The transportation to this motel is very convenient by just using the courtesy phone in the LAX airport when we arrived. The motel itself is nice and decent and worth its price. I was afraid that the noise of airplanes would be disturbing. Happily it was not. The continental breakfast and the restaurant are not bad either.

Visited Shelter in May 2010, the rooms are big and clean, in a reasonable price. The room is simple in a stylish way, quite comfortable. King size bed is good, you can get a good sleep there. It is in the Korean Town, located in the city. Location is quite convenient. Hotel provides free parking space at ground floor. The staff is friendly. It's a good place to stay in LA.

Located in high class beautiful Beverly Hill area. Walking distance to Rodeo Drive and Beverly Hill residential area. Very convenient and quiet. A small hotel with no lift or elevator to go upstairs, so have to carry luggage to the second floor. The staff are very helpful and nice. Facilities are basic but neat. Breakfast is basic. A little bit expensive but the location worths it. It is quite good as a last stop to relax and walk around, or to drive to anywhere. Bus stops are available outside the hotel going to Santa Monica or Hollywood area too.

Don't be fooled by the brand "Sheraton"--it's not. But if you can somehow sign up on the Internet to get a deal 60% of the real Sheraton, I wouldn't complain. it's close to the airport, with a nice shuttle service to LAX, but you have to be content with the Burger King nearby, because that is not only eating place within walking distance. I had dinner, and breakfast, and mostly the time i had the place to myself. Otherwise you need to shell pout 16 bucks for breakfast.

The hotel is GREAT ! From the lobby, the front desk, all the way to the room, everything is more than fine. Me and my wife are very impressed and we hope would have stayed longer -- we got there at 11:30PM and stayed for only one night. Gotta come to stay if we hit the city again.

Amazing service - bell hop gave us an overview of the hotel after dropping off our bags when we arrived and put our bags in the car so quick we didn't even realize it when we left. Never seemed to expect tips. Free wine from 5-6pm. We brought our 2 dogs (40 and 60 lbs each) and they loved taking walks among the beautiful houses in the neighborhood right […] behind the hotel. No extra fees or pet restrictions (although if they cause damage you're fully responsible). Almost everyone in the hotel had a pet. Pool area is small and doesn't seem to get a lot of sun, but location is very convienant. Will stay there again for sure! Читати далі

The hotel is very nice, but the one restaurant is a little pricey and there is very little within walking distance. Very convienent location on Wilshire.

Wonderful staff ..everyone including the parking valets, bellmen, front desk to housekeeping were so nice and helpful. The rooms very well appointed and the location is close to everything. A great value as well...

"Credit Card was charged twice!!!"
The hotel lights didn't work, so the bell man said he would send up an engineer which never happened. My credit card was charged twice, 6 days later still has not been returned!! The valet guy didn't have change so took the large bill and walked into the hotel. My husband and I have stayed here twice with our dogs and LOVE IT!! We always have the best time and never feel like we are staying at a "pet friendly" hotel! The rooms are beautiful and comfortable. An excellent choice for the hip-crowd. Breakfast was good except the bacon was fatty and had no flavor - but every pig is different! Only complaint was the car vale t- call an hour ahead to get your car!

"Palomar - LA Better than Okay"
Loved this place. Hotel was funky and classy at the some time. Very comfortable and clean and modern. Loved it all except parking for vistors. Definitely recommend a stay here. One of the better hotels we stayed in on our US trip.

"Needs a coffee shop"
Overall it was classic Kimpton; slightly self-conscious hipsterism. The only thing that would make a big difference is the availability of some kind of breakfast food to go with the free coffee in the lobby. Bagels, coffee cake, croissants...something.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel staff went our of their way to be helpful, and the room was excellent. Also appreciated the free wine at happy hour - great way to take a break from exploring LA.

Made a reservation last mintue and got a great deal on a great room! The staff meant all of my requests (a quite upper room with foam pillows) and gave me also a free upgrade. I work in this area a few times a year and will look to stay here again!

Loved everything about this hotel. The staff were incredible - so helpful and friendly. Lovely room and very convenient location.
Great hotel. Very hip. I have two gripes; the first, is that there is not much to do within walking distance. The Palomar is a terrific hotel - wine at night, coffee in the morning, clean, convenient, efficient staff. My only complaint was the pillows - which were too big and hard. The front desk told me I could have asked for other pillows - so they had a solution, just too late for me to know about it.

"Lovely Hotel very close to Beverly Hills"
We had a lovely stay at this hotel. Friendly and very helpful staff. You must love pets esp. dogs as this is a pet-friendly hotel and MANY patrons have dogs. Very neat and I would definitely recommend this hotel!

We got a very good price on the room and it was great for what it was. It is not a luxury hotel, rather a really nice mid-range place. People with allergies beware: lots of dogs.

"Great Hotel and wonderful Staff"
The hotel staff was amazing and the room was beyond comfortable. We had to stay with our 2 dogs and the hotel is completely pet friendly. My dogs each got a bed and water bowls. The floors were nice and quiet and all of the staff had smiles on their faces. Can't wait to stay again!
