Only problem was we booked a non-smoking room, and we got a smoking room. Gross. Otherwise, it was fine for what it is! The lady who helped us check in was very sweet.

Very friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms. they love pets too and that's wonderful.

If you wanna stay for shopping at Desert Hills outlet it´s a good hotel to stay. The overall of the hotel is ok, but it´s very close to the outlet. They have breakfast included and the waffle is amazing! I think they´ll need renovation very soon.

We needed a place to stay in the middle of our trip and this place was perfect. Not a lot of frills, but it was clean and comfortable. Close to the interstate, but we were so exhasuted the traffic noise was not an issue.

The hotel is close to a road and very noisy, hard to sleep.

The title is a little deceiving - should say close to casino and outlet mall. No restaurant but next door to Sizzler. Wifi availability questionable as I could not access internet even with the furnished code. If you're only looking for a clean and comfortable place to sleep this hotel is fine.

Hotel was clean. Rooms were small and older. Comfort of bed was ok. Breakfast room was way too small! For the price, we thought it was ok.

I had a great stay. Everyone was super nice. The rooms were clean and had everything I needed.

My friend and I were meeting in California to spend a couple of days together and the Travelodge met all of our needs. The room was basic, but clean. The property is conveniently located near the freeway and trains, but this does mean there is a lot of traffic noise. If you are able, request a room closer to Ramsey street (further from the freeway). […] The Travelodge was close to many fast food and restaurant options - other reviews about Sizzler smells wafting up to the room are totally accurate! It's also a short drive to Morongo and to the Outlet mall. The reviews about the continental breakfast are also accurate - there are not too many offerings and it is held in a small room, but the waffles were delicious plus other staples looked sufficient (mini-bagels and muffins, cream cheese, coffee, milk, cereal). Folks with the super negative reviews need to keep in mind that these are economy accomodations in a small city in the middle of nowhere California. Don't come here expecting the same "economy" accomodation as in larger places like Las Vegas, Los Angeles, etc. As for me, I would definitely stay here again, but may try out other comparable accomodations if I find myself in Banning, CA again. Nice clean room with resturaunts all up and down the block, with a sissler steak house right next door, comfortable bed and clean bathroom with nice thick towels, just wish it had a spa, but great price for nice room!

There were cigarett buts in the clothes rack - mold around the hot tub- the calking- the bed was very uncomfortable- the pillows were flat- the bed spread didn't smell clean- Next time I will spend a little more $$ for a nicer place. there was also only a over half empty toilet paper roll left on the rack- no spare. very dissapointed,

We drove in from LA Friday night to be near the Palm Springs Area where we had reservations for the Ingleside Inn...(great little hideout if you ever looking for a classy 30's style place) that following Saturday and Sunday. We decided on the Travel Lodge Banning because of the reviews I read compared to the place next door it sounded a bit more comfortable. […] I had a little trouble getting the door open with the key-card but after finally getting the door to open the room was your typical motel style room. I will say its a good place for a quick stop over. They had a nice little break room for breakfast....that's always a good thing. The bed and pillows were a bit hard but still not too bad. Just a note to say we had a problem with out air conditioning and your staff did an excellent job in taking care of us. Kathy was working when we got up in the morning and she went beyond to take care of us. We would have really like our stay more but the traffic noise is constant. I realize this is not your fault. The service was great from the front desk to the housekeeping. Kids enjoyed the pool and the waffles for breakfast. geting the hotel through Hotels.com save us a bunch of money!!!

I had a really bad night there. The pillows were the wrost ever. They were whole bunch of pieces of cotton. Also there were a lot of flies, I killed about 10 of them. To top it off, you can hear everything someone walked next door and upstairs. I will not be staying on any Travelodge hotels ever.

for the trains...which is something the motel can't control...but they were annoying...Front desk folks were great and helpful...missed the breakfast so can't comment on it...only negative was the noise from the trains...they do like to toot their horns...

