It's a very safe, quiet and convenience environment. The garden is very beautiful, which made me feel that I am not only stay in a garden but a forest with many beautiful flower around. The room is clean and cosy.

Stayed here many times. The only thing I don't like is their reconstituted (frozen & microwaved) egg patty. It doesn't taste good. Otherwise, they do a pretty good job.

"Very good value for money!"
Sometimes you get a surprise when you check in to hotels, but normally it's a negative one. Not so at the Maple Tree Inn! Friendly staff, nice rooms, decent breakfast! Even the pool area looked nice! Highly recommended!!

"Good Business Class Hotel"
From the moment I saw the Maple Tree Inn, I knew that I would be staying in a nice hotel. I got lost finding the place due to an incorrect Google Maps direction that placed me in the Mountain View instead of Sunnyvale. A phone call to the Maple Tree Inn was answered by a very friendly woman who gave me precise directions that had me in the lobby in […] five minutes. The check-in was quick and friendly and the lobby was clean, modern and nice looking. They even had a free happy hour with drinks and appetizers. My room was simply and comfortably furnished with a queen sized bed, armoire, desk with chair, small table, and a padded side chair. It had an older CRT type television that I did not use. There was also a small refrigerator and microwave oven. The clock radio was flashing 12:00AM. The bathroom was clean and properly stocked with towels and complementary toiletries. The bed was comfortable, and I had a quiet sleep. When I awoke at 6:30 AM, I heard loud talking that at first seemed to be coming from the parking lot below, but turned out to be the person in the next room. I turned on my iPod and played ocean waves through my portable speakers to drown out the voice (I highly recommend carrying a setup like I had for precisely this reason). In the morning, they had a free breakfast buffet with cereals, prefab egg disks (that tasted OK), toast, waffles, fruit and beverages. I found it to be adequate. "Decent hotel"
Decor is a bit dated but fully serviceable. Room was clean and linens were changed daily. Parking was adequate. Neighborhood was safe enough, I didn't feel at all uncomfortable after dark. Ceilings are a bit low, made the shower feel a little claustrophobic. Mounting of the shower head was off center, made for an awkward shower. Very low flow shower […] head made rinsing a pain. Wireless Internet was painfully slow, wired was fine. Breakfast was of usual hotel buffet type quality, good but nothing to write home about. TV was tube type if that matters. While I _DID NOT_ see any evidence of bed bugs the hotel has been reported to have problems in the recent past, do your due diligence. Overall not a bad experience for the price. We are currently discussing this issue. We have been continuously meeting with our internet provider to improve our connectivity throughout our hotel. We encounter “hot” spots and “low” spots but we are trying to find parity throughout our property. On the topic of bed bugs, we have had a couple bed bug findings, but we have not had a hotel wide infestation. We are very prompt on exterminating the bugs immediately after a report has been made. We quarantine the room for at least a week after the extermination process before making it available for guests. Our housekeeping is also required to inspect for bed begs on a daily basis. We have not had this problem recently, but we are aware that bed bugs are active travelers year round. Our hope is to never encounter this problem, but realistically it can happen. In the event that we do encounter this problem, we resolve the issue promptly and encourage a safe and clean environment for our valued guests. "Worth spending my own money"
I've been staying at the Maple Tree off and on for over 4 years now and I've NEVER been disappointed. The staff is excellent, the facility are good and I've always felt the value (I spend my own money) is the best of the many places I've used when staying in the Silicon Valley. "3/18/12 Nice stay"
Was there for 5 nights. Clean room, made bed and fresh towels daily as expected. Room was dated with older fixtures and decor but everything I needed. Staff was helpful and the hotel is in a safe area. Wish there were more restaurant options close by. Internet is wired or wireless but is fairly slow. That is my only true complaint. "Noisy Rooms"
The sound proofing in the rooms was not adequate and the hallways could certainly use a touch up. Otherwise the hotel was "ok".

