"Not a warm welcome"
What can we say? We just didn't feel welcome; felt like they couldn't wait for us to leave. Most of the staff were abrupt and dismissive. Room smelled weird, clock on kitchen wall didn't work, and there were only 2 bath towels and one bar of soap in the unit. Odd.

"Don't stay here!"
If you are looking for a cheap hotel near the drop-off/pick-up location for the Michigan Flyer shuttle, stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites and NOT the Extended Stay. Extended Stay was dirty and smelly; I felt like I was going to get bed bugs, and was horribly uncomfortable. "Clean and comfortable."
Needed a one night stay in Ann Arbor and booked this place online, the room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable, also the staff was friendly and helpful, only drawback for me was no ice machine, all in all I thought it was a very nice stay for the money.

"A dump with a bad attitude"
This place is a true dump. Uncomfortable beds, dirty carpet and a noisy wall heater. The building is hidden behind the Marroitt Courtyard with no road signage. It took me 30 minutes to find the place. Instead of two beds, I was given a room with one bed and a pullout couch. The front desk girl refused to have the couch converted to a bed and made up […] with sheets. She said they are not staffed to make sofa beds and the manager has a policy that the guest should make their own sofa beds. When I told her that was crappy customer service, she walked into the back room and told someone that she was tired of all the rude customers. When I told her that I did not appreciate her attitude, she said too bad and take it up with the manager. This place sets a new standard for a poorly maintained dump with awful customer service. "Very Satisfactory"
Everything was as expected for us with this stay. It is not a high end hotel, but it is a great value for the price. The room was clean, orderly, quiet and comfortable. There were only minor signs of wear-and-tear in the room and the facility in general. The hotel service went above and beyond in that we checked in slightly early and were granted a […] late check out (of about an hour or two beyond the normal). The only issue we had was that the room we were originally given was not yet cleaned. "Smoke smell on third floor."
We had asked for a non-smoking room and were placed on the third floor which had a very smokey smell. We requested to be changed and immediately got moved to the second floor. No problem there. Good location. Close to the mall and university.
"Don't show up late/Hope you liked the 70's"
Did not arrive at this hotel until about 1:00 am. There was no one at the desk. After making a bunch of noice to see if anyone was around there was a sign in the front of the hotel stating that if you arrive late they would place your room key and info in a locked safe right below the sign. Well suffice to say all of the lock boxes were open or had […] the words not active written on them. There was a phone that instructed to dial a number if you needed assistance. At this point there were 3 other couples waiting outside the front desk. A woman answered and she came out of a room 2 feet away from the desk. Did she not hear us all in the lobby? Anyway, we checked in and when we walked into our room we felt like it was 1975 all over again. The decor and furnature and appliances are all very old looking. Also this is the first type of extended stay style hotel I have ever stayed in that does not have toothpaste and/or shampoo/conditioner in the bathroom. Читати далі
