Crystal Inn met all my expectations for a budget overnight stay. The exceptional breakfast buffet exceeded my expectations.

Everything was great with our stay. The room was clean and the kids had a great time at the pool. I only wish the breakfast buffet went a little later than 9am. Who wants to drag three kids out of bed that early when they aren't early risers? ;-)

The staff was efficient and friendly, the room was fine, the full breakfast was ok, the free newspaper was a nice touch. The only complaint I can think of is the garbage truck emptying dumpsters VERY early in the morning close by, but that is not the hotel's fault. Overall, a very pleasant stay

We really enjoyed our stay and were very happy with the hotel cleanliness, quality, etc.

very plesure except the floor, the service is good, and nice breakfast, close to the downtown and shopping mall- the gateway and city creek centre

Clean rooms, a great rate, and a free breakfast to boot! If im ever in SLC again my family and I will definately stay here.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The location was right downtown - close to everything we wanted to do. Overall, we had a very positive experience, and we will definitely stay there again.

Everything about hotel = awesome; watch out for weekend families, kiddies & long lines at the buffet. And peeps in their pajamas at breakfast buffet = gross!

we enjoyed everything about our stay here. of course if they charge more i will look somewhere else

We had 2 rooms and both rooms were very clean and comfortable. We were surprised at how large the rooms were. For each room we had 2 queen beds, mini-fridge, microwave, love seat/sofa, coffee table, and a small table with 2 chairs nicely spaced within the room. Our room was very clean, the beds were firm and comfortable (which was great for a bad back). […] The hotel honored our request for rooms next to each other, which we appreciated. The buffet breakfast was large with cereal, french toast, sausage, pastries, toast, hash browns, eggs, and more plus various drinks. Everyone in our family was able to find something they liked. We enjoyed swimming in the indoor heated pool and soaking in the hot tub. Both were well taken care of, except the hot tub needed a bit more water so the jets would be covered and not spray above the water level. There is also a sauna and fitness room, but we didn't go there. We did see a couple of vagrants near the hotel during the day, but we still found it to be a nice, safe area. We would definitely stay in this hotel again as well as recommend it to others. Читати далі

I have never stayed in a hotel this nice for this price.

this is a great friendly family hotel with great spacious rooms, breakfast was good with the hot and cold selections, had 3 restaurants surrounding the hotel, just a great hotel for anyone - we will diffinately be coming back here next time we are in town. They were also really really helpful when we wanted to extend our stay for another week.

We enjoyed our stay very much and were very comfortable. We definitely would stay there again.

Nice service and great location, located in free fare zone, and near the biggest shopping mall -Gateway and City Creek

we were there for 4 nights, overall, our weekend was great, clean rooms,pool, great daily hot food with daily variations,friendly staff, very helpful with maps and locations of area attractions. The one problem we encounter when we arrived at 11 pm after 11 hrs driving, the hotel was over booked. So 3 of us ended up in a room with 1 king, good thing […] we're all related. Great breakfast, clean room, just what I expected. Staff didn't go out of their way or extra friendly, just okay. The experience was positive overall.

We had a wonderful family vacation in Salt Lake City, due in part to the location and services at the Crystal Inn Downtown. Our room was spacious for a family of four. The buffet breakfast was super and our kiddos enjoyed the pool. There are several family-friendly restaurants within walking distance.

All around good hotel. Good location. Would stay there again. Only complaint was the ice machine is all the way down at one end of very long hall.

I booked this hotel for a gaming convention that was in town the same time as the LDS Conference. The hotel was undergoing some renovations to the main front desk area. However, check-in was still seamless. The only problem I had was when I came back to the hotel on Friday night and all of the spots were taken. After voicing this to the front desk, […] they said that they have an agreement with the Denny's and McDonald's that are next door, so parking wasn't an issue. Hotel was very convenient to the downtown ara. The breakfast at the hotel and free wireless were a good value and a nice perk. There were a few homeless people in the area and a pretty strong police presence. I saw numerous police cars patrolling the area and one officer stop to roust a homeless guy walking through the parking lot. Great Hotel, even though they were in the middle of construction. So, when construction is done, it will be even better. Breakfast was great as well. Very Nice place to stay...