"Nice place for a get-away"
The low price and good reviews of this hotel drew me to it. The reviews were pretty much spot on: very good value, clean and comfortable, nice breakfast with make-your-own waffle makers, sausage, and pre-made ... omelet patties? The bananas were actually ripe! There were also Asian offerings of fresh steamed rice, miso soup, and packages of nori and […] ramen in a cup. I took off a point for service because the front desk was empty when I came to check in at about 6pm and when I checked out at 10 am. I didn't need to wait more than a couple of minutes, but I found that odd. The lady in the breakfast area was attentive and kept the buffet well-stocked and the tables clean. My husband enjoyed the spa..nice and warm. And the fitness room was clean and in good order. Our room was comfortable, clean, and quiet. Nice amenities. I would come here again. Читати далі

I lived here for a week. Staff was very courteous. Easy check in and check out procedure. Rooms were neat and clean. House keeping was great. There are couple issues. I found some bed bugs in the rooms, air conditioner was little noisy. They have a breakfast buffet with several varieties but same menu every day. not bad.

Bed bugs are not a hotel wide issue, but in the event that one or more are found we take extreme measures to correct the problem. We work with Orkin to inspect the Hotel once a month. In addition, our housekeeping has been extensively trained by Orkin to find these bed bugs. If and when they are found the room is quarantined for more than a week. We will conduct an inspection immediately. Thank you again for bringing this issue to our attention.

"Maple Tree"
I booked the Maple Tree as an affordable last minute option for a show at the Santa Clara Convention Center. The hotel is about six miles away, so you do need to drive a little. The hotel was clean, staff was friendly, plenty of parking, good neighborhood and the free breakfast was excellent.

Very friendly staff. Rooms are quite outdated, but well taken care of. Small bathrooms. No frills, just a pool. Breakfast was very good.

"OK, but not as nice as the reviews had me believe"
Based on the reviews I recommended the hotel to an important business associate as we were travelling to Mounatin View on business. He arrived on the weekend but I could tell he was not very hapy with my choice. He said that the cleaning crew interrupted his morning workout every morning, even though he tried going at different times. My room was clean […] and quiet, but I had asked for one away from the street as recommended on this site. The breakfast is underwhelming (where do hotels find these little frisbees made of scrambled eggs?). There's nothing really wrong with the place, but I have stayed at nicer ones in the area for the same money. I don't think it should rate a 4 review when it's supposed to be a 3-star hotel. I have stayed here 4-5 times in the last three years and it is always a pleasure. Breakfast is nice, room is comfortable, staff members are nice and helpful.

"Think twice if you want to stay an xtra night here"
What ever you do, ask first before you ask to stay another night past your reservation. They virtually double the price and claim they are fully booked. Strange since there are about 30 cars in the parking lot of 200 rooms.

"Great place for the price!"
Though the rooms are a little dated I really enjoyed this hotel. The complimentary snacks and beverages in the evening are great. And breakfast starting at 5am was great. I will stay here again!!
"Maple Tree - convenience and full breakfast"
This is a 3 story hotel. This was our 4th stay here over the past 2 years. The location is very good for us. Others love the breakfast including an Asian and American buffet, but tempts my spouse too much. The staff are friendly and rooms quiet. We had a hard time adjusting the heater and keeping the water hot but not scalding, but never had this issue […] before so it probably was just a temporary issue. "Good value, friendly staff"
I pay my own way when I stay in the valley and I've been a regular of the Maple Tree for a number of years. The staff is excellent, friendly and helpful. The grounds are nice and well kept. The rooms are clean and well maintained, nothing too fancy but well equipped and I've never had any problems with plumbing, electrical, etc. The desk and chair […] are limited but it's nice to have free Wi-Fi. A good breakfast selection and complimentary drinks and snack happy hour are a real bonus. They upgraded the pool and grounds and they're currently renovating some rooms. A bit of construction clutter but they're good about not letting it effect the guests. This is a property that shows pride and care by the owners. But it's really the staff that brings me back. I consider the Maple Tree my second home when I'm in the valley. Читати далі

We've tried a couple of inexpensive hotels near husband's son's family. This one is ok, however it smelled a little like urine in the lobby and in the room. As this hotel allows pets, we weren't surprised and were looking for place we could bring our dog in the future. The room was ok. bed a little hard, tolietries excellent. Basic place without much character. No theme or outstanding architecture. Breakfast selection is good; typical off-the-shelf sorts of foods: bananas, toaster french toast, muffins. Seem to have more in the way of eastern selections: hot rice and broth.

"Maple Tree Inn - Sunnyvale, CA"
My wife and I stayed at this motel for a week and found it very acceptable. The bed was comfortable and the room was always clean. It was a little inconvenient to watch TV since there was only one moveable chair in the room. The breakfast was A number one in both quality and variety.
