ALL WAS GOOD UNTIL I HAD TO PAY FOR PARKING PLUS THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD AN EXTRA &7.00 FOR I DON'T EVEN KNOW. THEY DIDNT EVEN LET ME KNOW WHY!!! NOT COOL TO DO!!!

Loved it! Especially the part of how I found such a great hotel, so close to the Rivercenter during Fiesta Week at an incredibly great price!! Everything about it was great, from Mason the valet to Stephanie in housekeeping, beginning to end, it was a great weekend.

I cant see why anybody would need anything more. Best value for money ever.

We had a great experience at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Nice one bedroom suite with all the necessary kitchen equipment for a longer stay. Surrounding area was a little noisy at night but not enough to keep me awake. 5 minute walk from the Riverwalk and other attractions. Very good value.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel :) the service was great and the breakfast was good and ambiance was nice. I felt like I was home. The studio room was worth every penny and was spacious. Hotel was close to everything to enjoy walking and enjoy the scenery.

I was looking forward to spending a nice weekend with my husband in San Antonio, but I quickly regretted my hotel choice. Staff was unfriendly, the room was very dated, and the hotel is under major construction. I could barely hear myself think with all the noise. I will never stay here again. we enjoyed our stay at this hotel . great location service etc and even though it had renovations going on didn't effect our stay . however the club next door kept us up on Saturday night till 230 . so I would reccomend it for other nights of the week .

The room was excellent and the customer service was great!

The hotel was only a few blocks from the Alamo and the Riverwalk. It was very clean and the staff was most helpful and friendly. The breakfast was good and there is even a dinner provided in the evening for hotel guests. We would most definitely stay again and recommend the Hotel to friends and family.

The room was clean, roomy and the service was excellent. All of the staff was friendly. A problem with one of the toilets in our two bedroom, two bath suite was resolved immediately. Very easy walk to the RiverCenter mall, Alamo and the Riverwalk. Complementary rollaway bed, internet and a fabulous full breakfast made this a great bargain.

We had a wonderful time in San Antonio and the hotel was a part of it.

The hotel is only a block from the Alamo and 2 blocks from the Riverwalk. The suites make it easy to travel with kids. Plus they have a really good hot breakfast and a "social hour" most evenings that can substitute for a dinner out. And it includes beer and wine.

we stayed there for five nights. we have two kids. we love the room we had. It is good to have a kitchen when you have a little baby. The breakfast is fine. But sometimes, especially during the weekends, the area is a little bit too crowded. other than that the hotel is very good, family friendly.

It was great for our purposes. We had to meet our daughter in SA, and the pull out couch bed was a real + feature for us. The kitchen has full capabilities. Large swivel HD TV great also. This room reaaly met the needs of our family with a 2 room suite, a kitchenette and a living room area with a pull out couch bed. It was walking distance to the Riverwalk and many stores. The parking was easy and the staff were friendly.

Room was great. Cold A\C, comfortable bed and space in the studio room. Bathroom very clean as well. We stayed over the July 4th weekend and the hotel was packed. We had two issues. Everything was OK except that we had to pay extra for the parking.

We loved this hotel! The breakfast selection was incredible, so much to choose from. Our romm was perfect for us and we even added another night. We would definitely stay here again. The staff was always friendly and helpful, especially the housekeeping staff!

hotel was clean, staff was friendly, all around good stay... breakfast was good, a plus, as other surrounding hotels do not have complimentary hot breakfast... parking was $22 which was annoying and ridiculous - parking should be included in rental - just another way for hotels to make a profit, i guess...

My sister and I drove to San Antonio for a long weekend of theatre + some in-state sightseeing; we were specifically looking for a hotel room that had its own sitting area and kitchenette in the Alamo area. This Marriott hotel delivered. Our studio was very clean and comfortable. One excellent feature was the (large) vanity across from the closet and not in with the bath/toilet. A nice hotel feature was the several lifts (3 or 4), it was nice not having to wait for just one lift. The breakfast in the morning was very good and had lots of variety. The photo of the building is a bit deceiving, as the hotel is not looming over or directly beside the Alamo, but it's only 2 blocks away. Overall, it was a good value. Good size rooms for the price, they looked bigger in person than they appeared online. Great location, walking distance to river walk / Alamo and bars and restaurants. The hotel is very basic, you walk in the front doors; to the left is a very small breakfast area and small outdoor pool. To your right, check in desk, snack area and elevators to your room. If you take a few steps forward, you will walk right back out of the building and enter the parking garage. All rooms in the hotel are non smoking, which can be good or bad depending on your preferences. There were things that I didnt care for about this hotel, but because the size of the rooms and the convenience of location, the pros outweigh the cons, its a good value for the price, most suitable for family vacation. The kids and wife had a great time! That's all that matters! One block from the Alamo and two from the Riverwalk.

