Super 8 Motel - Knoxville Downtown/West - Ноксвілль

This hotel is a decent place to stay if you have little or no time to investigate the city of Knoxville, and not much money. The rates were the best in town and room comfort and quality was good. This motel is in a convenient location, only a 5 minutes drive to UT Medical Center, which was my reason for visiting Knoxville. What's not pleasant? Musty smell. Not kept up well. Front desk lady carried on personal convesarion while I waited for 5 mins. Great location for travel to Florida....but would stay somewhere else next time. Pay the extra $25.00

convenient location at the right price. One can't expect luxury for the price. Fine to spend a night or 2 near downtown Knoxville; we used it for a college football weekend and it worked great. Coffee , USA today , in the morning, then off you go. The hotel was sold out, so glad we got the room.

Was glad to find a last minute hotel on Game Day. Could have planned better if the game time had been posted earlier. Otherwise felt like I was camping out in the frat house.

The staff was very rude. I was not happy with the service at all. We booked two rooms and both parties received bad service. We travel to Knoxville once a month for work and will NOT stay here again. The room was ok, clean, and nice size.

night staff was rude cont, breakfast was not all that great it alright if you need a bed to sleep in.

My granddaughter and I stayed 3 nights during the AQS quilt show. Room was clean and nice, especially for the price. Pool had leaves, but was close to bushes and trees. Staff was friendly. My 13-yr.-old and I were pleased. If we ever go to Knoxville again, would stay at this hotel.

We did some research on hotels.com before booking our hotel. Despite the fact that we lived in Knoxville for a long time, we weren't necessarily familiar with hotels in the area. We chose this one because the price was right, and the location was perfect. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. We didn't get a chance to use it but the pool […] looked nice and had a shallow, baby pool area. The room doors open to the outside and there's no indoor hallway, which can be noisy if your neighbors are the partying kind (ours weren't). The continental breakfast wasn't anything to write home about, but it was enough to get you going in the morning, with coffee, juice, milk, cereal, and pastries. If you want something more substantial, there's a Waffle House right next door. The hotel is just off I-75/40 so there is a little traffic noise, but that's the price you pay for being close to the interstate. There's a good variety of restaurants nearby, and the University of Tennessee is just a few interstate miles away. All in all, we would definitely stay there again. If you are looking for a luxury hotel, this isn't it. If you're looking for a clean place to sleep and maybe a pool to splash around in, with shopping, restaurants and the interstate close by, this is a great place. Читати далі

Room was dirty, hot- dead bugs in bathroom. Had allergic reaction to smoking room when a non-smoking room had been booked!! Checked out early. Front desk clerk was rude!

Since my best friend lives in Knoxville, we typically stay at this hotel 2 - 3 times a year since it is the closest to her; however, I doubt we will stay at this hotel again. We have stayed in the hotel for at least 5 separate times, and for us the convenience was a great thing. The cost is great considering all we needed were the beds at night ... […] we are typically gone during the day. This hotel 'gets the job done', but it is nothing special. All of the day staff are extremely friendly and have demonstrated great customer service. The night staff seems to lack professionalism and has been rude on the past two stays - enough so that I will pay the little extra for a hotel less than a mile away. - Note: The key cards for the door are so sensitive, and are easily erased .... more so than my experience at other hotels. The night man was RUDE. We checked in at 1101pm. He locked the doors (to be fair, sign said policy was to lock them at 11) with me there, but then took his dear time in the lobby and didn't serve me at all until I rang the bell--even though he had made eye contact with me already. Another lady came down to get ice a few minutes later. He completely […] ignored her. I asked for a 1st floor room if possible since we were traveling with an infant and there's so much to carry with that. He laughed. Truly, he was horrible. The morning staff was MUCH better. The pool was clean and pretty, but we didn't swim in it b/c we had more driving to do in the morning. The room was clean and accommodating. There was a perfect spot near the restroom for the travel crib we were using. The beds were WAY too firm for my liking, but my husband loved them. To put the beds' firmness in perspective, we have a sleep # bed at home. I like mine set at 45/50 & he likes his at 70. The continental breakfast left something to be desired though. There was toast, 3 cereals, mini-muffins, cake donuts, orange & apple juice, & coffee. No bagels, waffles, or fruits. I requested a room with a strong internet signal and was immediately told that I would have to call an 800 number, if I had any issues. I was constantly knocked off the internet and when I was on, it was very slow. I called the number provided no less than 10 times in a 3 day stay and they kept giving the excuse that the adjoining extended stay had […] people who were streaming video. They had to reset the system to "knock" these people off the internet. Even this did not help. Do not stay here, if you want to get any work completed. Читати далі

Pool was out of service, which was one of the main reasons we picked the hotel b/c we have kids. Otherwise good stay for price.

nice ,clean room ..pet friendly,comfortable beds a helpfull staff everything we needed for a nights stay .....the coffee maker didnt work was the only thing .....

the rooms were nice and clean. felt very safe in the area. my only dislike was the washers and dryers old an had to wash an dry more then once. But thats the only thing for me. will go back again and recommend to family and friends,many thanks to the staff....

We were told room was non-smoking, but smell of cigarettes was terrible. Our clothes and luggage still smelled of the smoke after we arrived home. Not able to change rooms. The second room was better. Walking into the room it was warm. We adjusted the air conditioner and it would put out cold air. We went to dinner and came back to a confortable temperture in the room. The bed was firm and comfortable. The hot water was very hot. We had to search all over to find an ice machine. It was not very conveniently located on […] the upper floor. The complimentary breakfast was a joke. They had some cake donuts and a couple kinds of cereal. The juice machine was empty. When it was refilled, it got clogged and would not dispense anything. The clerk finally got it to dispense some liquid. However, it was not mixed very well. We chose this hotel because it was inexpensive and close to our destination. It met those requirements. The hotel was probably what should be expected for a Super 8 - economy hotel. No frills. Because of a problem with our room assignment, we were upgraded to a mini-suite, Parking on the side of the hotel closest to the interstate seemed risky. A bit concerned about two men outside the hotel--one of which was lying on a wall of sorts under a light pole. […] Seems like a place for construction workers or truckers, primarily. Had a heaviy deodorized smell when we first entered the room, but it went away as the door gets opened and closed a few times. The selling point for me on this hotel was that it allowed pets. Easy to find location. Excellent price. Had a microwave, safe and refidgerator. Hotel is close to the highway and traffic is very loud in the morning. The location is great and for the money, I would stay here again.

Overall conditions of the hotel was poor. Rooms were very unclean, and had a horrific odor. If you choose to stay here, any money saved will be spent on drycleaning and/or washing your clothes.

checkin was very smooth....and for the distance right off the interstate was not bad at all.

our door did not shut completely, that was the biggest concern.

Good location, older but clean. Room has small fridge, microwave and hair dryer. Continental breakfast wasn't much - cereal, juice, coffee, muffins. I was looking for something close and inexpensive. This fit the bill.
