Hotel is very nice with very neat decor. Our only disappointment was the continental breakfast which only consisted of commercial sweet rolls and the like. Instant oatmeal was available but no milk! A few selections of dry cereal with milk available would improve things greatly in the breakfast department.

My stay at the hotel was very pleasant. The staff was friendly and courteous, and my room was clean and quiet. The only small downside is that the parking is across the street.......sometimes inconvenient.

Hotel was clean, roomy and close within walking distance to Arena district. Crossing 8 lanes of traffic to get to the hotel parking lot was somewhat inconvenient, but understandable.

This hotel is a gem! Modern rooms, free wifi, close to amenities, and way cheaper than the other hotels nearby! Would be nice to have a few more room amenities, but overall a great stay.

I associate Red Roof with lower end chains like Motel 6, but the room and facility here are impeccable. The staff was entirely friendly and helpful and this was easily the cheapest hotel in the area. My only Caveat is that the continental breakfast was very carb heavy - even by hotel chain standards. No cereal and apples were the only fruit.

This was the most beautiful Red Roof Inn I've ever stayed in. Way more than just the regular trucker's inn. Rooms were very modern and clean. Even the hallway smelled as though the carpets were recently cleaned. The concierge at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. He (Jesse) even suggested a great place to get food.

I can't believe this is a Red Roof Inn. The feel when you're here is more like a hilton. From the extremely modern updated decor, to the cleanliness and warmth of the hotel over all, this will be the only place I stay for any of my business travels to Columbus. Five stars all the way, can't wait to go back.

We were in Columbus to see a physician at Ohio State. The hotel was perfect for our needs. The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. This is not a luxury hotel, but the building is very attractive and the rooms are nice. The drive to restaurants is short and the hotel is only 15 minutes from the airport.

This is a very nice hotel. The rooms were awesome, the staff was friendly, and the price wasn't too bad. The breakfast wasn't anything special, the parking lot for the hotel was across the street which was an inconvenience, and their televisions didn't have many channels. Great Stay. Only 2 things: 1. Wi-Fi had to keep buffing. I was there for an education for foreign language conference and it was hard to do any lesson plans if I was wanting to use items from the internet. 2. Your description of the hotel did not include an additional cost for parking. The hotel has to use a different company for parking. It is across […] the street which was not a big deal. I woke up Thursday morning to the sound of the man in the room next to me vomiting, had a constant ticking sound coming from the bathroom every night, room was not cleaned on a daily basis, the "blanket" on the bed was paper thin, and there was a random person passed out in the lobby on Sunday morning. Loved the hotel. Hated the parking. Why is there no mention on booking that parking is NOT available at a HOTEL?? Come on..that is incredible to even have to think of. Red Roof offers parking across the main drag there in a privately owned parking lot and you have to PAY!! $10.00 extra for the night? Two nights? $20.00 ...and so on. There is no one […] to help you get the car. This is not even valet parking. You have to actually go there and park and walk back across the dark street to the hotel. In downtown area. Hadn't stayed at a Red Roof Inn for quite some time. Found this one very clean, comfortable, spacious. Was disappointed with breakfast "buffet" which basically offered no healthy options (mostly pre-packaged muffins and danish.) But, other than that..a nice enough stay.

Overall, the stay was good. We had some issues with the AC, the staff came in and tried to make it work and brought us a fan. The AC did end up working in the middle of the night. Great! Upgraded to a king suite for the wait we had... No issues, problems what so ever. Very close to the Naionwide arena. Quiet at night. Friendly staff!Great stay!

I will never stay there again. We waited 25 minutes in line to check in at 5:00 only to be told rooms weren't clean and we would have to continue to wait. Another 15 minutes went by and finally one was available (at 5:30!!) - even though we should have been able to get our room mid-afternoon! When we got to the room, there was a hairball on the desk. […] If that wasn't gross enough, random hairs were all over the bed, in the bathroom. This is a very reasonably priced hotel. Great service and nice rooms. Only place in Columbus where every room comes with a refrigerator and microwave. They also have a continental breakfast and parking is only $10 per night. Beware! Their free WiFi SUCKS, very slow and intermittent at best. I will stay again. It was super nice and the staff were friendly. They kept the continental breakfast stocked, and cleaned up. The only thing I didn't like about the hotel was that you had to park across the street, but I expected it from the other reviews. It was close to everything my little family planned to do.

Overall the room was okay and the staff was nice. Great location to the columbus convention center . But At the end of the stay packing up we found things under the bed. Like water bottles and wrappings from the previous people that stayed in the room. So people check underneath the beds.

The sheet on one of the beds had a stain, which we were pretty sure the sheets were clean but, was little uneasy wondering if we had fresh sheets on the bed... since we noticed that the ice bucket had not been emptied so and the bag wass full of water, so we couldn't get ice and it was late and didn't feel like going to the desk for one. Also, we wanted […] to look up local restraunt, Max & Ermma menu to order food, since the front desk was out of brocheres for the restruant, we went to use the computer, and discovered we would have to use a credit card!!! So we didn't want to pay to use the computer, needless to say it was not an easy walk in the cold wind and icy sidewalks. Nice place. People were friendly and very helpful. Saturday night airport shuttle stopped at 6.p.m so had to take taxi. Breakfst o.k. but only bagels ans muffins. Cereal would be nice. If in the area I'll definely stay here again.

This is a nice hotel for the location. The room was nice and clean and the staff was very friendly. The "complimentary" breakfast was a little weak, just prepackaged muffins, bagels and juice. The parking situation is totally awful. It's across the street in part of a lot. You're supposed to swipe a card but the arm was already up so the card was pointless. […] Then on the way out there are two more swiping locations but they didn't seem to do anything. There is an attendant for the rest of the lot which belongs to someone else, they weren't much help. It also costs $10 to park for a night. We had a very nice stay while attending the state honors choir at the convention center. My so and the choir also stayed there the 2 previous nights and found their stay pleasing as well

The location of the hotel is perfect for visiting the Short North, Arena District or German Village. The renovations to the hotel were very nice. There was a line to check in, but it wasn't horrible. The staff was very friendly. The only drawback we found was the parking fee, which was for a lot across the street from the hotel. Check in was horrible. Long line. Other customers in front of us were complaining that the room they entered had someone already in it. Police were in the lobby waiting for a manager. We just stayed one night for an event at the convention center. Very close. Parking is across the street but not at all a big deal! hotel is very nice for a red roof inn.
