Super 8 St. Paul/I-94 - Сент-Пол

I booked the room because of the low price and it was close to where I needed to go. I figured since Super 8's rates are usually low I wouldnt be sacrificing quality for price- especially in a larger city; but boy was I wrong. The hotel was practically falling apart. There was a large hole in the wall of my room which had just been fixed by a covering […] of a thin sheet of wallpaper, there was a cigarette burn on the lamp shade in my non smoking room, and when I turned on the hair dryer it sounded like a lawn mower! Great representative available to assist us when we got checked in. General manager was visible when we arrived the first night. Not to fond of random hotel guests pounding on our door at 2 or 3am. The room was comfortable and the locale of the hotel was convenient because we were in downtown St Paul at the River Centre for the Support the Troups event […] for the Minnesota Army National Guard. This is the worst hotel experience I have ever had in my life. The bed was filthy. Very doubtful the sheets had been changed. The "art" above the bed looked like someone had punched it. My wife found a long black hair hanging from it and a used tissue behind the head of the mattress. The walls are paper-thin, the people next door left their TV running […] all night. The shower kept randomly cycling between blister hot and freezing. The wash cloths were stained. The smoke detector had been ripped out of the wall, and this was the smoking room section we were in (despite the fact that we booked non-smoking). When we checked in, the host told us they were out of Kings. When I told him we had reserved a King, he said "Oh....well then you can have one". Slamming doors at all hours. Loud televisions emanating from every door. Smelly hallways. Hallway window next to our room was stuck open (it was 9 degrees that night). Super 8 corporate should really have a look at this place. Loud hotel occupants woke me up periodically throughout the night (until ~5 AM). Tiny bed and mediocre room. I'll definitely spend the money on a better hotel during future trips to St. Paul.

I took my girl there for (new-years) there were people fighting in the rooms, and on top of that some-one (BROKE) in my car, our new years was a disater.

The walls are paper thin so you can hear everything that is going on all around you. I got in late and did some work on the free Wifi, only good thing about the hotel. The room smelled and i don't think it was vacuumed and the bathroom didn't look to have been cleaned. I would not recommend staying here, especially at the price they charge.

This hotel is bad DO NOT STAY HERE!!!! We arrived shortly after 3pm and were told the king room we paid for was not available so they were giving us one with a full bed. When we got into the room it was filthy. Dirty towels, an un made bed, dirty bathroom, the trash was full, and the phone was broke. After complaining we finally got the king room and […] it was mostly clean but then after leaving for a few hours we came back and our key didn't work. The hotel staff insisted we had the wrong room. After thirty frustrating minutes we finally convinced them we were trying the right room and were reunited with our belongings. I was very upset with how we were treated. It was unacceptable. It was impossible to adjust the temperature in the room, it was way too hot. It was terribly noisy. People were banging on doors at 4:00 - 4:30 A.M. several times.

I do not recommend anyone staying at this hotel. It is in a bad part of town. This hotel is one of the worst I have ever seen. The room was absolutely disgusting. No power button on the tv, toilet was not clean, tiles cracked in the bathroom,looked like the maids squirted bleach everywhere in the room on the carpet. Was not vacuumed, and was horribly […] smelling. We checked in, went to our room, looked around and ended up walking right back out and going to the front desk and getting a refund to go someplace else. I actually stayed at this hotel for 2 nights during a recent trip. Our room the first night was clean, but had a musty smell, but the second room we had was great. Clean and fresh. The neighborhood is aging, but this Super 8 has been kept up. It is clean and comfortable with pleasant staff. Easy access from I-94 at Old Hudson Road.

you get what you pay for and this was just fine for me.Many units appear to be weekly and monthly rentals but a courteous front desk eased concerns about the neighborhood etc. Bed, TV and shower were all fine, very little noise at night.

Nice clean hotel, reasonable rates, great location for access to St. Paul.

The first night I checked in my room was by the lobby and it was noisy ALL night. It was supposed to be a smoke free room and reeked of smoke! I didn't get any sleep. The front desk guy the next morning was very friendly and let me change rooms for the rest of the stay. The next room was much more quiet. The bottom mattress in both rooms was very old […] and stained. It didn't feel very clean but for the great price I wouldn't expect much more. It is great though for a hotel to be pet friendly! We had no hot water to shower Pillows did not have cases Friends who checked in with us did not get the room they reserved. Had to get 2 queen beds instead of a King. If you are staying on a weekend night and need a cab...make sure you allow 2 HOURS to get picked up.

Took forever to check in. The line was very long. The smoking room I reserved was not available and I had to use a non-smoking room, which put me on a different floor from my friends' room. I was not offered any explanation or any kind of apology or any offer of compensation for screwing up my reservation. I would not stay here again. This hotel was not clean and not good at housekeeping. Bathroom was not clean and flush. The non smoking beds are smell like the room was never been clean.

Nice neat and clean!

We were not happy as we went into the room, our curtains were lying on the floor!! Julio was very apologetic, (not his fault) and helpful. He made our stay enjoyable, the room sure didn't however!!