This hotel served it's purpose. It was comfortable, clean and the service was great. We had no iron or ironing board in the room and when I told the front desk, the housekeeping supervisor came within minutes to bring those items to us. There was a little bit of a damp odor in the room which was the only unpleasant aspect of our stay. When my husband and I first arrived at the hotel, we were to get a room with a jacuzzi in it. When we checked in the jacuzzi was very dirty and did not work as anything other than a bathtub. We called the front desk and they were quick to put us in a new room that was fully functional and clean. The pool area wasn't very clean. We could use the pool […] itself, but the chairs around it were covered in mildew. Upon leaving the hotel I discovered that three of my shirts were missing. I can't say for sure that they were stolen, but I did find it odd that it was all 3 shirts of the same size and design and nothing else was missing. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. The name of the motel makes it sound like you are right at a casino and outlet mall, but you arent. However they are both just a short drive from this motel. The price was right and the rooms were clean though.

I have only one complaint and that is... Every night I have to go to the office to get the key to reset. It doesn't work after 5pm. It's so annoying when I had a bunch of bags trying to open the hotel room. Having to go to the office each night really made upset. We were not told of this when I checked in. Good overall for the price...

Room was clean and place was very easy to find. The freeway noise didn't bother me, but the train kept my husband awake. The beds were very hard and uncomfortable, but the price was good. Don't bother with breakfast, it's a tiny room with 6 chairs in the middle and very hard to walk through.

Nice for the price! Clean and comfortable. A little bit of traffic and train noise, but considering the location it was to be expected. I have stayed at another hotel nearby for the same price range. This hotel was much nicer and you could park right in front of your room.

close to outlets, restaurants and Casino

This quaint motel is right next to Sizzlers off I10 in Banning, CA. At night you smell the aroma of steaks and can't resist visiting the restaraunt. The breakfast room has a self-serve waffle maker.......do have seconds, they are absolutely delicious. There is an in-room fridge and microwave. Stayed with my wife and two kids. Greatly satisfied with the hotel, wish the breakfast lasted till later in the day. Also, wished I was able to upgrade to a room with the jacuzzi at the front desk with the price from this site. Would go again, but the non-smoking room smelled like it had been smoked in and covered up with chemicals leading to a sore throat in the morning.

It was fine. Everything was clean including the bathroom and the sheets. The bedspreads and the walls are pretty ugly but hey, no big deal really about that. The front office staff was friendly in the evening when we arrived and in the morning when we checked out. It is close to lots of different restaurant choices and just an exit away from the outlet […] mall. Freeway traffic noise wasn't terrible, if you are as tired as we were you won't notice it! This hotel is perfect for a person looking for a place to just crash for the night. We were driving to LA for a cruise and there was a lot to do in the area and the hotel was inexpensive and clean. Exactly what I was looking for

The bathroom were very clean along with the fridge and microwave that was in the room. I would definetely stay there again when we take a little trip to Casino Morongo. We stood at the Travelodge in Banning!

It was real bad. The bed had a hole in the middle that we kept falling in, pillow very hard, the room had a very bad urine odor . There were no extra blanckets. I will never stay there again or recommend to anyone. It was not worth the money I spend. It was a bad experience. It should not have a star reading at all.

The Travelodge in Banning, California is in the beautiful San Gorgonio Pass area and old Stagecoach town. Lots of history and areas to explore if you have the time.

This hotel has very basic facilities, but with a little maintenance and upkeep, it could be much better. Example: The floor lamp was broken and hanging in pieces. There was a coffee maker with one pack of coffee, but no cups. One of my pillow cases was stamped "Riverside Memorial Hospital". This room was reserved for my daughter and her new husband who wanted to stay in this area. The room was quite nice, clean, had a comfortable bed and they enjoyed having a microwave, coffeemaker, and refrigerator in the room.

This hotel was okay nothing fancy.

The beds were not comfortable neither were the pillows. I think it needed some updating! But they were nice in the morning and the breakfast room was nice.

Friendly staff, close to the casino and shopping definitely worth it.
