Huge room with minibar, but my room is near elevator, a bit noisy at night. Located in a small alley, so quiet at night and in walk distance to take bus and train.

The price is not high, but you can get the more you pay. The room is tiny. The balcony is good too. You can enjoy a nice breakfast in the balcony. You can also boil water in your room. The location is also good. Not far away from Railway Station and it just locate at the main shopping road. It's also close to the beach.

The Hotel was going through revovations. We did not get a renovated room and way over paid for a room that is not even up to a one star rating! The carpet was disgusting and the walls super thin! Basic room but it did the job..great that it was located so close to everything.. walking distance to bus, train station, old town and beach... Lovely breakfast plenty of choice! Bar was quite expensive though would recommend
"VERY GOOD, more the expected..."
Really enjoyed Nice and the Mercure Grimaldi. Was in Italy and France for two weeks Aug 1-14th and was in Nice for 3 nights. Had a great time. The hotel is close to beach and shopping/restaurants but not so close it's annoying. Quick 2 min walk to shopping beach is only 5-10max. Hotel has a mini fridge and there is a grocery store litterally right outside […] the door which is so handy for cheap breaky and beer/wine. Room is a little dated but was probably the biggest room we stayed in on our two week holiday in Europe. AC worked well. Carpet is old and needs torn up but that was our ONLY thing we didn't like. Shower has a tub which was clean and big. No complaints what so ever. Had an amazing trip and hope to be back again. Читати далі

Small, old rooms needing and upgrade, paint missing stains on wall paper and expensive for what you got, stay else where
"Overpriced and poor condition"
Hotel was expensive and we thought would be pretty decent but we turned up to find a tiny dated bedroom that looked like it had been subdivided from the room adjacent to squeeze another room out. Bathroom was dated also and looked like its interior design was assembled by Stevie Wonder. Limited TV options too for an international chain (BBC news 24 […] only English channel...there's only so many times I want to know about the weather..not even the weather for Nice). Reception and bar were comparable to a morgue. Local area full of prostitutes and vagrants. I'd probably spend your money elsewhere. Читати далі

"Good hotel, great location!"
This hotel is in a great spot and is good value for money. It's a short walk to the beach and slightly longer to the train station. Very clean and modern. The breakfast was also really good. All in all, great location, and great value.
"great location-shame about the shoebox"
Great hotel, good location but the "superior" room was a shoebox. When I complained I was told it was superior as it had been recently refurbished. We could not come back the next day at 12 to move rooms, but negotiated half price breakfast which, at £16 per head was overpriced. Pleasant staff.

"un buon hotel a due passi da tutto"
L'albergo Mercure è un buon albergo, le camere sono pulite, la colazione è ottima ed abbondante (hanno anche dei prodotti bio buonossimi...), è in una zona silenziosa (se non ci sono i cassonetti da svuotare nel cuore della notte...) e a due passi da Place Massena e dalla città vecchia. Per alcune cose direi che più che un 4 stelle è un 3 stelle Super: […] abbiamo trovato la moquette della camera sporca in alcuni pezzi, la vasca del bagno era crepata e il lavandino un pò opaco (dall'usura). "Hôtel Mercure-Grimaldi proche du vieux Nice"
Aspect extérieur TB; accueil excellent, personnalisé, conseils judicieux (gare, commerces, petit sac de "découvertes", restaurants, ...) Chambre silencieuse mais pas très fraîche (peinturesdes murs défraîchie, traces de souliers bas des murs, tapis-plain à remplacer d'urgence tant il est sâle (nous n'osions pas marcher sans souliers ou pantouffles...,) […] pas assez d'espaces de rangement, petit frigo non garni,...) Par contre, possibilté de faire un petit café et une bouteille d'eau offerte > TB! Salle de bain spacieuse et chaude mais rideau de douche "jauni" dans le bas,... Linge parfaitement propre, draps changés tous les jours mais oreillers de très mauvaise qualité (synthétiques), matelas correct. Petit-déjeuner parfait (rien à dire). Siisti keskusta hotelli josta on lyhyt matka rantaan, ostoskaduille sekä vanhaan kaupunkiin. Koko henkilökunta puhui englantia mikä on harvinaista ranskanmaalla...erittäin ystävällinen palvelu. Aamupala kuului huoneen hintaan. Suosittelen!

Bodde på Mercure Grimaldi en uke i august 2011. Meget sentral beliggenhet både til restauranter og promenaden/stranda. Kjapp og grei innsjekk, hyggelig rom med sjarm, som var meget rent. Noe støy fra trafikk siden det ligger sentralt, og det må man forvente i en by. Nydelig taktrerasse med stoler og bord! "Loistava sijainti"
Mercure Nice Grimaldi sijaitsee loistavalla paikalla Rue Massena -kävelykadun tuntumassa. Rantaan kävelee hotellilta muutamassa minuutissa ja parhaimmat kaupat ja ravintolat sijaitsevat ihan kulman takana. Hotellin henkilökunta oli ystävällistä ja palvelu moitteetonta. Huone oli aika pieni ja sänky vähän lyhyt, mutta plussaa muhkeasta peitosta ja extra-tyynyistä. […] Näköala ei ollut kehuttava, mutta eipä sitä nyt lomalle hotellin ikkunasta tulla tuijottamaan kuitenkaan...Ylimmässä kerroksessa oleva auringonottoterassi oli mukavan siisti ja rauhallinen. Veldig fornøyd med ei ukes opphold på Nice Grimaldi i Nice! Rent og god service. Vil spesielt fremheve den store flotte terrassen i 7. etg. med utsikt over nabolaget. En drøm - enten man inntok en enkel panini fra nabolaget til frokost eller om man ville nyte et glass "sprudlevann" ved solnedgang.

Hotellet är bra beläget i Nice och det är gångavstånd till stranden, gamla stan och stationen. Servicen på hotellet är av god kvalitet - mycket hjälpsam personal. Rummen är dock ganska små och inte särskilt bra planerade. Förutom detta sänker småskavanker - gnisslande dörrar och diverse lösa attiraljer – kvalitetskänslan av rummen på hotellet.

Hotel is very good situated near to old town and sea. Not so new inside but it is strong 3 stars. Qite nice staff. If you want to safe money not to stay in 4 or 5 stars in Nice I can strong recommend this hotel for you. One thing more. I stayed there on Grand Prix time and rented a car. On the last night or morning police take our car from place near […] the hotel to police parking called furnier. There is no parking place near hotel so you need to be careful with that.
