We had 4 people with 2 double rooms. One room is very small but the boss(I guess) promised us that he will adjust another bigger room for us because we will stay for 6 nights. Luckily we got it in the next day when we back to hotel. Everything in hotel seems not too far as we expected. Of course you can't treat it as a modern hotel but it's enough for us for what you paid in London. The location is great. It takes around 10 mins slow walk to Paddington train station/underground. Convenience is better than anything. The breakfast is also not bad but I strongly suggest don't order continental breakfast. English breakfast is good and the quantity is enough for us. Even though we asked more toast sometimes, they were willing to offer. Orchard hotel gave us 6 good sleeping nights during our stay in London. We are willing to recommend it to others if you have budget control.

Very nice hotel, convenient for eating and shopping, only 200m away from Paddington Station, I'll come to stay at this hotel again in my next trip to London.

"Stay Only if Flying"
We spent a week in the countryside and stopped here before turning in our rental car at Heathrow the next day before going into London. This hotel is impossible to get to by GPS. You can drive by but the entrance is in the back and very hard to find. Hint use the intersection of the back streets from the location map. Parking is expensive. There is […] no free interent, it's expensive. We had a King room, the windows were dirty and the hotel was tired in the halls. We flew in and out of Heathroww. Rented a car to go to Cotswald area. Stayed here the night before our flight home. Did not need transport to the airport since we were returning our rental before our flight, but did see the sign about the shuttle and the cost. Easy to get to from the M4. Very tired hotel. Worst we stayed in during our 6 week stay in UK. Room outdated. Internet expensive and very slow. Food a rip off. No-one cared or tried to help.

"Bus"
Something that I really liked is that the public transportation is in a walking distance. We took it to the underground train system which allowed us access to central London. Great people.
Very comfortable. Friendly helpful staff.

This is a great place to start your holiday, 10 mins away from airport, always spend the evening before my flight here.
"Good stay for not too much money"
We just slept over on our way further out of London. The room was comfortable, even for the 3rd person who slept on the couch. The bar is great. The staff can get a bit impersonal, but this is an airport hotel - with the amount of people that pass through here, it is hard to be courteous all the time.

The Hotel is excelent: nice reception service, I made my reservation 2 months earlier by Internet "hotels.com", everithing was perfect. The reception was fast, the room was very clean, and confortable, very good Shuttle service from the airport (cost 4 pounds each direction) but you have to know that it can take 25 min from the hotel to terminal 1, […] because the shuttle goes to another 3 hotels more before it arravies to the airport. If your fly is from terminal 5, it takes 5 minutes drive from the hotel, the same time from terminal 1 to the hotel. The hotel was alright for the price and the buffet breakfast was well stocked. The BAD thing is that you have to pay the shuttle to and from the airport plus this is a 4 star hotel and NO free WI-FI, NO pool. If you have a car rental I recommend, if not be ready to pay 4.50 pounds per person each way to the airport
"Nice for price"
This hotel was OK for the price. Good breakfast for price (not free). However, you would think as close as they are to Heathrow, they would have some kind of free pick up service. As it is it cost $7 each way to get to/from airport (on Hoppa), $18 each way on cab. Sofa roll out bed was very lumpy.

The staff, in particular the manager on duty was very rude. We made a reservation for a standard room for four adults through Hotels.com. When we went to check in, they only had two adults in the system and said it was our fault and continued to argue with us. The manager on duty did not want to give us a room for four adults so we ended up with a room […] that had one king size bed and a dunk-bedish sofa. When our room was ready, she did not acknowledge our presence and would not give us what we asked for originally. Which is funny because normally a standard room comes with two queen size beds, am I right? This hotel does not know that no matter what, the customer is wrong... Plus, for how much the originally room price is, I am surprised you have to pay for internet and it is very expensive. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. If you need a place to stay close to the airport, there are plenty of hotels other than this one close by. Читати далі
"Heathrow Holliday Inn M4/J4"
They "upgraded" us to an Executive room, what they didn't tell us is that we are basically sharing a suite with strangers behind the locked connecting door. Which, by the way, does not block any sound whatsoever. So these loud girls come rolling in about 1AM laughing and hooting and all, and even after I asked the front desk to help and they called, […] we could still hear them as if they were in our own room. Then they are up two hours before we want to awake, and we could hear their talking and hair-dryer as if it was in our own room. At one point our TV came on for a few seconds before going off. Why? Because the hotel had the remote controls in the wrong room, because we are SHARING A BLOODY ROOM. This is a 300-pound room, too. If they offer you an upgrade to executive, try to refuse it. "Convenient and comfortable"
Close to airport. Easy access to bus stop to get you to the underground. We bought Oyster cards and travel into London every day was easy.
Clean, comfortable, quiet and good value for the money.

Arrived late from Munich. Nice to have a hotel close to the airport. Complimentary breakfast was good. Shuttle provided for reasonable amount back to airport next morning.
"Cabbie nightmare"
There are 2 or 3 Holiday Inns that are listed as close to Heathrow airport. I showed the cabbie the confirmation and he still took us to the wrong hotel. It cost $30.60 by cab and of course we did not discover the error until the cabbie (who was rude, by the way) was gone. The reservation could not be transferred because it was pre-paid. The next cabbie […] was an additional $15! By the time we got to the room we were tired and the room was really too small for 2 adults and 2 teens. The trundle only had bedding for a twin. There were only 2 towels. The room temprature rose during the night and interrupted our sleep. I could recommend the hotel for a couple traveling alone - not a family. If you need to get to Heathrow, take the Hoppa bus - but it had stopped running by 11 p.m. Читати далі

Overall the hotel was good except the telephone did not work. Maintenance came immediately and switched out handset then the whole telephone but declared there was a line fault...so I was left without phone service.....very inconvenient. They did offer to switch rooms but I was settled in and very tired so I declined. The toilet barely flushed and took […] 3 flushes, after a long wait for tank to refill each time. to accomplish a fresh toilet. "OK, but not the best choice for Heathrow"
This hotel is OK but not great. Next time I would stay at a hotel much nearer the airport (a couple are in the same complex) - there are buses to Windsor and elsewhere from the airport that are much cheaper than the taxi from this Holiday Inn - just in case you have a few hours to kill, but check the timing of the buses! Room and breakfast were both very good. Irish pub inside the hotel was very pleasant. Concierge service didn't know much about the area and they charged us for the room again at checkout. It's really not close enough and is in a very confusing confluence of routes so that you need a taxi to get there from the airport....over 15 GBP each way.

There is another Holiday Inn close by, so the taxidriver was in doubt on which hotel to drive to. Bus connection to and from Heathrow cost 4 pound; if you are 2 or three, take taxi.

We rented a car for our trip. Took us a while to find the hotel. It wouldn't have been more convenient to take the airport shuttle. We enjoyed our stay. Very professional and helpful staff. "Great digs"
We did have a challenge getting to the hotel due to the late time and weather and we kept missing the right turn. It was the most comfortable bed (king) in UK and a peaceful last night before heading to the airport early the next day.

"Great hotel for catching flight at heathrow"
The rooms were large as we see in the US. Use this hotel for a layover. It certainly isn't for those traveling to visit central london. The price was also just right.

The hotel itself is ok 3 star Hotel but it's location is to remote from the Heathrow Airport.I would recomend to stay in a more expensive hotel in the city centre the cost travelling from the hotel is higher than a more expensive hotel. 25 minutes Bus ride to and from Heathrow to the hotel costs 20 dollars. Veldig fint hotell, med utrolig god service. Et hotell som absolutt anbefales. Eneste negative er avstanden og reisetiden inn til London sentrum.
