Frount desk emp. was nice guy but needs to study the english lingo. The handycap room shower drain didn't drain! Guess where the water went ! That's right. On the floor I had to take a spit bath out of the sink. They were nice people though and polite

This is an old facility that needs some TLC, updates and repairs. The staff members were pleasant and helpful and probably were doing the best they could with the shape of the facility.

Was looking for a deal. Could tell they had "tried" to remodel but had failed. Paint & tile only go so far! Looked like mold on the corner of the room from a leak. Husband would not let us change room because it was late and he was tired! Beds were very uncomfortable, pillows very thin. Not a deal at all!

When we first arrived the first thought that popped in our minds is we should go somewhere else! The motel could use a little TLC. But since we just stayed 1 night we decided to stay. The check in at 2 and check out by 11 was a bummer also!! My key card stopped working at 10:40am 20 minutes before check out!! I had to go to office so I could get key […] fixed and clerk gave the excuse that sometimes leaving it close to the light could have been the problem!? Really?? it was cheap ,,it was convent ..quiet..and by the mall..and close to both lakes...and great resturants in area..

I've stayed here several times, the staff is friendly, its clean and a good location.

Room was filthy, everything was old and out dated. It was in very poor condition. Holes in the doors, hair dryer falling off the wall. Coffee pot and fridge were dirty. Found drugs under the bed. There was blood on the sheets. Called room service to come change the sheets. They brought us clean sheets and didn't offer to change them for us. Our room […] was double booked so at 2:00am, while we were sleeping, someone barged in our room. When we talked to the manager, they had nothing to say. Not even an apology. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE. WORST HOTEL EXPERIENCE EVER. Читати далі

Less than 5 mins. after arrival my son found a butt on the floor of a non-smoking room. There was mold in the bathroom, and in the corner ot the main room. The quality of the coffee was horrible. This place is sinking from used, past scruffy and into depressed.

I typically define a "Value" as something being worth more than what it costs-- I can't say this necessarily applies to this location of this motel chain. I was forced to book this stay last-minute, and over the phone, as I discovered a mistake in my itinerary for a recent trip. So please keep in mind that this wasn't booked with the foreknowledge […] of the experience of fellow Hotels.com users, like I normally have. The person at the front desk was extremely nice, let me say that up front. However, the lobby television was BLARING a rather inappropriate episode of the Maury Povich show, and that somewhat set the tone for the entire stay. Our room, had it been in proper repair, would probably have been adequate. It looks as if someone is at least attempting to maintain the facility, but that the typical guests are less than helpful in that regard. There were NUMEROUS obvious patches in the drywall, fixtures broken from the wall, the toilet intermittently ran all night, etc. The iron was chained to the wall. With too little of a tether to properly press an entire shirt. Next door is a rather hopping Mexican food restaurant with a live mariachi band on the weekends. The mariachi room is probably 15 feet from the door of the room I stayed in. I could keep going, but that seems unnecessary. For the price, the room was very nice. The repairs and remodeling were clearly done by a non-professional, but the overall effect was nice. Everything was clean, and the comforter was fresh and clean (it was a smoking room, so you could tell) For the money, I was pleasantly surprised.

rooms need remodeling, couldn't get remote on tv to work. However clean for the most part and no bugs. free wifi and small fridge where a plus.

Our stay on Nov 7th, 2009 was less than satisfactor from the beginning. 1) The Desk clerk never reviewed my paperwork upon arrival and tried to bill me for two rooms that were prepaid. 2) Upon entering our 1st room, there was a trim board from the night stand with nails in it, laying on the floor, with the nails in the upward position. The carpets […] were stained and dirty. I took the board with the nails to the front desk and expressed my dissatisfaction with the room and requested another room. The on-duty manager lacked people skills and was not willing to make the necessary adjustments to assign me to another room. During our conversation, my guest from the 2nd room came to the front desk and reported that their sink would not drain. Within five minutes of that, another hotel guest came down and reported that their faucet was broke and needed fixed. I would like to say this was all coincidental timing, but not likely. After being told there were no other rooms available, I demanded a new room. With management hesitation and customer grief, I was assigned a new room, but again, was very dissapointed. The cloth chairs were not suitable to sit in due the the stains and dirt. My wife and I pulled the bed sheets off and covered the chairs to keep our clothes from getting dirty. Good for price. Needs some improvement that is in process. Friendly staff. Good for the slim budget.

Room barely OK for the money. Upholstery was very dirty, and there were ashes in one of the drawers. Bathtub plug didn't work, so I had to buy one. However, the bed was comfortable, and the television programming was fine.

WE felt the hotel was far better than expected for the money. The room was very nice and clean. The staff were very helpful in giving directions. We really liked the breakfast.
