Nice place to stay. No unexpected surprises. The room was clean and the bathroom and all fixtures were in good working order. Had hot water right away which is not always the case in other places we have stayed. The main entrance was somewhat obscured by other businesses at roadway. The pictures on the website are not recent. The building is older and only adequately maintained. Smokers use the stairwells and they were heavy with cigarette odors. The hotel is convenient to I85 and overnight was OK. Breakfast was also just adequate.

There's a plethora of hotels at this interstate exit and this one is a bit off the road which I'm sure makes using the pool area much nicer, but I can see why they have to discount rates. There must be 10 or more hotels at this exit! We've stayed here several times (close to Elon when other places are full). Easy access to I-85. Hotel is run down, "cheap" decor, and "adequately" maintained. Oder of smoke and musty. No marble or chandeliers. Front desk explained that she didn't want to get a TV remote for our room, so she gave us a suite. We felt "special". (still cheaply adorned, […] run down, etc.) Bed was firm (that's good). Overall, not terribly bad, just not really good. Terrific complimentary breakfast with very pleasant staff who aimed to please. High speed internet was very very slow and a big disappointment.

Average hotel. Room was clean enough and beds comfortable. Breakfast included was a nice plus.

Rooms were reasonable in size but clearly beaten and no maintained fresh over years. Musty smell, furniture & blankets stained. Bathroom worked....cleaning was fair. Good location (Elon) but not anything fancy.

We had two rooms for three nights. The first key didn't work! Back to the lobby! The phone didn't work! Back to the lobby. Changed rooms! Second room! Air conditioner didn't work! Change rooms! First room, phone looked as if it had been thrown at the wall. Couldn't dial out. Called front desk. Told to please feel free to use the phone in the lobby! […] I don't think so! Offered another room change. Second room, found out morning of the second day in this dump that the lock on the door DID NOT WORK!! I know it doesn't matter what I write here because people will still stay here but here it goes... This place is a dump. I had a non smoking room that apparently was a smoking room at one point. The room smelled of smoke and pets. Ceiling is stained with brown rings and the bathroom shower controls were barely in the wall. Breakfast I was told was […] served from 6-930AM. I arrived at 745 and found nothing was left for breakfast. I asked the hotel staff and they gave me a puzzled look and did nothing. I went to the front desk and was clearly bothering the girl who was texting her friends. She had the same "I don't care attitude" as the rest of the staff. In the end nothing was done and I went somewhere else for breakfast. I would have moved hotels but there was nothing available in the area. If you have a choice then do not stay here. Its a dump. Unless your desperate to smoke in a room and or have a pet, pass this place up. Was truly the nastiest place I have ever stayed in... cig stains all over the carpet and animal smells, phone in room didnt work, whole room stunk of smoke.

When we went down for breakfast at 7:00 the eggs were cold, the grits were just a big lump, they were out of juice, milk and coffee. They had waffles but were out of syrup. When I asked the clerk about it he was very blase and just said oh well.

This hotel was literary a life saver. I had booked another place but was a mold ttrap, they were able to work me in during he middle of the night an had a very clean room with everything I could need for a great stay.Susan at the front sk was awesome sn the other staff was friendly an helpful. this hotel was avg and a good value

The entrance to the hotel was good. The room looked ok and clean. As we started doing things we discovered one thing after another. The drain in the sink does not work. You brush your teeth, and the water stays there. It did not drain till next morning . Mattress is not comfortable, pillows are too small, and blanket is thin and old. My family has often stayed at this hotel and we have always been pleased. It is super convenient to I-85. The staff has always been friendly and helpful and I feel very safe here.

This is the second time we have stayed at this motel when we travel to see our daughter and her family. It is a nice clean motel, but the beds are not comfortable! Upon arriving, there was only one car in the entire parking lot. That was a little alarming. Upon arriving in the room, it was very spacious, clean and neat. The internet worked as advertised without any connetion problems. When I crawled into bed, I was pleasantly surprised. considering this was family weekend at Elon U., we were glad to have a place to stay. It was convenient enough to the Univ. The room was spacious. Unfortunately the breakfast was awful. There is nothing worse than COLD, WEAK coffee. I looked for tea but there were no tea bags anywhere as a compromise. The place had plenty of families staying there and […] should have anticipated the number of people having breakfast. They were running out of everything. This hotel had the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in with wonderfully luxurious linens. The bathroom was spacious and everything was very clean. The front desk was efficient and helpful. The Regatta Restaurant on the premises was reasonably priced (lunch), had a sufficient variety of choices, and accomodating. The Hotel was a dump it smelled real bad and the room was bad as well. It had blood over on the headboard. We did not stay longer than 10 minutes. I do not recomend this place for anyone.

Convenient but a very weird rundown location. Staff was friendly however. Room OK except for annoying AC fan that came of every 20 minutes

It was a very pleasant stay and the staff were friendly. We will stay again, when we are in the neighborhood.

Room appeared to be clean. There was granite on bathroom vanity which was very nice. However, lamp shade was ripped. Light bulb missing from desk lamp. Curtain loose from rod. TV had problems with volume constantly changing. Improvements need to be made in maintenance of property. We paid way too much for this stay!