Had early check in (1:00), room was great and clean. We were there just one nite so did not use the kitchen . 1 block from Alamo and 3 blocks from river walk. The free breakfast was good (lots of choices) but a bit of a zoo as lots of kids were there for start of Memorial day weekend. Overall we were very pleased with the room and service.

the hotel was great n so was the free breakfast they we were mainly the to jus sleep due to all tha fesivities that fiesta has to offer n it was a prtty good location, we will deffenitly be staying there again next year for fiesta.........

We had requested extra towels and were brought them promptly along with a follow up phone call to ensure we had received them. I will stay here whenever I'm in San Antonio! Great staff, so close to everything yet without the noise of staying on the Riverwalk (only 3 blocks away), and wonderful breakfasts! I slept well every night (something unusual for me away from home).

Was originally going to stay at the Grand Hyatt, a few blocks away, but they were out of space when I went to reserve so I tried the Residence Inn instead (at roughly half the cost). Boy, am I happy that I did! My room was large and tastefully appointed, clean and quiet. Everything worked the way it should. It was a little disappointing to find out […] that they only hand hard wired ethernet rather than wireless on the floor I was on, but it was fast and worked great. The breakfasts were excellent, including scrambled eggs, breakfast meats (sausage a couple of days, turkey Canadian Bacon another, etc.), a wide assortment of pastries, etc. -- probably the nicest hotel buffet breakfast I've had in a long time. This hotel was in a great location for me and my family to walk back and forth to the nearby attractions, even with young children. We were able to walk to the mall, the Almo,and the Alamodome safely. Breakfast was great!!

what a wonderful hotel experience!! we had a jr suite, it was just perfect!! it was our 22nd anniversary and my father-in-laws 75th birthday weekend, of course this also falls on spring break weekend. we were able to book 2 rooms, the price was perfect, and it included free breakfast buffet. I was kinda worried about the condition before our arrival, […] since I was booking for my in-laws also, but marriott has never failed us in the past. We arrived for check-in, the people were sooo friendly and made it very easy. we had a room on the 11th floor, the hotel was very clean and nice. We arrived to our room, it was absolutely wonderful!! living area, queen sizes bed , large vanity and dressing area, and of course the kitchen with all that you may need. it was sooo spacious. The location was great also. the alamo around the corner, and river walk was just a short walk, easy access to the trolley line for the market place too. We even found a liquor store to buy a bottle of champagne for fri nite around the corner. The breakfast was great!! eggs,sausage, waffles, fresh fruit, cereal, it was perfect for us to start our day with. The staff also cleaned up the tables very quickly. Every employee we met up with from the valet to the maids were very pleasant and friendly, of course this is texas . lots to do. This hotel was perfect for our trip. It is walking distance from the Alamo and the area was very safe; we felt very comfortable walking at night with our children. Excellent.

The hotel was great the room was very nice. I had a Junior suite and it was very nice. It was 2 blocks from the Alamo. The only downside to this place is parking is high $'s - expensive even for San Antonio.

My husband and I stayed here to bring in the New Year in downtown San Antonio. Overall the room was lovely and clean and we had a great view of downtown. The only thing that bothered me was that the picture on the website is a bit deceiving. The hotel isn't directly behind the Alamo, it's across the street and down a few blocks. Can't say enough about the value and quality of this hotel. Free breakfast was great. Hotel employees were friendly. Price was right. Proximity to Alamo/Riverwalk was excellent.

Within walking distance of everything we wanted to do. This hotel was great, rooms are clean and large. Kitchen had all appliances, cooking utensils, coffee, popcorn and ice. Breakfast was ok. We never moved the car after the bell man took it. The trolley system takes you everywhere and drivers are helpful. Riverwalk is so close you have lots of choices. Good value and close to Riverwalk. there is a large building under construction across the street from the hotel entrance which detracts from attractiveness of the area.

Great locations - convenient to riverwalk - very quiet hotel - will stay there again