The hotel was great. Wasn't told they were remodeling though which caused some problems parking. The kids were really loud in the pool area. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this hotel.

No notice was given that the desk would be found in a banquet room and that the parking area would be taken over by trucks of the many workers at all hours. Fire alarms going off, trucks backing up with horn at 3:30 am, sidewalks to the hotel doors torn out and blocked, and the most convienient elevator to the room was tagged as being out of order for […] a day. The morning breakfast was not as varied as it should have been for those who stayed more than four days. In over 35 years of business travel this would be considered a new low. Only a stay at the Bates Hotel could have been worse. Consider asking if they are planning any construction during the time you plan on staying there. Hopefully your experience will be more pleasant. The hotel was conveniently located in downtown SLC. The service from the front desk was outstanding. It seemed to be an older hotel (but, not historic), but it was very clean and the complimentary breakfast was very good. I would stay there again.

Quality all the way. Excellent price for the room, staff very friendly and helpful, the room was very nice & comfortable, the location is great easy access to many great restaurants etc. and the FREE Buffet Breakfast was very, very good. This is the only place I will stay on my visits to SLC. Highly recommended !!!

The room was clean, the breakfast was great! It was in a great location and the price was unbeatable! Would definitely stay again. I've stayed in many others in salt lake and this was just as great at the more expensive ones.

Clean, quiet. Great breakfast options in the morning. There were a lot of childen staying in the hotel but, if we hadn't seen them in the lobby or parking lot we wouldn't have known they were there. We will stay there again as it was within walking distance of restaurants and sites.

We booked 2 nights. After night one we went out around the city for the day. We came back, all of our stuff was gone, literally!! Management refused to do anything about it until the next morning. And only about 75% of our stuff was returned...the rest grew legs and ran away...never staying here again!

This hotel was located in the center of every activity we had planned for our weekend stay. Very convenient, clean, and comfortable.

Crystal Inn has the best FREE breakfast buffet I've seen. Close to convention center and a variety of restaurants. We walked and felt safe even in the early morning hours. Free airport shuttle also a nice bonus. If we travel to Salt Lake City again, we will definitely stay here!

We stayed almost a week. The rooms were quite large, plenty of room for 5 of us. Our 8 yr old slept on the sofa. The location has easy access to both downtown and the highway. The best part of the stay was the hot breakfast buffet with delicious selections to choose from - everyone was satisfied each morning! Loved our stay. The staff was very helpful, the place was clean. Security was good, it took your key card to enter any door except the hotel entrance. The breakfast was excellent. I had taken my small dog and it was very pet friendly. It was close to the freeway. I will be staying there again when I am in SLC.

Great location. Staff were extremely helpful. Breakfast was hot and good. Shuttle to and from airport was on time. 2 block to the trolly. Beds were a little soft for our liking. We would like to see a humidifier in the room. SLC is dry in the winter. We will stay there again!

Loved the hotel, especially the buffet breakfast! Great value, good location, but my only rub was the fact that EVERY TIME I entered or exited the main entrance, there were smokers within 2 feet of the door. Hotel needs to address this issue. Otherwise, a great stay for a great price.

This hotel was overpriced. Yes, you do get a decent breakfast with the room, but still overpriced. The vanity area is out in the room- no sinks in the bathroom. The bathroom was very small. The beds were Ok.

We wanted a hotel close to downtown that had a heated indoor pool and a warm breakfast. It didn't disappoint. The pool was fun for our girls and the breakfast offered a lot of choices. Our room was more spacious than we expected. No complaints. Great place for the price.

The hotel was very nice and the breakfast that was included was very nice. Fresh cooked that morning but not High-end. Still, you get more than what you pay for. the pool and hot tub were nice but we couldn't really enjoy it because a couple was basically having sex in the pool. while other people were in it! including a child! Large clean room. Great breakfast. Good location. Water in the shower varied in temperature during the shower. Quite a few pan-handlers in area but that is a widespread situation in downtown SLC. Overall, a very good stay for the price.
