The hotel is in a great location and has amazing food and beverage amenities. The rooms are very small but the beds are comfortable. Would stay there again.

The hotel was VERY understaffed. It took forever to get drinks and food. The rooms were very small and had no closets. The only closet in the room was a free standing closet with 2 drawers and a mini bar in the middle of it. Further, the hotel doesn't tell you about this when you check in but on weekends they charge for seats at one of their better […] pools (the one closer to the beach). They charge 350$ for a bed for 2 people and 150$ for a single chair...you can use that money for a food and beverage minimum but what if you only want a few drinks and not a bottle? I've heard a lot of guests complain during my stay at the hotel. We will definitely not be returning there. I have been to many hotels in miami and this one is by far one of the worst ones I have been to. I would recommend Fontainebleau or Loews, they are both excellent hotels, far better than this one! the hotel is really beautiful the rooms are stunning, and so is there pool area etc, its right on the beach and on the main shopping rd,only thing I didnt like was that the passage way to your rooms are dark black carpets black walls etc so it makes it look dark and dingy the complete opposite to the feel of what the hotel is really like

No balcony and you paying $400. Food price is high but all hotels in south beach re expensive. I recommend the perry when construction is over or the Eden roc for couples. If u single try clevelander or on a fancier side try the fountain blue

Very elegant and sleek hotel. Nice decorated inside and in the rooms. The outside is very nice decorated as well The staff is great , especially the manager Sinem and the concierge Sebastien. Thank you all for a nice vacation!

Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Common areas were nice. Room was a complete dissapointment, barely enough room to turn around. 4th floor, lousy view. $9 bottle of beer and $20 mixed drink.....no comment.

Rooms are very small for 2people no closets. The pool staff is fabulous best service I ever had. However even though you are a guest of the hotel they want to charge a 350 fee for a double lounge chair to sit by the pool. Or you need to spend at least 350 for the day at the pool. Not sure this is good business for paying hotel customers.

Had a great 4 day stay here and would go back any day. Friendly staff and great atmosphere. Definitely for a younger crowd. The highlight is the restaurant in the main lobby (Bazaar), amazing tapas style food! So good we ate there two nights in a row.

The rooms are tine for the price you pay. Other than a bed, which was comfortable, one should expect nothing. At best this is a three star hotel.

The rooms are VERY small. There are no closets in the rooms which is ridiculous. I would not recommend staying there for more than two nights. The shower doesn't contain the water in. My room flooded every time I showered. Then my shoes were socked wet when I would use the bathroom.

Rooms a bit tiny but very hip. The hotel is centerally located in South Beach and is the "IT" place to be.

A great romantic experience overall. Stayed for 4 days. Bought some mixers at a local liquor store and made drinks in the room. The hotel brougth up (upon request) a bucket of ice, the 3 limes I requested, and a knife and cutting board to cut them on (a nice surprise) for free. Very nice people throughout the property. Food was expensive (breakfast […] for 2 was 50-80 bucks; I did not try dinner or lunch), but was excellent. Drinks made by the nearby day spa and served at the pool were expensive and not very good. The mojito ordered at the pool, was almost all ice. The place hops at night as many people beyond those staying there are attracted to the food and the other people. Ferarris and an Audi R8 in front with the valets, the attractive people, and soft techno seeming to emanate from teh very walls added to the atmosphere, The music fit the designer decor perfectly. Tiny, odor filled room, dysfunctional plumbing, toilet that never worked properly. No pool chairs in the sun to sit at without paying a minimum charge. Late checkin, refusals to help with late checkout. Overall, a very uncomfortable and disappointing stay. Far better value to be had at almost any other sobe hotel.

The only thing I did not like was that the rooms were very small and that you the restaurants are in the hotel lobby causing the lobby to always smell like food. I understand that the SLS had to fit everything into a preservation/heritage hotel building and therefore were limited with space. Rooms are so small that I bumped my knees into the sharp corners of the beds twice during the first two days. No closet in the rooms. No hotel parking. Instead you pay $45/day for valet parking. No access to the beach. Unbelievable prices in the restaurant - $100 for breakfast for 3 people. You could get more quality for your buck elsewhere.

Hotel was beautiful and new. There was a general apathy from the staff that was a bit strange. However, the new GM, Tomas, went above and beyond at the end of our stay and made the whole thing 10x better. For the inexpensive rate and the quality of the place, it was certainly worth the money. We also had a bizarre circumstance where someone knocked on our door at 9am and asked us if we wanted to order breakfast or dinner? Very nice stay in this very hip hotel . Room was definitely very small with no real closet . So be prepared to live "in" your suitcase . Bathroom small although large shower.

If you are going to Miami to relax by the pool and enjoy swimming this is not the hotel for you. They blast the music so loud that you don't know whether you're at a hotel pool or at a nightclub.

Over priced. Had to change rooms, sink leaked all over the floor, safe wasn't even secured to anything. Next room was ok but we went from ocean view to air conditioner view. Meals at hotel were high priced but found a good place across the street. Had to call the desk everyday to get our room cleaned. The housekeeping never came unless we called at […] 7pm in the evening. great place, great food. booked in with a bunch of guys to wind down and enjoy the long weekend. Everyone was pleased and enjoyed their stay. Food and drinks were on the a bit costly but well worth it Service is very very slow.... especially for breakfast.

Great hotel for young trendy couples. Excellent location close to Lincoln and shopping district. Beautiful reserved section on beach with complimentary beach chairs. Very large pool with ample space however constant loud music (techno beat) can get tiresome at times. Older building with character beautifully restored.

Instead, the ocean view I could see from the window installation for air conditioning and other ventilation devices. After my many discussions with hotel staff eventually managed to replace the room to another. In addition, the hotel […] has blocked my credit card in the amount of $ 1,500 to an unknown destination. It was a great experience! The stuff is very friendly and helpfull, the pool is beautiful and restaurants on the site are amazing! Even though rooms are small, they are very beautifully decorated and have a cool mirror on the ceiling. Would def recommend to everybody!

The hotel was pleasing to the eye, the staff was accommodating. Only complaint was to get coffee they wanted you to sit in dining area. Starbucks 3 blocks away. When I asked for coffee they accommodated me with a cup and accessories free of charge to take to my room.

The hotel was IMMACUALTE. The staff were extremely helpful, I don't think we opened a door once on our own, there was always a staffer there to open it for us! The pool that was for guests only was beautiful and we never had a problem getting a lounger in the sun, and the poolside drink prices, were not nearly as expensive as i had expected! I traveled […] with two friends and we stayed in a room with two double beds, so it was a bit tight getting ready, the bathroom is really only big enough for one person at a time to use the mirror, but it wasn't unmanageable. And the iPad in the room came in super handy when looking up directions! I would highly recommend this spot to anyone! It was very near all the bars and restaurants we were hoping to hit up on our trip, super close to great shopping and there's a bus stop right outside if you're planning on taking transit anywhere.
