I loved our stay at the hotel. The Green Mill restaurant has great food. I would recommend anybody stay here.

Earlier in the day i called to ask what time was check in and the girl who answerd was very rude to me. So already i had a bad thought about staying there. When we got there to check in the girl ask me smoking or none i looked at my sister get see what she thought and the snotty little girl checking me in gave me attitude and in a rude tone said smoking […] or none smoking. Because of the poor customer service at this hotel i would never come back here. Its to bad because i really enjoyed every thing else about the hotel but VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Читати далі

We had a reservation at another hotel and found the room was too small so we reserved this room last-minute. Big mistake! This was not the nice Country Inn we've experienced before. This hotel looks like it was built in the 70's and just patched up ever since. It was really run down. The carpet had holes that were worn completely through. The frames […] around most doors were chipped. To make an already bad situation worse, the second night we had to listen to an entire bus load of teen-aged monsters who, obviously, had never been away from home before. The front desk staff was not to be found when we first checked in. There was a gentleman in front of us who had to yell "hello?" several times before he was even served 10 minutes later. We requested a non-smoking room at the front desk but recieved a smoking room instead. The hotel was very quiet and close to fast food and eat-in restaraunts. As well […] as shopping stores (target, kohls, etc.) The hot tub was a huge disappointment. It wasn't even as warm as bathtub water (we returned to the room instead and just sat in the tub, which was a million times better). The staff said they were working on it. We have stayed 11 nights since 7-23-11 and we enjoy hotel will continue to stay each time we visit St.Paul. Our room smelt like cigarette smoke, smoking rooms across the hall. Pulled the sheets back on both beds and found lots of hair. Asked for clean sheets got them but employee didn't know how to make a bed. The hotel seemed run down, dirty and needs to be updated. The restaurant was closed due to remodel. Had we known that we would not have chosen this […] Counrty Inn. The continental breakfast was ok. This hotel was quiet and clean, the breakfast served was amazing. Great value for the price paid.

We were very pleased with this hotel..facilities and proximity to St. Paul.

u cant beat the continental breakfast country inn and suites offers plus if u want to relax in a whirlpool its one of he most relaxing atomspheres in a hotel and the rates are affordable.

I really can not say anything good about this property! The front desk was rude and gave us a different room from what we had reserved. When we did enter the room the real nightmare began! Few things: mold on the wall, both drains were plugged, shower stayed on massage, shower curtain was stained and the bathroom door stuck so you could not shut it! […] A few other rooms were booked with our relatives and they all agreed that we would NEVER be back at this hotel. A good, decent motel for the price. The room was clean and we had good service. The breakfast was great, not the usual continental fare normally found at most hotels, but eggs, sausage, potatoes etc. Gorgeous pool area! This Hotel appeared to be falling apart around us. It is in serious needs of repairs and remodeling. The exterior had chipping or faded paint, broken screen doors, and some completely knocked off track of some of the ground floor rooms. The room was damp and musty as if there was water damage, and there was black mold coming down from the ceiling in […] all the seams of the wallpaper. The common areas looked like they might have been fashionable in the 80's. The main reason we were staying was for a pool, and the pebbling of the pool deck was disintigrating under our feet as we walked across it. Excellent stay, helpful staff no problems,had a great stay,the breakfast was very good.

The staff was friendly but the room was not very good there were peace of the ceiling falling off and into the bed on the sofa. There was way to much noise from kids running up and down the hall and when the room was cleaned they did not change the sheets. Out of a 5 I would rate this hotel at a 2.5 needs some work!!!!

location, pool and restaurant is what we needed for a fast family reunion. hotel delivered. Great front desk people at all times. my compliments.

This is a very nice place. The pool was warm and has a nice deep end with two shallow ends. Easy acess for anyone with knee problems. The pool room is big, no lounges just chairs and a fire place! Good selections of snacks at the front counter. Nice friendly staff. Free newspapers, internet. Biggest down side the beds are getting soft, and the carpet […] should be replaced soon. The decor is dated, the door to the room was heavy and the sink was right behind it, the TV gave off a high pitched noise when it was on, the coffee pot leaked water all over, the lamps were in bad shape and to top it off we found pictures of someone else on the lamp shade so I guess that goes to show how much attention they pay to details when they […] clean the rooms. Room was clean, the hallways evidently hadn't been vacuumed in recent days. A little confusion when we got to our room...when we opened the door the mattress and boxspring were propped against the wall, the room was closed for heavy housecleaning.

