The hotel location (EZ access to I69 / I94 and downtown Port Huron) was great. Further, who can complain about a free breakfast (waffles, eggs, toast, etc)! However, the bed was a bit mushy and the blower fan from the heater / air-conditioning unit made it difficult to get a good nights rest.

We were not able to check in at the stated time, it was actually 2 hours late. We were not able to get the room we asked for or would have needed to wait longer. Hotel was clean and nice for the money. Our daughter did leave a valuable item in the room and we were able to call later and get it back. Staff is very friendly. The continental breakfast was good, different items than what you would normally see, including a waffle station. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the hotel is in a convenient location. Not really walking distance to anywhere, you have to drive to restaurants and shops. I stayed here with my fiancé for a shopping […] trip. The pictures on this website are a bit misleading, I thought there would be a soaker tub as pictured, but there was not. We were also really tired at the end of the day, and would have killed for an onsite restaurant. We didn't get a chance to use the pool but it looked nice. All in all a good place to stay. I'm not sure what the designers had in mind with the placement of the swimming pool behind the breakfast/dining area. We hoped to go for an early morning swim to avoid the small children but we didn't care to be the breakfast crowd entertainment. But all in all the hotel staff and the room was great and reasonably priced.

the address is a bit misleading, as there is no entry from the street it is listed on (hancock) and we ended up back on the expressway. that was frustrating! once we found the entry though, the hotel was very nice. comfy, well maintained rooms with nice heavy linens.

Stayed here for work - everything was fine - nothing about the hotel was great. I ended up staying 2 nights - so stayed in 2 rooms (last minute change). Both rooms were clean and had newer bathrooms. Had a late check-in (about 11:00 PM) Comfy beds/Pillows. No noise at night, quick and friendly staff. Breakfast was OK. They were out of stock on some of the items (although we did hit the buffet at 9, buffet closes at 10). All in all was a nice stay and would visit again if in the area.

We booked the same day we stayed and found it quickly and easily once in Port Huron. Check in was super fast and staff very pleasant. Lobby was decorated beautifully for Christmas and kids were playing a board game in the table & chairs area - very homey feel ! Pool and hot tub were perfect and open late which was super! We loved the location of the hotel as it was right by resturants and lots of shopping. We didn't use the pool but it looked clean and had a great kids area. P.S. the coffee was really good!

was not happy they had rooms booked for little football team and had them all over the hotel. Kids running around hallways knocking on doors, pushing little kids down. Staff and there parents not doing a thing.These kids not with parent in pool and play area.and staff doing nothing

Our over all experience was good,if i had to report any negatives they would be. The hot tub was barely warm and the pool was cold,and the continental breakfast wasn't that great,coffee sucked and variety was not there.

We just needed a place for the night. There was lots of construction going on and the GPS was confused. I called the hotel and the front desk person stayed on the line the entire time to get us right to the hotel. He then gave us a great recommendation for dinner just down the street. This was the third time we've stayed at this hotel. It's the only time we haven't been completely satisfied. The beds in our room were very old and uncomfortable. Other than that, everything was good.

Even though there was a pool and kid's area not far from our room location, we didn't hear a thing. The breakfast was good, the bed was comfortable, and it was very quiet.

Didn't find the bed comfortable at all, very soft but the king size made it more comfortable. One thing that did bother me was the amount of waste created by breakfast. I don't understand why reusable plates, cutlery, classes and cups weren't used, I saw 3 full garbage cans of avoidable waste. From a cost and green perspective it is the right thing […] to do. Lovely hotel, very clean. The staff were courteous and helpful! The pool and jacuzzi were well kept and open late, which I like. I only wish the hotel was a little closer to shopping. I would recommend to anyone!

I stayed with a girlfriend on a shopping weekend, but would definitely go back with the family. Conveniently located just over the Blue water bridge close to shopping and restaurants.

This place is no longer top notch. The long bumpy road into the hotel is ridiculous. Lots of construction noise from the bridge work.

The hotel was clean and the staff was courteous in every interaction. Incredibly easy to find as it is immediately visible from the Bridge to Canada. Hot breakfast was a nice change, it was tasty with lots of variety. Overall I very much enjoyed the hotel and would return in the future.

This is our third stay at this chain of hotel. all three left us unhappy. The room smelled, again of mildew. a simple washing of the shower curtain would help! Breakfast was okay.

We would definitely stay here again. The cleaning product used was a little heavily scented - overpowering as you enter the room. And construction nearby started at 7 a.m., so no alarm needed. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

A very nice place we have stayed before, and will again. At first we were worried about noise as our room was on the 4th floor, directly closest to the elevator and ice machine. We put a towel under the door bottom when we went to bed, and had zero noise issues. Everything else was great tto.

The hotel was clean and new. It wasn't fancy, but it had a nice cool pool and great Habitrail jungle gym for kids. I really missed having a mini-fridge and closet doors, but it was pretty good. Our sheets didn't get changed in the 4 nights we were there, which was too bad since we spent time at the beach and tended to bring sand home with us.
