Good service, good clean room, though small, but most likely that is all that gets for that price in Geneva, where hotels have to be built on limited land, and most likely land is very expensive. Our room was about 20'x15'. Bathtub was bit small, but was usable. Staff is extremely friendly. We have seen such great service in a very few hotel. They were professional and very eager to help. Except for the size everything was excellent.

This hotel is walking distance to the train station which is convenient for arrival and leaving. Tram can be picked up outside the hotel but the Lake and old Town are both within walking distance. Hotel itself could not be faulted. We had free upgrade to superior room with terrace and jacuzzi bath. Would definitely use both hotel and this website again for booking.

i recommend this hotel to families mostly..but its actually 4 stars hotel and not 5 stars....but i can be consedred as 5 stars really....its distance to the lake is reasonable ....and very important for the first travellers there that the train startion if u r coming from paris or so ..it is on the same streat exactly no need to take a taxi ....and its really nice hotel ....they gave u free tickets for all ur family to use the boat during the whole stay in geneva to transfer u across the lake....and they gave u offer in their resturants if u order the main course u will have the starter or the desert free to the whole family .best wishes

We loved this hotel. The location is pretty much as everyone else has reported, easy walk to/from train station, 10 minute walk from the lakefront, slightly sketchy areas if you take the wrong route. But we never felt unsafe. We had the Executive room which was super comfortable and beautiful and larger than I expect in Europe. There was a coach for hanging out and the flat screen TV. The bathroom was large and clean and had everything you need. Bathrobes and slippers included. We never got the turn down service mentioned by others, but it's hard to care. Didn't hear a sound at night. Loved it.

Nice Hotel and location, but house keeper is not good. I reserved 2 triple rooms and 1 single room. Nobody come to made the extra bed we had to call and they did not clean carpet very day. I stayed for 3 days they did not clean carpet. that's all that should improve.

As you can see from the scores we were very impressed with the hotel. The facilities were excellent - didn't try the restaurant so can't comment on that. The staff were universally friendly, helpful & professional - really refreshing. The only down side was the location which was set back about 10 mins walk from the lake - but to be fair the proce reflected this - easily as good as the lake front hotels if you are happy strolling.

I stayed in this hotel in middle of March, 2009. A nice, very comfortable hotel. The room was not small at all. View from hotel's room was not a great one but when you stay in cities, the view is not the main thing you are looking at. Good location, I could reach all the tourist places I wanted within walking distance. The hotel's reception also gave me a card to travel on public transport for free during my stay. Unfortunately, the hotel parking was full but I managed to park the car 100 metres away from hotel in underground parking of a shopping center and it was not too expensive.

Upon arrival, the hotel staff were really friendly. We stayed in the executive suite in the hotel. This included complimentary water, a great coffee machine, comfy beds and just superb finishings! Will definitely be going back again!

Very convenient location: one tram stop to the central train station, and the tram stops right in front of the hotel. A bit too far to walk with heavy luggage, but would be ok with light luggage. Time to walk vs. tram is probably about the same. Hotel gives free city transportation passes, including the train to the airport (which runs about every 10 min). The executive room is too small for 3 with luggage: the sofabed unfolds but takes up pretty much all walking space. Would be ok for 2 people though. Free WiFi, ask for username&password at the reception.

Been several times and found nothing to complain about yet

We choose this holel on a budget on got a great deal for the weekend. The Hotel is situated about a 5-10 min walk from the lake in what felt like a safe area( we felst safe and secure). The main train station is only a 2 min walk. The Hotel porvided free passes for the tram and train network. The airport is only 5 mins by train, we arrived by taxi from the airport which cost about £10. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. We did not eat at the hotel, only because there were so many nice small places to visit. Overall I did not think the description did the hotel justice and I was little hesitant and wondering what we would find. I was very pleasantly suprised. For a weekend break I would highly recommend this hotel, though it might not be so good value if you have to pay full price, all the same a great hotel.

Booked this hotel last minute and was very pleasantly surprised by the standards. Very friendly and helpful staff and the room was comfortable, clean and well-appointed. Would definitely go back and stay.

This hotal was a bargain from this site and when we arrived we were up graded to an executive suite. It was the best hotel we have stayed. the staff were friendly, free internet access, amazing coffee maker in the room. there is a great pizza resturant over the road that does takeaway. could have spent more of the holiday just relaxing in the room.

This hotel is in great location, however we waited for our room for 6 hours due to them granting a late check out to the person in the room only after they knew we were waiting. Taken to room only to find that they had given it away to another guest. 8 Hours later this traveler 13 hours of travel checked into an upgraded room only to find it was not clean and had no linenes on bed. There was nothing ROYAL about this hotel. Never received any scheduled wake up calls includoing our 4am call for our departure to airport at 5am, talk about a mad rush to get to the airport....

This was the second time that I visited Geneva and went to the same hotel, the Royal because it left a good memory the first time I stayed. I have no doubt that I will be using it again if I return to Geneve.

3 of us shared an executive room for a reasonably priced, reasonably luxurious night. We used their wireless conection with no problem. Breakfast not included in room price. We ate at their sister hotel Edelweiss-an absolute must.. Typical swiss style chalet restaurant serving fondue with musical entertainment, alpine horn an' all. A great experience!

très bon rapport qualité/prix. Mini bar, café ... dans la chambre, idéal pour le réveil

personnel compétent. hall et salons bien décorés . mais la chambre était exiguë il y avait un 3ème lit . lors d'un prochain séjour je ne choisirais cet hotel

Hotel propre et confortable. Bien situé au centre de Geneve. L'hotel donne gracieusement des tickets pour prendre le tram le temps du sejour.

Excellent accueil, personnels aimables et chaleureux, les chambres sont excellentes et très propres. Petit déjeuner excellent, très riche, comme dans les meilleurs hôtels du monde, avec un service excellent. Très bon restaurant, cuisine bonne et fraîche. J'étais ravi.

Prima weekend hotel. Uitstekende prijs/kwaliteit verhouding. Ruime (executive) kamer, fijne sauna.Zou zeker weer boeken bij een bezoek aan Geneve

hotel bien situé, le service y est de très haut de gamme. Toutes les personnes sont super gentils et disponibles. Prévoir 35 CHF en plus pour le parking dispo 24/24 avec voiturier... rien à redire. ++ les patisseries de l'hotel sont fantastiques.

Cet hôtel est très agréable et joliment décoré. Le personnel est accueillant et efficace.

AC frakoblet 01OCT - 25gr. om natten. Kunne ikke sove. Vindue mod meget trafikkeret gade så vi kunne ikke sove med åbent vindue.

Das Hotel befindet sich im Herzen von Genf, etwa 200m vom Bahnhof entfernt und alle wichtigen Sehenswürdigkeiten sind von dort aus zu Fuss zu ereichen. Der Stadtteil Paquis bietet darüber hinaus eine Vielzahl von Bars und Restaurants sowie Shopping Möglichkeiten. Vom Abiente war ich angenehm überrascht. Als ein Hotel der Manotel-Gruppe, die alle in nahebei liegen, bietet es ein individuelles Design und gutes gastronomisches Angebot. Insgesamt ein gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis mit Wiederholungsfaktor.

Terribile servizio, disorganizzato, personale incompetente, tanti incontri mali. Hanno detto che faranno una rivalsa, ma non e accaduto.

Localisation parfaite (3 mn gare, 1mn lac). Les chambres sont un peu petites mais le niveau de prestation globale est satisfaisant.

Hotel tres bien. Chambres tres propres et luxueuses. Restaurant delicieux, à essayer sans faute !

Lage, Servcie, Zimnmer waren sehr gut.
