Our hotel room was clean and beds were comfortable. The price was reasonable. There was construction on the street in front of the hotel but noise was not an issue. I would stay at this hotel again.

Booked a king suite. Room was a corner room only slightly larger than an ordinary room, no division of bed and living area. Old, very uncomfortable hide-a-bed. 17-year-old slept on it folded up as a loveseat, very squished.

It was very comfortable and definitely the right price. We didn't use the pool but it looked larger than we had expected. Thank-you for a good stay.

GHETTO!!! unreal how bad this hotel was. for the price it was sold at i would never once recommend it.

CHEAP...that's the good news. but...we could hear (ahem...) EVERY little noise from every adjoining room. Nothing like being woken up at all hours of the night by bathroom noises, bedroom noises, people arguing, and obnoxious parents letting their children run up and down the halls. Have to return in a month, and it won't be here. Too noisy...

Don't really care if this is posted or not BTW. I wanted a non-smoking room but the room I was assigned to smelled like... you guessed it... smoke. The "smoke-free" hallway in between the non-smoking rooms was even worse. After the first night, there was no more hot water to shower in. Pretty pathetic but the room was cheap. We were pleased with the reception service when we checked in. He suggested a room with a microwave and mini frig for our convenience with our 5 night stay. The public spaces and room were well maintained. We will stay again.

First of all this place is a dump! The surrounding neighborhood is shady and there is a lot of construction going on right outside. There is nothing to do anywhere near the hotel. Another problem was that I requested the suite since I was traveling with my two year old daughter and wanted the extra room. Well to my surprise, their so called suite was […] just a larger hotel room, with no extra room attached. So, whenever my daughter was napping or sleeping, I had to either be very quiet myself or sleep at the same time. The only bright side of the place is that it is located right near the highway, so access to other places was not too bad, but if you plan on hanging out at the hotel, I would recommend you find another place to stay. This hotel was alright, but the location is horrible--the entire time we were there, we smelled nothing but diesel exhaust fumes and factory pollution (even in our room!). That is, except for the 5 times more chemicals used than needed to clean the room, which were literally burning the inside of our noses (I would have rather smelled old mustiness!) […] The swimming pool and spa room was wonderful. Our room was functionally decent, but the front desk clerk claimed we were getting "The Corner Suite", and it turned out to be just 1 ordinary motel room. Also, there was very little parking available within sight of our room, and navigating the parking lot was dangerous! The bathroom in our room was brand new. The hotel is old and looks nothing like the picture on the website. The rooms and hallways have a musty odor. The room and bathroom were clean but because of the overall apprearance of the hotel it did not make you feel very comfortable. I would not stay here again. Good thing was, I stayed here when I came up for the badger game, and we won. I will […] say what many other reviews have already said, spend the extra 20 dollars and stay at a nice place. Room was older but adequate. Cleanliness is the big issue for me and it was a clean room.

OLDER MOTEL BUT WAS COMFORTABLE. COULD USE SOME AIRING OUT

Some staff are friendly. Convenience to have bar and restaurant next to Hotel. Nice have indoor Jacuzzi and pool. Rate can be drop for an average Hotel without Microwave and fridge--but coffee maker a must have in room. Comfortable with many soft pillows.

Unniversity Ave. is under concstruction so there is a lot of heavy equipemnt noise. Rooms are older but clean.

Rooms were run down and the hotel was surrounded by construction. Two keys were needed, one to get into the hotel and another to open the room door. Our room was by an exit where all the smokers would use and smoke outside my room. I could hear their conversation as if they were in my room and I could smell their smoke.

I don't like that a bar is attached to the hotel, there were definitely shady people hanging out there including an intoxicated individual right at the entrance to the hotel. Also, there is terrible construction going on all around the hotel with long delays.

Was not at all happy with the room. Construction right out side our room was noisy. Walls and ceilings thin, could hear evrything going on around you. Lucky to find parking day and especially evening with the attached bar customers taking up spaces. As soon as you walked into room a smell hits you in the face. It was a non smoking room but as soon as […] you walked into the hallway, you walked into a cloud of smoke. Had to go buy freebrezze and candles just to stay there. Not at all updated. for a non smoking room, they should get rid of the blanket with the cigaret burns on it and burn mark on the toilet seat . The hotels clerks were nice. Pool and hot were nice and clean.

The employees were all very nice and VERY helpful with directions. This was very important considering all the construction going on.

The hotel had an odd odor in the hallways and room and an uncomfortable feeling to it. I never felt comfortable staying there but unfortunately it was the only place within 10 miles that had rooms available. That alone should tell you something.

older however room was clean and comfortable. thought is might be overpriced....when booking the room I did not know the area was under construction for a light rail system.

Staff were very friendly, whirlpool was great. Univerity Ve under construction ofr LRT. did'nt find traffic to bad. Restraunt was not up to parr on our first night went there for supp took approximately 40-45 minitues for food to come & then order was wrong, neve ate there again during 3 day stay. A very reasonbly priced motel.

Great for traveller who don't want to spend too much money ob hotel and cannot accomodate with the late amtrak from Chicago. Minneapolis worths the stayong also.

This hotel is in a bad neighborhood. There is little parking. The hand rails in the hotel were loose and dangerous. My room smelled of smoke, but was clean. I would not recommend this hotel to families or anyone concerned about their safety.

This hotel is attached to a bar and has outside entrances. The characters "hanging around" were unsavory and I did not feel safe after dark. Though the price is good, I would not stay there again.

This is an older hotel with recent renovation. The heater was a newer Amana unit, but it was noisy and woke me up several times. I needed to park my SUV with a UHaul trailer and all the desk clerk could offer was, "good luck". I did find a spot and will never know i parked in hotel parking as they share a lot with a local warehouse. When we drove into the neighborhood, we said, "Oh no." Right near the Amtrak station, on a street that was being torn up for construction. Kind of dreary. But the room itself was perfectly clean and comfortable, and the folks at the front desk were friendly, and our stay ended up fine. If you want an attractive neighborhood, go somewhere else.
