"Small stuff adds up."
Its 4:00 pm. Printer didn't work out, had to come back in to sign a piece of paper, no biggie. Cleaning crew was cleaning room, I'll come back after we eat. Only brown door out of the building, eerie, but missing paint in a small spot right above the knob in the same spot a big dent was. What happened in this room and is safe/clean? I found out that […] the cleaning crew came through but only after they did so after I left. I didn't notice anything missing, but I didn't have a list of everything I had to reference. Ants in the bathroom. When I called to find out the WiFi password, I was told there wasn't one, just to click continue, which didn't work and I gave up. One of the nights I heard men outside holding a conversation very close to my room and it was more of an annoyance than a problem. I had reserved the room and stated I would have a my 6 year old daughter with me, and other hotels have gone out of there way to place us in a quite part of the building to ensure we didn't have any problems. Had a very nice stay. It was close to Purdue University and very convenient.

"Hotel/Motel In Lafayette, IN"
Went to the Superbowl in Indy, last minute hotel reservastions were difficult to get, we settled on this location because it was only and hour away and right off the highway. The price was escalated due to the event but fair considering other hotels in the area. The rooms were clean and for the smalll amoutn of time we used the room it served its purpose […] for us. We did have a heating issue (and in fairness to the staff there we did not report it until after we left so they did not have an opportunity to respond - whcih I think they would have done) Under the circumstrances I was very satisfied. Trying to find a decent place to stay at a decent price during Homecoming weekend - lets just say they are conflicting priorities. The rooms have been remodeled - and are actually pretty nice. "Quite satisfied"
This is one of the cheaper hotels in the area. Saying that first, I was satisfied with my stay. The room was very clean, and they had recently remodeled. The room had some extras like a fridge, and a microwave. The room was somewhat cramped though, and it would have been nice to have 2 queen beds instead of 2 full beds, but I don't know that there would […] have been space for that. The hotel is right in front of the local big chain super grocery store as was also near to local restaurants and other shopping.Overall, I was pleased. Had an excellent stay at The Red Roof Inn in Lafayette, Indiana. the front desk and staff were very nice, cordial and accomadating. The room was in very clean and great condition. Suggestion: Could use a small refrigerator in the room. But aside from that, it was very, very nice.Purdue University is just down the road to the west, it's a steraight shot/drive […] on Rt. 26. "Red Roof Inn in Lafayette, IN - Outdated"
The sign in front said "new rooms". Our room had a new vanity and a coat of paint, but otherwise looked very old and outdated. The bathroom is tiny, with a loud fan. The tiny packet of shampoo provided in the room was a joke. We went out and bought our own. On a positive note, the room had it's own refrigerator and microwave,which was nice. Rooms were perfectly clean and recently renovated, both of which we have come not to expect at this price point. Easy highway access and wealth of dining options nearby were also a plus.

Dear Sir, Hotels.com is a reputed site and most people use it. Please try and avoid hotels like Red Roof Inn. When we approached the receptionist, we were told the room allocated was not in order since the AC was was not working. They asked us to go to another hotel across the road...Kings Inn ( i forget the name). It was the worst hotel I have come […] across in USA. It was dirty, stained sheets, toilets were filthy. We came back and found that others who came after us were provided wit rooms. we confronted and they gave us a room. They tried to cheat us. "Surprisingly Good"
The interior has just been redone and its wonderful. The rooms were remarkably sound proof. The exterior could use some serious remodeling though. We had an EXCELLENT experience at this hotel. We arrived at 3:00 A.M. and the desk clerk was VERY Friendly and welcomed us. The room had all brand new appliances and was newly painted and renovated. The entire staff was very accomodating. We would definitely recommend it and we will stay there for our future visits to Lafayette, Indiana. Hank
stayed at knights Inn last year for the 500. It was a pit. Very strange strange moran woman checked us in and it took 45 min. . Broken beds, double booked one of our rooms , dirty blankets and sheets. Gross. No accommadations for our trouble. Red Roof will book again next year. Nice to see that the hotel was renovated. Good deal for graduation.
Overall, I am satisfied with this hotel and the services provided. The rate is affordable and reasonable.
"Updated Hotel"
This hotel was obviously recently updated. New flooring, paint, coutertops, and vanities throughout. Very clean. Highly recommended. The only downside....my pillows were extremely lumpy. Overall, one of the better hotels...especially for the money.

"Good for the price."
It was moderately clean. Maintenance was very kind, as was all hotel staff. Not the worst hotel i've stayed in.
"Red Roof Inn close to Purdue"
We wanted a clean room with comfortable beds at a reasonable price. This is exactly what we got. No frills, but none were wanted since we were going to be doing nothing other than sleeping before our campus visit. We will definitely stay there again if we need to visit Purdue in the future.

Easy access to Purdue. The room was in pristine condition (everything was new) and the bathroom sink was schnazzy. I was only there for one night, but it was a nice stay. "Lafayette Red Roof Inn Good Value Hotel"
Since it has recently remodeled the rooms, this hotel offers a good value for a nights sleep. The beds may not be on par with some of the bigger names, we had not trouble sleeping. would suggest bringing your own pillow unless you prefer flat ones. No breakfast, does have free coffee. Restuarnts very close and walmart is in the back yard.

Was making a college visit with my son and value was important. The room was recently remodeled, the bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. Help from the front desk was pleasent. This hotel was slightly overpriced considering the location and caliber of hotel. The room was recently updated. I would say the bed was comfortable and the fixtures appealing. However, there was no iron or hairdryer provided, and only two small bars of soap and a packet of shampoo was in the bathroom. The towels were also designed for children. Almost […] as soon as we got there, out toilet stopped flushing, but the front desk person cheerfully switched us to the room next door. That toilet was similarly difficult to flush, but we dealt with it. The front desk person noted they had a lot of plumbing problems lately. On the plus side, the staf was very warm and accomodating. Was very happy with hotel, clean room, staff friendly, close to everything, price was excellent. Would recommend to anyone. Booked online Hotel.com got great price just days before stay and staff was extremely helpful, let me use printer. Newly remodaled rooms, restuarants and stores in walking and driving distance. Very easy to find.
I had stayed at this hotel last fall and was very satisfied with the condition of the room and the overall service. This time around the rates were double(graduation week-end at local college) and the room was not quite as comfortable. Although it was clean the mattress was not as firm and the carpet was worn.
