The only thing missing was a bath

The hotel did not live up to the rating. The workout facilities were limited and were located in a musty smelling basement room. Also, the whirlpool area was locked and apparently not functioning. The rooms were small. The bathroom was so small that I needed to enter the main room in order to dry off after showering.

Overall it was pretty good for the price. Fairly close to downtown etc. I like how it says 'all rooms include...city view and mountain view' Our room on the 2nd floor had a view of the roof and that is all. The fridge was a very nice size and the beds were comfy.

Exceptionally nice staff. Very clean and great location for our visit to Calgary. I was pleasantly surprised of the cleanliness of the room. Very tastefully decorated. Beds were very comfy and linens were very soft. Great pub, fine resturant and family resturant all on site. We did not eat there so I can't comment on the food. We stayed for one night. It was very pleasant. Someone came to the door in the evening and offered us complimentary chocolate chip cookies. That was a real nice touch. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were really puffy and very relaxing. I awoke very refreshed. The food in the restaurant is delicious and reasonably priced.

Hotel was decent but not at all outstanding. Bar food was good, and bar was nice. Across street from Hotel is the largest Country Bar around and is always packed. Alot of fun. Condition of Hotel was a little outdated but overall was fine.

We stayed one night a the end of our 25th year wedding anniversary trip to the Canadien Rockies. When the hotel hostess found out it was our silver anniversary, she had a complementary champagne and cheese platter awaiting when we got back from our night out. What a nice touch and extremely pleasant staff!!

Only problems: 1. NO extractor fan in bathroom 2. Room 312, positioned over airconditioning or similar so very noisy...

We had a great two night stay at the Carriage House Inn! When we arrived our room was not ready, but because of this they bumped us up to a VIP Room on the 9th floor. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were very clean. We even requested new blankets and they were in the room on the 9th floor even before we got there! Great service! The room have been renovated and very comfortable all ammenities are available, the menu for breakfast & dinner are superb and the cost is very reasonable

In the information section it said that the room that we stayed in was a middle class room, the hotel staff said it was a entry level room. In the review of this hotel in the information it said that this hotel was airconditioned. Indeed it was, but it was central air and not a thermostat in the room. The temperature was between 20 C and 23 C. Also […] it was not mentioned that there was no bathtub only a shower. This is the first hotel I have stayed at with out one. It too was not mentioned. The room we stayed in has been renovated about half way. I do not recomend staying here in the mid-spring to Mid Summer cause of no room controlled air-conditioners. Читати далі

This hotel provided a most pleasant stay. The room was immaculate and well apponted.The bed was very comfortable. The toiletries provided were of good quality. The towels were thick and fluffy. The staff was friendly and helpful. Chocolate chip ookies were provided in my room for me every day.There was an onsite restaurant, where the food was decent […] and moderately priced. Everything met the description, Front desk was very helpful, and professional...only thing i didnt like was house cleaning knocking and waking me up before checkout time when i had the do not disturb sign on the door, but everything else was superb.

I loved My room was very nice and comfy. quiet. was very clean. Service was excellent.

Carriage House Inn has some nice ammenities but it's starting to look tired... needs renovating.

This hotel is one of the best values in south Calgary and is one where we have stayed several times. We would not hesitate to stay there again. There are a number of restaurants in the area if you don't want to eat in the hotel and a Starbucks a stone's throw away. Nice staff, convenient restaurants, yummy bakery.

Freshly-baked chocolate chip cookies every night are a very nice and delicious touch. Hotel restaurant solid and a good value. Pub is fun. Will definitely stay again.

Hotel liegt nicht im Stadtzenrum, dafür sind Supermärkte gleich um die Ecke, Starbucks auch. Das Hotel ist schon alt, Gänge und Räume sehr duster. Zum Übernachten für ein oder 2 Nächte ist es aber okay

Für ein Hotel außerhalb Downtown sehr gut ausgestattet. Wesentliche Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in den direkt umliegenden Service Plaza's. Gute Qualität der Betten, gerade wenn man mehrere Nächte verbringen möchte. 2km entfernt befindet sich die Calgary City Train, um nach Downtown zu kommen. Man muss also nicht umbedingt alles mit dem Auto erledigen.
