Conveniently located off I75. Restaurant was closed permanently so no food available. Other restaurants were close by. Room was clean an suitable.

You DEFINITELY get your money's worth. If hot water, decent water pressure and a nice pool is important to you, DON'T STAY HERE. Pool WOULD be nice IF the area was heated and it closed early (says it closes at 11pm, it was closed at 9:30pm). We wanted a hotel with an indoor pool and this was one of the few in our price range. You could tell there had been some remodeling since a little bit of the paint was crumbling off the wall in our bathroom. It was unseasonably cool when we stayed and the pool room was quite cold. Older Inn it was ok for the one night stay. We were satisfied for the time we stayed there. I would not stay there for extended amount of time. It was good for the football game. We left early the next morning. Very good location.

There is a definite problem with the on-site restaurant which is open Fri. night only and is for sale. The obvious lack of interest by the hotel staff about this problem somewhat put me off but the hotel location was of primary interest due to the nature of my visit so I can overlook the rest this time.

We had 6 people staying in our room with 2 beds and a sofa couch. The shower would not drain after the first person had showered and we had 5 other people that needed to shower. We called the front desk several times. They finally sent someone up there with a plunger and clorox? Needless to say, that did not work. They moved us to another room to shower […] and this room only slept 4 people. They had to bring in a roll away cot. They then told us that they would probably move us back to our other room later in the day. They did not. It was not a pleasant experience, and we will not be staying there again. Читати далі

This hotel was ok as far as cleanliness except the shower had mold around the edges of the tub. Towels and sheets smelled fresh. It could use some updating. I wouldn't want to stay there for an extended period of time but overnight on a trip was ok.

While old and a little musty smelling in the public areas, our room was great, with a recently updated bathroom. Beds were nice and comfortable. Indoor pool was great for a rainy day. The staff were very accomodating when we got to town early. Tons of restaurants nearby, slept thru breakfast.

It's as basic as a hotel can get, but you have interior door access and a clean room. The decor isn't great and hasn't been updated in quite a while although the carpet looked relatively new. However, that wasn't particularly important to us for one night. The sheets and mattresses were comfortable though standard, no pillowtops or 600-count sheets. […] :) The bathrooms had a hair dryer. There was cable on the older-model TV. The rooms did not have refrigerators. There was a restaurant in the hotel that appeared to be open on Friday nights, and there was a breakfast room for the continental breakfast, which we didn't have. There were convenient vending and ice machines, and while we didn't use it, I saw the indoor pool and thought it looked fine. The entire hotel felt basic, clean and convenient, which, for the rate, was all anyone could ask. It was right off the interstate near several other hotels, and it was convenient to several restaurants, mostly chains and fast food, going in either direction as well as a grocery store, a Walgreen's and a bank. We traveled with three children (18mos to 11yrs old) overnight for a concert, and the convenience was a huge factor for us. It was easy to run out for contact solution and to pick up snacks and bananas for the youngest. We also had adjoining rooms, which are rare in newer hotels, so it was nice to put the chains on the hallway doors, open the adjoining doors and feel like we had a suite. The room was very spacious, but needs a lot of repairs. There must have been a water leak above my room because the roof above the tub was flaking. The grout in the bathroom was dirty and needs a good painting.

Our room was clean and comfortable.

We had 2 rooms for 2 nights. The rooms were nice, clean, and fairly good maintenance. Did notice that one electrical outlet in our room was out of service, and the other one was loose from the wall, but otherwise everything worked. The continental breakfast was nice, not overdone. Staff were curteous and helpful. Nice stay overall.

Beds were hard. Rooms are in dire need of updating. We were assigned a room, opened the door and it wasn't cleaned; an honest mistake, but made my stomach turn, nonetheless. It definately should have been cheaper for the quality of the motel.

Clean, quiet, and convenient.

