We had 4 people with 2 double rooms. One room is very small but the boss(I guess) promised us that he will adjust another bigger room for us because we will stay for 6 nights. Luckily we got it in the next day when we back to hotel. Everything in hotel seems not too far as we expected. Of course you can't treat it as a modern hotel but it's enough for us for what you paid in London. The location is great. It takes around 10 mins slow walk to Paddington train station/underground. Convenience is better than anything. The breakfast is also not bad but I strongly suggest don't order continental breakfast. English breakfast is good and the quantity is enough for us. Even though we asked more toast sometimes, they were willing to offer. Orchard hotel gave us 6 good sleeping nights during our stay in London. We are willing to recommend it to others if you have budget control.

Very nice hotel, convenient for eating and shopping, only 200m away from Paddington Station, I'll come to stay at this hotel again in my next trip to London.

A bit of a walk to the closest tube station , however there is an overground train very close by .A lovely hotel in a nice location .The room was gorgeous, with a lovely comfy bed. We had a river view on sixth floor , fabulous .

"Lovely big rooms and nice staff"
Lovely hotel. Very clean. Nice staff with a sense of humour. Large rooms with lounge and two toilets. Nice view from all floors (but ask for room on one of top floors for best view). "Worst bed ever"
This hotel gave me a room that had the very worst bed I have ever slept on. I ended up sleeping on the couch one of the three nights I was there. Also, the staff in the Brasserie were not attentive at all. I sat down and not once did someone come ask me what I would like, even though the place was not crowded at all. I ended up walking out.

I will stay here again and again! This is a great hotel along the Thames. Friendly and helpful staff, large bathroom with separate tub and shower. Train station right across the street; bus stop is convenient 5 minute walk from hotel.

"good hotel but"
we had a nice stay in this hotel recently and we enjoyed it , but we think that it is not acceptable that the deposit you put in as a credit card, must take 7 days to be canceled. I think when you chek out all that should be taken care of with no flash back in the following week.
"Worth staying outside the heart of London for"
This hotel has the service, attention to detail and style you would expect from a five star hotel. Being close to Imperial Wharf it also has decent nearby restaurants. Getting to it not perfect but worth the effort (nearby station has limited destinations)

"Great looks. Lacking in other areas"
The Wyndham was a beautiful hotel. The staff were very friendly and courteous. However when I made a reservation, it said I would be getting a bed to sleep on and it ended up being a cot which was very uncomfortable. The bedding felt and sounded somewhat like it was made of plastic. The pillows were so flat after 5 minutes I almost shouldn't have bothered. […] The staff also quoted me incorrectly by £25 on the cost of the car from Heathrow airport to the hotel and tried to charge me for a car ride we never actually had. When we arrived, they knew the reservation was for 2 beds and yet they were not prepared for us and had to bring up a cot after we were already in the room and also bring in more towels to accommodate us. "Excellent for the price"
The hotel is situated in a fast developing area. Spacious apartment and very friendly staff. A short walk to King's Road where there are restaurants etc - The Summer House at the World's End pub using the Top Table offer is excellent! Take the short cut to the station through the car park. The Wyndham was a lovely place to stay - We really enjoyed our stay. The room was a suite that easily accomodated 3 adults. The SPA was nice and the workout room was excellent. It is the worst managed 5 star hotel I have ever stayed in. The staff could not understand English and I am gutted that this is supposed to be a flagship hotel representing the UK. I had to wait 2 hours for a room only to be offered a smoking room and then finally an unprepared corner room next to the lift shaft. The spa was shut. Colleagues with me […] had similar experiences with some being offered compensation and others not according to someone's whim. The uniforms of the porter team were ill fitting and sloppy. This hotel was lovely. The staff were friendly and very knowledgeable about how to use public transportation. They could use a few more computers in the free internet area. The fitness area is a little small but has the basic machines. It would be nice if the pool was open a little later in the evenings. We will definitely stay there again.

This hotel is excellent - big rooms in London - very rare. Hotel immaculate, clean and big pool for children. The bus goes straight down Kings Road, Chelsea - great shopping, convenient for Natural History Museum and Science Museum .

I do have one point as a criticism - I think high speed internet in guest rooms should be complimentary, it always adds bad taste when you need to pay for it, especially in these days and when you are using Wi-Fi. I wouldn't mind paying a little more on the room rate and get internet for free, I think it's a better customer experience. Overall - I really enjoyed my stay and will be happy to come back. I did not personally book myself into the Wyndham, this reservation was made for me. However, I would choose to stay here again, if visiting this part of town again. The hotel was very nice, comfortable, spacious, good service etc etc. I would recommend to those wanting the South West London area.

In the very nice Chelsea Harbour area, the Wyndham is an excellent place to stay. All suites.. so separate living and bed room, very nicely decorated. Very friendly and helpful staff. Walking distance from Kings Road, Chelsea's main shopping street.

What a great hotel! Everything from the luxorious receiption/liunge area, the courteous staff (EVERYONE stopped and said hello as they passed) and the quality of the suite. We had a lovely evening stroll round the marina and then along the Thames path with fantastic views of London. The hotel is only a few minutes walk form the Kings Road, allbeit the far west end of it. However, a decent walk got us to the centre of all of Chelsea's attractions. If I had to find fault, and II really am struggling here, is that there were no biscuits with the tea/coffee making facilities. "Out of the Way and Expensive"
A long walk from public transportation and then a pretty substantial trip to the heart of London, the Wyndham Grand is a deluxe establishment suited to expense-account business travel.

My wife and I had a very pleasant stay. The hotel suite was roomy and modern with all the trimmings including a balcony which was very useful during the hot spell. The air-conditioning struggled to cope with the heat. Being in London I like to be central so the only downsize is its 15-20 minutes walk to the nearest tube. A member of our staff stayed here and I would stress that you should avoid this hotel at all costs. The room was not ready, the heating was unbearably hot even when turned off and there was drilling and banging going on from the room above afternoon and evening which prevented sleep. The phone went twice while trying to sleep, once in the afternoon […] and once at 5.00 am in the morning. When complaints were made the staff were surly. The hotel is located up a series of undesirable back streets, miles from any shops or restaurants and walking around would be considered highly dangerous in the local area. It is about a mile from Chelsea and even further, a good 2 or 3 miles from Central London. Check the map as if you want to be in London this will not suit you. It's absolutely not a 5 star hotel but if you want a hot, noisy hotel in a very dubious area staffed by people who don't care then this is the place for you. Never again. Читати далі
