There were dirty dishes left in the hallways on the third floor and with the incredible winds those two days, foods was scattered in front of the elevators. I thought with the costs of the rooms, Wifi should have been included without additional fees to hotel guest.

"Clearwater Marriott Beach on Sand Key"
The Marriott Sand Key is an AWESOME place to stay. The view of the bay off our room (7th floor) balcony and the view (ocean in the distance) from our living room were spectacular! The pool with its two waterfalls is heated to 85 degrees and is so inviting. We enjoyed the hot tub too! Each and everyone of the Marriott staff await you! Sand Key Beach […] is very nice, but not the powdery sand like Clearwater Beach. The Marriott has a courtesy van and buggy that will take you to Sand Key Beach ANYTIME you want to go and there is a phone at the beach bathhouse where you can call when you are ready to go back to the hotel. There is a beautiful Boardwalk from the Marriott to lots of shopping and other restarurants. We flew into Tampa Airport and found it easy to rent a car and navigate to Clearwater. It is only about 15-20 miles to Clearwater / Sand Key and NO TOLL ROADS. We followed 60W from Tampa Airport to Clearwater until it dead ends right into Gulf Blvd. Sand Key and Clearwater are beautiful. You will not be disappointed. Clearwater Beach is just a jaunt from the Marriott hotel and is actually a nice short drive (maybe 2-3 miles). We went in November and found a jacket necessary in the evening. We were there 5 days. Very nice hotel ,overlooking Clearwater bay,with outstanding views , very well maintained and approx 2 miles from pier 60!....however for the price paid for my accomodation i do believe they should include free wifi ,and maybe a little discount on the jetski hire for residents considering it is part of the hotel and open to public for the same price, […] the drinks at the bar downstairs are a little on the pricey side, and after using the outside bar kokomos, I found the staff quite unhelpful and much more interested in going about they're own buisiness (the 2 middle aged ladies however were great and should be awarded.)... , I would however return for a stay and cant recommend Maggy-Maes cafe enough!! The stay was wonderful with a lot of fun things for everyone to do. The food was horrible. Had 3 meals at the hotel for convenience and everything was terrible. Would recommend this hotel, but eat elsewhere.

"Very Clean"
Pool was spectacular! Beautiful Hotel. Only Disapointment was WiFi was a daily charge if used.

Had a great stay! Most helpful staff,made sure we had everything we needed. Our grandchildren had a wonderful time and there was so much for them to do. I do wish they would have had some two bedroom/two bath suites.

"Clearwater Beach Marriott"
Really nice hotel, our room was fine. Door handle to bedroom was broken so it kept opening while my kids were sleeping and the balcony door was getting stuck often. I was told that the hotel was on the beach. Well, the public beach is across the street so a buggy service takes you there which is fine too. You do have a beautiful view of the water from […] your balcony, but our room just happened to be above the A/C so when we opened the sliding door it was very loud. The hotel room was damp and musty. It literally made me ill. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

"poor room"
front desk staff put me in a room that had windows you needed a chair to see out. Then when I complained offered me a room with a water leak. This ruined my vacation as I had to scramble and find a hotel at the last minute on holiday weekend.

"Nice but pricey"
We originally booked a room for 8 nights but had to leave after the 4th night because it the rain would not stop. Room was average and could have been better for the price but our balcony did overlook the harbor and was beautiful. Only drawback with that is that our room was near the massive hotel air conditioners and was noisy if you sat outside. Room […] was older than I expected...especially for the price. But the location was very pretty. The beach was across the street and only like a few blocks to walk. I didn't mind that. I loved the pool area overlooking the harbor was a very peaceful area. It was low season I guess and very rainy. We went during 4th of July week. Customer service was great and we got a refund for our last four nights without penalty. Service was very good. The bell boy left a blanket and pillow behind and they shipped it to us in a few days. I would go back for sure because it was so serene. Very nice view but room was kind of older. Wish I could live in Clearwater. Very pretty. About 1.5 hours away from the parks. Not bad. Hope to go back. Also, this hotel has the nicest pool out of all the hotels I found. "Renovationsbedürftig"
Hotelanlage mit sehr schönem Pool und in schöner Umgebung. Leider sind die Queen-Betten sehr sehr schmal... haben auf unserer 3wöchigen Florida Rundreise keine so schmalen Betten vorgefunden. Die Teppiche und die gesamte Inneneinrichtung sind von mir aus gesehen renovationsbedürtig. Zu teuer für das was es ist!
"zu protzig"
wir hatten ein Zimmer für 6 Personen. Dafür sind die Zimmer aber zu klein. Für unsere Verhältnisse war das Hotel zu protzig, da wir es lieber etwas gemütlich haben. Waren im 9. Stock,- bis der Lift oben oder unten war, vergingen lange Minuten. 8.30 Uhr sind alle Liegestühle bereits mit Badetücher reserviert. Am Pool grosser Lärm und keine Change auf […] Liegestuhl ausser man seht um 7.00 auf zum Reservieren. Frühstück, wenn nicht inklusive, überissener Preis. Читати далі
