we always stay at Hampton Inns because we have never had a bad experience yet.

We had a wonderful experience in this hotel. The free shuttle to the airport was great. The breakfast was outstanding and the beds very comfortable. My only complaint would be that the one bed was very noisy with very little pressure put on it, but it only bothered us the first night, not the 2nd. So that is a very small complaint. The Hampton Inn at knoxville Airport was perfect for our 1 night stay. Although we did not need much, I noticed small details that many more expensive hotels do not have: i.e. lap desk to be used in chair or bed, electric plug for IPhone or Kindle or other, in case you have forgotten yours, mouthwash, desk area with lighting and electric included, discount […] at nearby restaurant, shuttle van. The Hampton Inn in Alcoa is great in almost every aspect except access from Rte. 129. We arrived around 4:30 from the north and it took about six minutes to get a break in traffic to turn onto the road leading to the motel and about the same amount of time an hour later to turn left from the road to travel south to Maryville. Saturday traffic was lighter […] and better. Bed was comfortable, nice TV and chair, decent breakfast. Very nice place to stay- clean. Pool was fabulous.

I called on Friday am before our arrival there on Saturday to ask if the outdoor pool was going to be operational as this was a large reason for booking this hotel, also I have always always had a good experience at Hampton Inn's. I was told the pool was operational and open. Only to arrive on Saturday evening to find that the pool was not operational […] and not open due to chemicals that had not arrived and should arrive just any time (meaning that day or early am of the next). The next morning I was told by another person at the front desk when I again enquired about the pool that it would not be open. The nice lady went on to say that she was glad they had not filled it, because they had a faulty drain, and it would have to be replaced. To some this may not be a big deal and on some trips it would not have been for us either, but we planned our day around relaxing at the pool and enjoying something other than rain and tornados, hence the before hand phone call. What I don't appreciate is being lied to when I called, as I could have changed my reservation to a place that would have better suited our needs. I addressed this with the front desk personnel who did not comment and upon returning home with the Hampton Inn directly. To date I have had no response. Poor customer service. Читати далі

friendly staff, good breakfast and great location

The staff at Hampton Inn couldn't be more friendly and accomodating. They were always there with a smile and focused on making the customer happy. Thank you for an enjoyable stay, I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

It was a great stay. There for an interview. The customer service was phenomenal! The hotel was very modern and comfortable. The evening of my stay the hotel provided fresh baked cookies. The transportation service was amazing and went far above my expectations. My stay was for one night for business. I picked it due to it's location to the airport and my meeting. I was quite surprised at how beautifully it was and it was just remodeled. At check in they had a bucket of water bottles on ice for you to enjoy-free of charge as many as you wish. The lobby felt more like a warm cozy ski lodge and was quite inviting. […] They also had a station offering the standard coffee/tea but unique beverages also. Fruit also was on display. The free shuttle from the airport was prompt and very friendly. I believe the woman at the front desk name was Cindy and she was fantastic. When discussing my needs she informed me of the free shuttle service offered within a Five mile radius of the hotel. My visit was 8.2 miles but they still not only brought me there the next day but picked me up and brought me to the airport-FREE again. Shandy was the driver and he was not only professional and prompt, but charming and caring. When he was coming to pick me up and was caught in an unexpected traffic jam he took the trouble to call me on my cell to inform me he would be delayed and why and even apologized even though the fault was none of his (rock slide on the highway). I have traveled over 30 years sometimes two weeks out of each month and have had great, good, bad and horrible experiences like everyone else. This one took me quite by surprise. I have stayed at many Hampton Inns and many 5 star hotels. This particular one really is a hidden gem. I will make sure to keep this one on my file of definite's to go back to and strongly recommend to ANYONE-business or pleasure. It was really great that the Hampton offered free breakfast. That saves travellers a lot of money, and that is appreciated.

No disappointments. Excellent in every respect and as expected for a Hampton Inn property.

Hotel newly renovated. Everything was very nice. Extrememly close to airport (literally across the street).
