DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Columbus Downtown - Коламбус

I found this hotel to be a perfect place to stay while visiting Columbus. The hotel was in a decent location - close to some things, not as close to others, but it seemed like there was always a taxi downstairs. We were able to walk to the Kroger to buy groceries for our weekend, and the fridge and microwave made meals really easy. It's a long-ish walk […] (3 miles) to the downtown area (Nationwide Arena, Gordon Biersch, Piano Bar, etc.), but it is do-able. The room was spacious, clean, and had great upgrades (pillow top mattress--aah!). I wish the wireless was cheaper, or free, but made do with my phone. And maybe parking didn't have to be $20/day as a guest, but, again, we made do. We had a great stay, and the next time I go to an Ohio State football game, I will definitely stay at this hotel. This was an excellent hotel. The room was very very nice and extremely comfortable. Located near the arena district, highly recommend this hotel. Breakfast was excellent and included because we booked with Hotels.com!!!

Suite was nice and roomy! 2 big flat screens. Very nice....

Hotel Stay was great! The one downfall is that parking is not free/included.... you can charge it to the room but we chose not to and were glad we did. It was cheaper to check out of the garage ourself than if we would have charged it to the room.

The hotel was very nice. The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was clean and nice. The only inconvenience of the trip, which is not the hotel's problem, is that the parking garage under the hotel is under construction and they begin working each day right around 8 a.m. So, sleeping in was difficult. dont go there ! choose Holidays Inn instead - peope at the desk were not nice - no fan in the bathroom - used sheets in the sofa bed in our room - internet had to be paid $10 a computer ( when it is free in most hotels) - parking is paying too but thats the reason we chose the hotel ; to get a secure parking (although we were told to leave no valuable […] uncover in the car .. but all went well) - we ate at the restaurant : food was fine but we waited more than 1 hour after having ordered .. when the restaurant was quite empty Читати далі

The charges that went along with staying at the hotel were UNREAL. We were charged for parking... $20/day PER car. And they even charge for local calls. So being responsible and calling a cab means that you're charged $1/minute for each call. The hotel itself was very nice. But it was very expensive for an overnight get-a-way.

Perfect accommodations. Beautiful, clean, comfortable suite with a gorgeous view in the perfect location for us. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend this hotel. Only slight negative was having to pay for parking but we knew that going in.

Things to consider- parking is $10 Per car Per day and internet is Also $10- way over priced. everything else was nice, but I needed parking and internet too

I had a river view and it was very beautiful in the evening.

Spacious room, clean, comfortable, plenty of sundries. Fewer amenities, but okay for downtown hotel.

The curtains look like someone had thrown up on them and the bathroom has no fan and no windows. The customer service was great!. It cost $20 a day to park which I think is outrageous; maybe $10 but $20 is crazy. That would be my reason for not staying again

Comfort is key at Doubletree! Microwave and refrigerator contribute to economy if needed. Staff were outstanding in their professionalism and helpfulness. Price for Internet is the only negative to our stay.

Got a wonderful suite, but the fitness center was not inthe same building--weird. Also, they charge for parking.

i was very supised with the pice we paid for such a big hotel suite. we had a bridal shower of 25 people and there was still enough room for more. great location to enjoy night clubs and downtown.A cab cost us only $3.00 to get a ride to the bars even though its walking distance.

I always stay at this hotel when visiting our Columbus office. The staff is overwhelmingly friendly. They even let me "steal" a cold bottled water out of their little store. Cookies are great. The only thing that bothered me a bit this trip was a very musty/moldy smell in the bathroom. I think it was the shower curtain. Everything is always very clean […] and it's very comfortable. The room was absolutely beautiful, enough room for 4 people, actually. I loved the fact that there was cable television including HBO and other family-oriented channels. It's a great place to stay if you're traveling on business - microwave, refrigerator, coffee-maker with great coffee and tea bags. The warm chocolate chip cookie was great.
