are waterfront--NOT SO -as we were booked into a street room. The Hampton was great, as usual. Very clean, very comfortable. The guy at the front desk was very nice. Although there was some convention going on with lots of teenage kids, we weren't disturbed at all. Our balcony view of the Gulf was gorgeous and soothing.

We had a very good stay and enjoyed the hotel and its facilities. The office associate who assisted us, Renee, was very accommodating, professional and personable. She went out of her way to work with us and she was very pleasant.

Decent place to stay. Room was pretty clean. Breakfast was my favorite though, a big variety :)

Stunning location for a hotel. Literally backs onto the the sandy white Pensacola beach. Came here for a rest-bite during a tour of the southern cities, such a change. The hotel itself was under a little renovation but was still delightful, great staff and nice breakfast. Would wholeheartedly recommend.

We checked in on Wednesday night, registered to leave Saturday morning. We left for the morning on Friday, and came back around 2PM. We had a load of stuff to bring into our rooms. None of the keys for either of our rooms worked. I went down to reception, explained our situation, and the desk clerk gave me new keys for both rooms, which worked. I asked […] her why our keys failed, she responded, "I have no idea". It would seem to me that the start and end time for each key made would be on the computer, but she did not offer that information. When we opened the room doors, we saw that housekeeping had avoided both rooms. It seems to me that when we arrived Wednesday, the desk clerk had us leaving on Friday instead of Saturday. It would have been better if the Friday clerk had been honest and not lied about why our keys failed. Second, trying to keep a steady 72 degrees or thereabouts was a real problem. The thermostat system is strange, and there are no explanations about getting the temperature right. Make sure your balcony door is closed to hotel specs or the system fails completely. Third, it would have been nice to have orange juice at the breakfast, but always seemed to run out first. On our last morning, they refilled, but the juice was not cold. The discounts for Thanksgiving weekend don't amount to as much as they used to, and poor service and lies will make me look elsewhere if we return next year. Читати далі

Great location, nice Gulf view, clean room - subpar staff @ front desk. When I checked in (and hotel was already paid for from Hotels.com) I asked about having a CC on file for incidentals, was told no problem, I was good. 9:15 PM (after driving 12+ hours and winding down), I get a phone call from the front desk "You need to come down and give us your […] CC since you used room service". Not a fancy hotel, but has all the amenities with the gulf view. The breakfast is very good and the staff is very friendly and eager to assist. I loved this for a weekend getaway. It is close to many things on the beach.

Our room was on the 3rd floor gulf side balcony and what a beautiful view--definitely worth paying extra for. The room was lovely and very comfortable. The people on either side of us were noisy in the night, (children jumping off the beds and screaming at 2a.m.) But it was the weekend, so I guess a little more wild behavior is to be expected. I'm sure […] if we had called the front desk, they would have taken care of it. They are remodeling the lobby right now and the breakfast seating area was a bit full because of this. Close to the beach, very nice pool. The staff especially the grounds keeper and the manger were very friendly, helpful and helped make our stay very enjoyable.

Reception (lobby) staff pleasant and helpful, but part of the reception area was under wraps due to renovations which made the breakfast dining area very small. Breakfast itself was ok, typical of the food found at most of the american mid-standard hotels. The room was really nice, with a balcony and sea view and was kept clean etc. You can use the […] facilities in the Hilton hotelnext door, as the Hampton Inns are now controlled by Hilton. Good location of the hotel, allowed you to walk to various bars and restaurants on the sea front. The 'Crab Shack' next door was good with reasonably priced selection of food. The 'Sports Bar' was very busy but did not look too clean when we visited for just a drink. The 'Hemmingway Restaurant' was ok (but food not served very hot in most of the american restaurants we have visited over the years) if you want to avoid the noisy, fast food bars. The location and value as a result can't be beat. Really great spot, right on the water and all the basic accommodations are there. The facility however is aging and really needs a thorough renovation to be done. I'd stay here again, this was the second time I've been here, but it really could use a face lift.
