Auto Hogar - Барселона

Good location, close to the ramblas and the port area. The hotel itself is what you would expect for a 2-star. A negative note, they were not able to provide me with an internet connection in the first day.

Very good room but not saftey deposit box on the room, you have to use the one in the reception. Overall a good stay. Pritty central but can be better.

The staff was extremely rude and not serviceminded at all! The lady at the breakfast was the rudeste ever! The breakfast was disgusting! The hotelroom looked like it was about to fall apart - not clean at all! The bedsheets and curtains were plain disgusting! Only good thing is the hotel was near Las Ramblas, but would NEVER stay there again!

Shabby, functional ,rough and ready but in a great location. Ask for your plug at reception!!

i stayed at this hotel for 2 nights and had i known before hand how thin the walls were i would not have. the lift doors VERY LOUD was not impressed.

We needed a hotel for an overnight stay and they were the only one after trying several other hotels in Barcelona. We were happy they were available, I guess it was a holiday season. It was all we needed and it was comfortable. the elevators were our only concern. We had to go to our room in separate elevators. Coming down was difficult as one was very […] busy. This hotel is located in a very convenient location, next to la rambla. The room was ok, not like it looks in the pictures though. Our bed wasn't much larger than a twin bed, so we both had to be sleeping on our sides. The shower was excellent. The buffet breakfast had a nice bit of variety and most of it was pretty good.

Difficult to believe this qualifies as a two star hotel. Have stayed in a better standard youth hostel. Twice I returned the room key to reception; twice they lost it. On the second occasion, they had let the room to another resident who turned up at our door. Staff did not seem to know what they were doing|

This is coming from 2 students, so you'd expect we'd be able to handle a certain amount of grime - but oh my God Auto Hogar. I'm still washing it off. Were pleasantly surprised by the lobby, but were taken out to our hotel room above the carpark. The lift has a mind of its own, and will take you to random floors. Also the door slams EXTREMELY loud, […] so sleep is impossible. Our window looked out onto 1 square foot of courtyard (no lies) and there was no air conditioning, so it was boiling. The bathroom was disgusting - half-decorated, covered in filth, THERE WERE ANTS IN IT! We were also fairly sure that our sheets weren't clean, and prayed to God that there was a maid with short, curly, black hair. There was a TV but no remote, and none of the buttons worked. The maid cleaned our room by hiding our stuff under our beds. Not all that much to see on Paral.lel but hotel was a couple of metres to the metro, and Las Ramblas was 4 stops away. The hotel is reasonably close to all of the sites (only a few metro stops away, walking distance to Las Ramblas) and there's a metro street right next to it. Despite others' comments, the location wasn't that bad, even late at night. The hotel is undergoing rennovations and was actually much nicer than I expected for a 2 star hotel in Europe! They […] have air conditioning, although it doesn't work that well, and the room and bathroom facilities were clean and new. Only two major inconviniences: No wifi and since we arrived late on our first night we had to wait about 15 minutes for someone to show up to let us check in (security called the concierge, there was also another 2 people waiting, I don't know for how long). At long last modernisation is underway Our double room was almost palatial!! Even had 2 televisions,one in a small seating area Also much quieter due to new door entry system as apposed to noisy jangly keys Stayed many times at Auto Hogar due to convenient location when travelling by car so this was a lovely suprise

After being told our room was in the 'old part of the hotel', a little walk through the car park awaited us to the dated building with faulty lift. The room was fairly standard for Spain with no frills. But the wall mounted TV was precariously held on by a bit of string. The balcony overlooked the concrete roof and the air conditioned units. The freebies […] extended to two sachets of aoul smelling shower gels, and two miniscule bars of soap for the entire stay. You may find nicer hotels, but for the price the location is perfect for exploring Barcelona. Good location... But wouldnt stay here again unless it was a must. Rooms were very old and musty feeling... Probably could have found a better place for that price or even cheaper.

I stayed at Auto Hogar for one night. The location was perfect and staff was friendly. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. However, there was loud, I mean LOUD, noise outside on the streets until 3am. There are several theaters across from the hotel and apparently they are the spot to be, even on a Sunday night. the noise get from the elevator like a bombs. we hardly slept due to the noise.

Well, you get what you pay for with the Auto Hogar. It's an inexpensive hotel that is comfortable enough, but no luxury escape. The breakfast service is great, contrary to other reviews that we had read about the Auto Hogar. The location is fine, as long as you choose to use the metro at Parallel, which is very convenient. Walking to La Rambla and the […] port is fine, but everywhere else is a bit far, and none of the side streets around the Auto Hogar should really be walked by tourists, though the main street (Parallel) is perfectly fine. Great location and the staff was very nice. We booked a queen bed and got a bed slightly larger than a twin bed (barely). The elevator worked some of the time. The hotel room was okay, not great. Nice hotel, Great location, within walking distance of boardwalk, and beach.