I chose this hotel because it had a great rate and we only needed to stay there one night, plus it had an indoor pool that I thought my children would enjoy. The hotel has had some renovations (new carpet) and appears to be working on more, which should make it a much nicer place. We didn't see any bugs or any signs of "critters" and believe me, I looked for them! We used the indoor pool and it was a nice size and clean, although there were no towels in that area and we had to bring ours from our room. We noticed they had recently covered over a nearby hot tub with cement. We were able to get a rollaway bed and extra pillows/towels from the front desk quickly once we requested them. We did not have the breakfast but it appeared to be standard cereal/pastry type things. I've been in all kinds of hotels from the $200/night places on down, and this was far from the worst one I've been in. Don't stay here if you want a ritzy hotel because that's not what you'll get. My son and I stayed at this Days Inn. Trying to be objective, I would say the motel was ok, not horribly bad or terrifically great, just ok. We had room 105. The room was clean but both drains in the tub and sink drained very slow. The beds were fine and so was everything else otherwise. The breakfast is also decent (cereal, biscuits/gravy, waffles). […] I would not pick this motel for my wife and I because I try to treat her special when we travel but for my son and I, it was fine. This is probably one of the nicer Days Inns that I have stayed at. It is very affordable accommodation, and the staff are pleasant. It is however located in the north of Knoxville, and is not in the most convenient of locations. It is a reasonable drive from the downtown and airport areas, and not close to Oak Ridge. The hotel was comfortable and fairly clean except for the pool area. The pool area was cold, dark, and dirty.

I thought it was very close to everything we needed. It was a relatively nice place, and nicely priced. No need to go elsewhere, if you have a car, or like basic hotels. Save money. :-)

This is a good place to stay if you are just looking to have a bed to crash on. The rooms were clean and the people were helpful. They use the free breakfast as a selling point, but it is not very good. In fact, I just skipped it after the first day. Again the price is right for a place to crash, just don't eat there.

the staff at the hotel was nice. the room was cleanas was the lobby.

If you have a car (probably a must in Knoxville) and need a super cheap motel--here's your winner. Don't expect anything. Breakfast was ok, but don't expect anything fancy.

Sheet and carpet were dirty and made me feel bad. The fan was so noisy and dirty. I will not recommend this hotel horrible for me.

Cleaning crew was insistant we leave the room before 11 AM after we had driven 13 hours to get to Knoxville. Three times they banged on the door for us to get out. Hotel was old needs rehab, bed comfortable pillows not. Did not meet expectations.

Great for the money but needs to be updated. It was nice to have an elevator but there was only one for four floors. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.

We stayed 5 nights at this hotel because it was less than a mile from the inlaws house, and it was definetly a lot better than an airmattress on the living room floor. It is an older hotel and you can tell that rooms where being updated, there was some mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. the pool was extremely cold. The desk clerk was nice, but that's about it. The beds were hard, the pillows flat and lumpy. The whole room was overwhelmed with some sort of cleaner or air freshener that was disguising some other smell. Luckily it was only a "pit stop" of less than 6hrs to catch some shut eye and get a shower.

The place was ok if all you wanted was a room to stay in and go. The stairwell was very dirty.

room was clean and beds were comfortable which is all I was really looking for with the cheap price but it's not a "destination" hotel but one just to get some rest in and move on. Very convenient access off of interstate.

The only thing that upset me of this hotel was that there was no fridge, no microwave and the remote control to the TV didn't work. Other than that it was a good place to sleep and shower.

this was by far the worst hotels.com experience I've ever had. The bed was rock hard, the room was grungy/dirty and I felt somewhat unsafe with the other guests there. The only good thing is that it is interior entry rooms. The front desk person was also nice. I would definitely NOT recommend staying here - pick any other hotel.

The room and overall hotel was very clean, newly rennovated, and a great value for the money. It is in a safe location near other hotels. They had a great breakfast although it was a little crowded...the indoor pool looked really nice too. Overall a great place to stay!

I have stayed at the Hotel before and it served our purposes for overnight stay. The restuarant/bar was closed so we maded other plans for dinner. The room could use the refrigerator/microwave option that are at other Days Inn I have stayed at.

The hotel was way above my expectations. I got a cheap deal on the room and was expecting a dingy room, but the room and hotel were very clean and extremely satisfied with the experience. Only complain was that the window curtain was too long and fell over the air conditioner, which blocked the air flow and was a bit irritating. But overall, very good […] experience. Читати далі

For the price I guess it wasn't bad. The person at the desk was very helpful on check in and a credit to any organization. However the place was run down and the room smelled strongly of disinfectant covering up something you could not identify.

This was a great place. The staff were very friendly and most helpful. The hotel was located near several well known resturants.The only thing was that they did not have wi-fi in the rooms.I would stay there again.

Knoxville Days Inn-North was just what we were looking for. We wanted a cheap room right off I-75. That's what we got, a hotel right off the interstate and although it was not the newest of hotels everything was very kept up and clean.
