eh- if you get a great price it's doable for a night, off the highway, convenient to food - 75-40 not as clean or updated as i expected. better off staying across the parking lot at the comfort inn

Great Hotel, great price! Clean, neat, great breakfast, would highly recommend!

The hotel was clean enough and the king size bed very comfortable. The free breakfast was more than adequate for me and my husband. There are several restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance and shopping not to far away. Also the employees were very courteous. However the water pressure must be very low as it would take the commode at […] least 5 to 10 minutes or longer to refill in order to flush again. The parking area was well lit. There were elderly people playing cards in the front which made me feel safe. I went into the room, there was dried blood all over the top sheet, I quickly changed rooms. There was blood still all over the the sheets of the second room. Very clean! Friendly service better than the more expensive hotel we stayed in the next night in a different state! Would stay again! Staff is awesome!

We were able to bring 2 medium sized dogs with us. There was plenty of room outside to walk and the first floor was very quiet. We enjoyed the many nearby (walking distance) restaurants.

Will be staying there on our return trip we liked it that much. Also it was the only hotel that we found that would allow our 2 German Shepard's.

Girls on the front desk were friendly and helpful and my room was spic and span....

The breakfast is barely adequate if you are trying to eat healthy. Mostly carbs; nothing hot unless you make a waffle. Our bed was not the worst we've had, but not nearly the best. We stayed here because it allowed pets and we would stay here again due to that feature plus the location was convenient for our needs. Oh -- the refrigerator in the room […] was very noisy. staff were friendly and helpful with our requests rewgarding locations to dine or hang out and watch football . Would definitely recommend to others we recieved our money's worth alot to be said about good customer service

Very satisfactory stay. Meant to tell someone as we were leaving, but forgot, that the toilet in this room looked like it was stopping up. A maintenance person probably should check this before it does stop up and overflows.

While I understan "free" breakfat at a hotel will not be restaurant quality,this was sub par. I was also surprised when I ask for a late check out of no more than an hour I was flately denied(rudely).The hotel was not full so I could not underatnd the in-flexibility. In a desirable location this hotel is one of the more reasonably priced values in the area.

Conveniently located to major food chains and shopping. Staff was courteous and friendly.

The hotel is one of those renovated old hotels. So it still has that old appearance and the rooms are smaller as compared to newer hotels at the same price, but it was close to some really good restaurants. There is only one elevator in the hotel and it's in the very center (once again because it's an old hotel) and I just so happened to be on the third […] floor at the very opposite end so it was a hassle getting it and out. The continental breakfast was a normal cold breakfast, I've seen better. The room was neat just really small especially for two people. The bed was comfortable and the air conditioning unit worked well. My only major problem was the service. I got there around 9pm and there was a sign that said "be right back" well 20 minutes later the guy came in and the person with me saw him come in from outside, so I assume he took an extra long smoke break and the line was backing up and the phone's were ringing off the hook. Then as I went to check out, I could hear the girl talking on the phone having a personal conversation in the office and finally I had to make myself known to even get checked out. Oh and there are no extra toiletries in the rooms except bar soap so good luck getting anything if you forget it cause tracking down someone that works there may be harder than driving to walmart to purchase it on your own. We booked this hotel at the last minute at 8:30pm. Needless to say, when we arrived it was packed. The hotel staff did their very best to accommodate our family. We were very pleased.

Great customer service.. Nice Job !!

We stayed for one night. The room was very clean, bed very comfortable, and staff very helpful. It was located within walking distance of several resturants.

Convenient off/on to major hwy. In the midst of several restaurants as well as a couple of blocks from main roadway into Knoxville. Noteworthy, Jameson was first hotel in our travels, staying at 6 hotels that provided MSNBC as a viewable option on their television.

Hotels in Knoxville are overpriced. Jammeson Inn was a good value for the money. I stay here from time to time because it is always clean, courteous staff, and located within walking distance of several restaurants.

Location was very good, walking distance to several nice restaurants, easy to get to from highway. Very disappointed in cleanliness of the hotel. Upon checking in, went into the restroom, tub full of hairs and shampoo/soap on walls, when i called front desk, they sent someone with a spray bottle and a rag to wipe it out, and was still hairs stuck to […] sides of tub. Floors looked like a vacuum went thru the middle and that was about it, on floor alongside bed, paper, dirt, and fingernails were there that should have been vacuumed. Kind of made you wonder if sheets/bedding had been changed as well. Would NOT recommend to others, unfortunately we were with a baseball team and had not much choice in the matter. The hotel is an older one and they have not been able to remove the smoking smell. The locks are old and we had to recharge the keys continually.

A great place to stay.Price very reasonable,staff very friendly and helpful. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. Bed was nice and firm for a good nights sleep. We will use this hotel again. 5 STARS is our opinion!!!!

The hotel was fine until we got our room. We walked in and the air conditioner didn't work, so I went to the front desk. The lady sat in back in her chair after one just walked out the door past me just looking at me as if she had better things to do. After a couple minutes or so someone came in and took a look at the air conditioner. He turned it to […] heat and said it works, but then when he left it shut right back off. Have stayed at this hotel many times over the last several years when in Knoxville on business. Clean and comfortable with good breakfast food selection. There are also several good restaurants within easy walking distance. (Peerless, Carrabba's, Outback, Parkside Tavern, and Famous Dave's Barbque to mention a few).

The room was clean, but needed updated. The lounge chair was very worn and sunken. We were in the process of preparing to leave the room for the day and asked that houssekeeping come back in a few minutes. When we returned later that evening housekeeping had not been. We then went to the desk to request housekeeping and we were told they were gone for […] the day. We then asked for clean linens and I felt as though I was bothering the desk clerk. The next morning when trying to check out there was a sign on the desk that read" Please be patient while I am assisting a guest". Our room was very clean. The only thing I have that was not outstanding was the AC it's high setting seemed like a very low and the room was not as cool as I am used to, but it could have been just that one room. The location is excellent, good neighborhood, lots of restaurants, shopping and close to UT. I will be back for sure.

We were very satisfied with this hotel. Clean and neat, pleasant staff, decent breakfast and nice outdoor pool. All in a handy location to the interstate and eating establishments.

I was pleasantly surprised how nice my stay at the Jameson Inn was. Our room was very clean, the employees were very helpful and polite, and the hotel was very nice especially for the price I paid. The hotel is very convenient to surrounding restaurants, downtown and UT, and the mall. I will definately be staying here again in the future.