I feel bad to have to say it but this hotel was extremely disappointing. I would compare it to an overpriced Motel 6. Our room was on the 2nd floor, but in actuality the 1st floor didn't start until the 3rd. So we were really staying on what was the 4th floor with a broken elevator. Luckily we checked in extremely late & only stayed for one night. My […] pillow smelled bad as if either the pillow case was used or the pillow was just old. Either way I as scared and had to wrap my sweater around my pillow to sleep. Also, the walls in our room were extremely thin and in the morning it felt as if the entire hotel was in my room, taking showers, talking, and all. We stayed here simply as a pit stop to then stay at a friends place, thank goodness it was only for one night. OK location, not too far from most things, they advertzie close to the Picasso Museum this is not the case. I found the hallway resonated with the sound of any door opening or any time the elevator was used. If you are a light sleeper this can be a problem. Large triple room,cheap,good breakfast,quiet,easy to find,secure car parking and immediate access

Comfortable stay for 3 nights. Room was very clean and big enough. Standing balcony lovely, bathroom just right. No frills but just what we wanted as we were out for the whole day from 10 am until 12 midnight all days! Breakfast fine, great location, staff very polite and lovely. Cet hotel est bien situe, il est pres de la station "Paral lel" qui est tres pratique pour aller la plupart d'endroits touristiques. La chambre est propre, bien que les murs ne sont pas tres epais pour eviter tous les bruits, mais notre chambre ne donne pas sur la rue, donc les bruits de voiture ne sont pas un probleme. Les employes sont gentils, chaleureux, […] ils peuvent parler l'anglais. Au fait, il n'y a pas de Wifi dans la chambre mais dans l'hall d'entree. Hotellet låg helt kanon nära till vattnet och till Shopping. Hotellet var trevligt och den nybyggda delen som vi bodde i var mycket fin. Dock borde hotellet se över frukosten "fruktansvärt dålig och rörig" högre standar på frukosten så kommer de få ännu mer nöjda gäster.

Hotellet ligger i sentrum, tar 2 min å gå til hovedgata La Rambla. Rommet var grei, men det var ingen utsikt og bråk om natta (suser vann). Hadde ingen utsikt da vinduet åpnes til bakgård som er helt lukket. Folka som serverte frokost er ugyggelige, men de sim jobber i resepsjon er greie. I det stora hela ett bra läge, nära till allt, lätt att hitta. Men väldigt lyhört, dåligt isolerat i rummen mot gatan, vi köpte öronproppar, liv på gatan hela dygnet. Lätt dock att hamna i "sämre" kvarter.

Atendimento bom. Hotel com boa localização, perto do metrô e do La Ramblas. Quartos ruins, com acústica horrível, ouvindo-se barulho do corredor.

rapport qualité prix honnete pr petit budget emplacement pas central (sauf si l'objectif est les theatres d'El.Parallel) mais pas mal pour acceder aux quartiers du Montjuic

Hôtel très bien situé, à 5mn à pied de La Rambla. Accès très facil en voiture depuis la ronda littoral. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et bon. Il y a un garage, c'est très pratique. Par contre, les chambres sont vieilles, les lits abimés, ne pas avoir de problème de dos! La salle de bain devrait être rénovée. L'accès à notre chambre se faisait par le […] garage avec des ascenseurs en panne! Boules Quies obligatoire car très bruyant même dans la petite rue derrière! extremement bruyant isolation phonique néante et le bruit de la porte de l'ascensseur de nuit c'est un bond dans le lit assuré. aspect exterieur et interieur vieux!!. le prix du parking voiture 14euros parnuit est un peu exessif mais le parking et necessaire. la localisation et trés bonne service bus a 300metres. et le restaurant de l'hotel et tres […] tres bien pour le prix. le petit déjeuner a un buffet varier (bacon oeuf dur oeuf au plat jambon haricots .... et bien dautre encore) en resumer localisation parfait resto et déjeuné parfais mais chambre d'énorme progrer a apporter si c'est possible. Hotellet är under ombyggnad, så begär att få ett av de nya rummena. De gamla, som vi fick först, var under all kritik, men vi bytte upp oss till ett av de nya superior-rummena, och det var bra. Hotelli vastasi hintatasoaan, ihan hyvä palvelu,syötävä aamiainen. Huoneemmekin vaihtoivat toiseen jopa kalliimpaan ihan ilman pyyntöä, kun valitimme hissien olevan epäkunnossa siinä rakennuksessa jossa olimme ja korjaaja saatiin vasta seuraavana päivänä ja toinen meistä on liikuntarajoitteinen.

Allt Mycket bra förutom sängarna, som var undermåliga. Frukostbuffe´n var toppen.

hotel is héél basic en nogal oud. Als je niet te hoge verwachtingen hebt kan het ermee door. Onze kamer gaf uit op binnenkoer. Dus geen licht. Bed was proper. In de badkamer was alles aanwezig maar oud, vooral bad en douchegordijn. Kamer werd wel iedere dag onderhouden. Het onbijt was OK zonder meer.

Vi boede der 2 personer i 3 nætter. Hotellet er rent, men slidt og småt. Det er godt til 1 eller 2 overnatninger, men vi savnede i den sidste ende et sted, hvor vi kunne sætte os ned sammen og lægge planer for vores fortsatte ferie.

Rummet var inte av den vackraste diamant , lite små äkligt. Frukosten okey, servicen , personal bra, läget var toppen så i det stora hela så va det bra. Tack!

Muy comodo por su ubicación y aparcamiento integrado al hotel. El aire acondicionado no se dió a basto. Desayuno buffet de primera.

Ankom til hotellet og fik anvist et værelse i det bagerste af hotellet som man kommer til gennem en mindre P-kælder. Med bange anelser fra læste anmeldelser, flyttede vi ind og det viste sig da også at det var temmelig lydt. Værelset var okay til prisen, ingen luksus. Vi prøvede for sjov at høre om det var muligt at få et værelse med en balkon ( dejligt […] på de varme aftener!) og det var allerede muligt næste dag! Værelse 104 (1.sal ) blev så vores de næste 4 dage og sikke et værelse, direkte ud til Av. des parrallel. Ja, der var meget støj fra gaden, men hvad skal man næsten ellers forvente når man bor helt i centrum på en af de største veje! Kan kun anbefale Auto Hogar og mener at man får hvad man betaler for. De anmeldelser der skræmmer folk på nettet skal man jo nok lige sammenholde med prisen! Vi havde en rigtig god oplevelse med hotellet. Читати далі
