Reasonable for the price, hotel parking area is a nightmare, location is very convenient to everything & room was quite comfortable. Overall I am fairly happy with the hotel & I would consider staying there again.

The room was adequately sized and comfortable, but a major down side was that it wasn't very clean. There were things caked onto the sofa (food from previous guests I assume), there was some food/liquid splatterings on the wall near the bed and the shower had mould in it. This branch of Adina Apartment Hotel in Melbourne has clearly been forgotten in any upgrade or renovation. Staff were kurt and uninterested at the front desk. Great staff - really convenient location, both for the business meeting I attend in Melbourne - and for the beach / park and social activities when I am not working. They could use to throw a coat of paint on the place, but other than that - I'm a big fan.

Annoyed that the hotel will attempt to charge for on site hotel parking without informing prior to booking.Flight out of Melbourne late at night but would not accomodate for a late check-out so out from hotel at 10am till flight at 8.45pm.Requested roll-away bed in room for first night did not supply so had to use fold-out couch but still requested […] payment!! Parking at night was a lottery never sure if there would be any bays would be available late at night had to use public parking on one occasion. We booked this hotel for a really good rate but unfortunately we must have been given one of the worst apartments. After reading good reviews this was disappointing. The apartment was roomy and spacious.. The kitchen and bathroom modern but very basic . Towels were thin and scratchy, only one bed sheet (no top sheet!) with a quilt that did not fit in […] the quilt cover, the end was ripped and did not fit the bed properly. For some reason the TV was placed high on the wall in the kitchen and we had to stretch and strain our necks to watch it. There was an small outside area that had not been cleaned, and it was not private as it was surrounded by tall buildings and other apartments. There was also construction work going on which was noisy, It was also strange that some of the apartments were occupied by permanent residents and others were offices. Very comfortable and clean room and a convenient location. Staff were extremely attentive - e.g. they had a replacement hair dryer in the room within 5 minutes when I let them know that ours was faulty. We stayed in a 'premier apartment' which had 2 single beds - bathroom not that private but it was modern and the shower was fantastic! Good kitchenette […] and decent sized fridge. The only thing that could have improved the room was if there had been a security fly screen on the balcony door, so that we could have left the main door open and let some air into the room overnight. Wonderful staff and location with one of Melbournes best restaurants, Fitzrovia, just downstairs for breakfast, lunch and dinner. would highly recommend both! We were given an upgrade without asking due to the hotel being very busy over the Christmas break. Will book both Medina and Fitzrovia again next time we're in town!

Stayed here two years ago and came back as the location is great. We enjoy getting around in trams and eating out. Construction noise still happening even after two years. On a positive the room was always serviced very well. Had everything we needed and a superb IGA is across the road stocking absolutely everything!

Best to park a car on the ground floor public carpark and pay for ticket parking. The Medina paid to the hotel carpark on 1st floor extremeley hard to get in and up to. Once there there's no spots as residents take them all and can,t turn around to get out massive heaache. All else was really good.

The Medina Executive is a group of 4 or so apartment units connected by random corridors that kind of feel very temporary. There are also offices on various levels from what I could tell. There was construction going on when I stayed but no significant impact on my stay other than slow lift. My room had a bad smell which I figured out was wet carpet […] from the bathroom. the smell never went away while I was there. The bathroom has a wet style shower where it goes all over the floor and the water was leaking through the tiled floor and wall through in to the bedroom part (room 53) The internet was $12 per hour or $24 per 24 hours - rip off and cheaper to tether to my iphone. The room was a pretty good size and the kitchen had everything required. Location is good with options for food on the street and a short walk away. Easy to hear neighbours. There was a lot of noise from building work on an adjacent apartment block which meant we could not enjoy the apartment. The builders started at 7am and worked until 5pm. Although the apartments were being built long before we arrived we were not advised about the construction or potential noise and disruption. The building work is still ongoing.

Nice value for money. Construction noise was a little disturbing and having to leave the hotel to have breakfast meant we found our own non-recommended restaurants. Nice location with the tram system right out the front door.

I enjoyed my time at the Medina and the fact that we were upgraded in order to meet our need for two beds. With a grocery store for shopping and a tram for getting down town almost opposite it could not be in a better location.

Overall a good hotel. Reception service was hit and miss. There were a few receptionists who were helpful and well informed with the exception of one staff who couldn't give much information regarding travel via tram. The rooms were noisy, we could hear the wardrobe door opening and closing from the next room and footsteps from the room above.

Great location - close enough to everything fun - but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful. It use the trams to get around, which where cheap and easy to use. The room was one of those on the top floors, front of the building, with a view of the park. Great size for a one bedroom and very nice staff.

The hotel was nice and most of the staff were lovely. Unfortunately there was building work being done next door which began at 3am Saturday morning!! We were not informed of this until we arrived to check in on Friday afternoon. staff were incredibly helpful. room was very dusty but otherwise clean. bathroom basin took ages to drain which proved disconcerting when brushing teeth etc. would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The Hotel's best asset is it's location. Parking was reasonable too if you had a car. The pillows were too hard and there was no top sheet just a duvet and bottom sheet. They were accommodating though if we needed any thing. Could have been a tad cleaner but overall ok as the location was brilliant.

Air conditioner control was hidden Room was freeezing. staff came up and turned it on but refused to leave control with me. Very uncomfortable night. Room itself was great. Staff on checking in and out also great.

Handy to city and st kilda rd trams. Supermarket, chemist etc only a block away. I was very impressed with service that was given when we arrived with the help of one of the front desk people who had just finished a shift and offered to help with the bags. I wasn't to impressed with my Credit Card been swiped but not told that they would put a hold on a $100 which I was made aware of by my bank when I queried the amount. The w/e […] was extremely hot and I decided to sleep on the pull out sofa bed both the Sat. & Sun. night but the bed was broken and I was able to pull it out but couldn't get it back in so I had to sit on the floor until around 1.30pm until some one came to look at it. The hotel is very near our daughter, and she recommended it. It's a short walk to the beach, lots of restaurants, Luna Park. The hotel fronts to the tram, giving access to anything you want to access. The room was clean, and had many amenities, including a patio where we enjoyed our breakfast
