Rodeway Inn - Куперсвілль

We needed a place to stay with close proximity to GVSU. We arrived late, left early - so all we needed was a clean place to sleep, and this Inn satisfied our requirements perfectly. Easy access from I-96, and about a 10-12 minute easy and direct drive to GVSU.

Hotel is a good condition. It is close to the highway and has a lot of fast food places right next to it. It's the little things that prevent it from getting a full 5. AC seemed to have turned itself off occasionally, the waffles were turning out weird during the breakfast and there weren't any restaurants near by. We Stayed in room 211. The deadbolt lock would not work. Exterior doors would not close after entry, leaving access to anyone, even people who did not stay at the hotel. Beds were comfortable and clean. The rate was good. Nice Pool and Spa.

We surprised our children with a one night getaway to the Rodeway Inn while we were in the area for a extended family event. Booking the room was fast and easy on Hotels.com. The service was excellent and accommodating considering it was the weekend of Daylight Savings Time. The pool area was chilly, be tolerable. The hot tub was refreshing.

I'm tall so I noticed the dust on top of the TV cabinet. Pillows were flat, not fluffy. I checked for bedbugs, as I do in all hotels and found food crumbs between the matresses ( no bedbugs, whew). Had to oa keep adjusting the thermostat. Beakfast was limited but again, ok. I got what I paid for and thats OK.

The hotel was clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast left alot to be desired. Only cold cereal, grocery store donuts and a waffle maker. We needed a place to sleep and it fit the bill. Not alot of choices around that area. Didn't use the pool, but it looked clean.

Very outdated and kinda had an odor. But it is ok for being the only hotel near Ravenna where we attended a wedding.

The hotel was older but clean. It is very close to Grand Valley State University. The continental breakfast included cereal, doughnuts, bagels, waffles, juice and milk which was better than we anticipated. We did not use the pool or hot tub but saw others using the facility and they appeared clean and well maintained.

Was very happy with this hotel. Rooms were very clean and the staff was pleasant. Very easy to get to from the exit. Seems like a very nice town. Would stay there again if I'm back in the area. About 20 miles away from Michigan Adventure.Much cheaper than anything right in Muskegon.

Need to have a longer shower curtain. In the not to distant they may have water leaks into the floors below. I also felt the room was a little on the costly side, since I checked in late(2:00).

I think it's a really nice hotel. The pool and breakfast were both good. The staff is friendly and courteous. About 15 min. drive to Michigan's Adventure in Muskegon. The only thing I don't like is the location because you can only get on the highway in one direction. Newly remodeled rooms, very nice. Great value comfortable and clean. Nice pool area. Breakfast is decent. Rooms need mini fridge, and a bit of a drive to Michigan's Adventure. Would definately stay again.

Just there for an overnight stay before Michigan Adventures. Observations: the room and hotel were clean (bathroom, bedding, and all furniture), the service was decent (the information that we asked for was provided by the front desk), The hotel is right off of the expressway and the sign can be seen from the exit. Our stay was comfortable. I had called the hotel and extended our stay another day and had some difficulty making the reservation. We also had difficulty understanding the man at the desk due to his accent and he seemed to have difficulty understanding us. We were in connecting rooms with my brother-in-law. The lock on our door between the rooms didn't work. All my brother-in-law had to do was turn the handle on our door and the door opened. There is a dump across the freeway that creates some "less than pleasant" smells once in a while, but this isn't the hotels fault. It does NOT smell inside the hotel. The staff was very nice and even allowed us to check out a bit late so our kids could swim in the pool/hot tub. The breakfast was great, but lacking in any kind of fruit/healthy options […] (waffles, bagels, donuts, english muffins, cereal, oatmeal, etc.). Convenient to Michigan UP with easy access to interstate. Room clean but needs some updating. Nice little pool area with hot tub. Continental breakfast subpar with relation to other hotels. Better than the two star rating it presently has.

I was very happy with my stay. Everything was clean. I loved the water pressure for the shower. A lot of hotels have poor water pressure, but not this one! It was also very quiet, despite being near a major highway.

The hotel seemed short staffed for a Saturday night. Trash containers were overflowing, hallways were littered, laundry facilities were not clean. Our room was fine however.

After reading a ton of reviews about hotels in muskegon, I decided to stay here. It was worth it. It was a lot cheaper and it was pretty clean. The pool was nice. The hallways were hot, but the air in the room worked fine. I do hope that the owners read the next part... The continental breakfast was lacking. No fruit. Warm Orange Juice both mornings. […] AND, during the week, the close the breakfast down at 9. I had trouble getting my kids down there before 9.. PLEASE KEEP BREAKFAST OPEN UNTIL 10!!!! Very convenient to local businesses. Awesome pool area, peaceful atmosphere, abundant breakfast despite having to share the hotel with several groups of baseball players. Will definately stay there again!

We stayed here after a day at Michigan Adventure. Right off the interstate, close to restraunts, clean and the kids loved the pool. Only downside was the double beds. Would recommend this hotel.

Our a/c unit didn't work properly; either staying on non-stop and freezing us or if we turned it down, cycling constantly and loudly. Beds were pretty hard. Need to add water to the vending machine-only soda was available

The hotel and our room was clean and the staff was very friendly. We only had the continental breakfast one of the days but it did the job. The price was right and we will definitely stay there again.

Room was decently clean, but large stain on the mattress. Continental breakfast with nice selection, but no fruit. Nice pool room, but 2 cigarette butts in the pool (likely from the couple in the room overlooking the pool. Would I recommend the place? No. Would I stay here again? I might.

Paid a touch more than others for pool and work out room. Pool was OK. Work out room was a laugh riot! 6x10 foot with treadmill that couldn't hold a 200lb man. Circa 1970s bike and "out of order" small weight machine. TV got 2 channels and remote didn't match TV. Oh yeah - clock didn't work either. Room was a dissapointment. 50 degrees when we got there, […] and son went to flush toilet - No water. Someone didn't like that the toilet was leaking so they turned off the water - no bothered to check that it was off. I had to turn the water back on to use, then off to sleep. Person running the front you could smell from 6 feet away, and breath from 4 feet away - nice flip flops though. "Continental Breakfast" was out of this continent. This was a nice hotel for us. We were visiting Michigan's Adventure and many of the closer hotels are not the nicest. We gave the comfort of the room a 3 because the beds were a bit lacking in comfort, and we had stiff backs in the morning. The breakfast is modest...waffles, cereal, bagels & english muffins, donuts, milk, juice, oj, tea & coffee. Instant […] oatmeal packets and some fresh fruit would be a nice addition.