THE ROOM WAS PERFECT AND CLEAN, WITH LOTS OF TOWELS IN THE BATHROOM. BIG TV, LOTS OF CHANNELS. THE POOL AREA WAS AMAZING. BIG FIREPLACE IN POOL AREA, AS WELL AS THE POOL WAS WARM NOT ICE COLD. THE KIDS PLAYED FOR HOURS. STAFF WAS VERY HELPFULL. THE FREE BREAKFEST WAS AWESOME. THE EGGS WERE FRESH, HOMEMADE SALSA ALSO WAS SO GREAT TO EAT. AS WELL AS THE […] HOMEMADE HASBROWNS. WENT BACK 4 TIMES JUST FOR THAT. THE COFFEE AND JUICE WAS FRESH ALSO AND TASTED FANTASTIC. THE COFFEE WAS REALLY GREAT. WOULD LOVE TO GO THERE EVERY MORNING INSTEAD OF STARBUCKS. We have stayed at this location many times and always found it to be clean, neat and perfect. After some years we spent the night again. Our room smelled musty, sheets and comforter had holes and large rips in them. The room also had cob webs and mirrors were disgusting. This hotel does have a beautiful pool and hot tub area. Not so great hotel. No food vending machines, you had to go down to the front desk to purchase a snack. No elevator. Waited half an hour for our room, didn't arrive early. Awful breakfast.

I booked a Country Inn and Suites for the quality and reputation of the other properties I've stayed at. This property should not even be a Motel 6! Furniture was severly worn, carpets were bunching in the room. Carpets of the entire property was horrible. Pool area was especially nice-water temperature was warm. Beds were very comfortable. Added bonus of getting a discount on Green Mill pizza next to hotel.

We were so happy with the room, the pool, the continental breakfast and the service. It was a great value for the cost. The breakfast is not to be missed and the fireplace in the pool adds a lovely touch.

Stayed for one night and all went well. Room was clean and plenty big. Staff was very friendly. Pool was warm and good size. No elevator [not a problem for us-not much luggage] and two floors. Request first floor room if you can't deal with steps.

Easy access to St Paul right off interstate, outlet mall close, staff very friendly, great pool area. Nice to have Green Mill attached, great food.

The room was up to par, very clean and comfy. The continental breakfast was delicious as well. Well worth my money. If I should return to the area for whatever reason, I would definitely stay here again.

Hotel overall was older and not very updated, rooms were a little musty, and not very sound proof. But the customer service was excellent, pool was fantastic for the kids, and we overall enjoyed our stay.

Stayed at the Country Inn St. Paul - East (Woodbury) for one night on my way to stay with family. I grew up in the area and am very familiar with the hotel (its been there as long as I can remember and I'm 32). This was my first time actually staying at the hotel. Everything was clean (even though you could still tell it was an older hotel), the room […] was a nice size and had decent amentities (fridge, coffee, hairdryer - typical, but sometimes missing from rooms at this price at other hotels). The staff was nice and the pool area looked great (big, open and open late) - though, we didn't use the pool. I really like the Green Mill restaurant, and it didn't dissapoint. We missed the hotel breakfast in the restaurant (nice touch!), but did do dinner there with desserts and drinks later and it was great and super-convienent. Overall, very happy with the stay. We found this to be a family friendly stay. Friendly staff, pool, and complimentary breakfast were awesome. Conventionally located.

Room was a little outdated, but it looks like they made some upgrades to the bathroom. It was perfect for us. We just needed to stay one night on our road trip and the price was right for what we needed.

This hotel was very convenient for our recent visit to the Twin Cities area. We loved the pool! Also, having the Green Mill restaurant in the hotel was the final selling point. They had one of the best continential breakfasts we've ever experienced. We were very satisfied and would choose this hotel again in a hearbeat.

I can not recommend this hotel simply because it does not have an elevator or ramp to the 2nd floor. I had an elderly adult with me and my wife had a broken foot making it very hard to reach our room on the 3nd floor each day. Add an elevator and I will give this hotel a 10 rating in every category

Hotel is outdated. Internet was down almost the entire stay and is not wireless. Beds were comfortable and I liked the 2 sinks. There is no fridge or microwave. Breakfast was average. Hotel was nice as a place to stay for the evening, but would not be something you would want to sit in all day. Hotels.com did allow a day early checkout which was helpful. […] If you are going to mall of america it was about a 15 min drive. The hotel is located by the 2 major highways to take you to the mall or downtown minneapolis and was helpful. When I drove into the hotel at night I have to admit I was a little nervous, but it is actually a very nice town down the road with lots of places to eat and shop. It was a great price. We got in late after driving all day and were thrilled to find out the gorgeous hotel pool was open every night until 1 a.m. The girls swam off some of their excess energy and got a great night's sleep. The breakfast the next morning was 10x better than any other hotel's "continental" breakfast with its eggs, biscuits and gravy, sausage, muffins, toast, […] juice, and coffee. very pleased. saved a few $$ by staying there and the accommidations were very comfortable and welcomed. a few noisy guest but front desk handled it well.

The following services were not available: refrigerator, internet and the air conditioning. We had to call the desk and visit the desk to get help. The cleanliness was not up to a teenage standards. Other complaints were expressed by others when we were checking out. We were not pleased after spending the money charged.
