This is by far one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in. Our room was very clean & the beds were extremely comfortable! The location was so close the interstate & minutes from downtown Cincinnati. It was such a nice hotel that we stayed an extra day & the room rates were very reasonable. The hotel looks great, although I'm not thrilled about the neighborhood. (For example, my car was parked very very close to the hotel's main entrance & someone still moved my mirrors ... not broke, but pushed/shoved/moved etc.) I waited while the one apparent employee was on a phone call and several other people not in uniforms walked in & out of the […] "back office" area, until one came up & helped me. From what I could gather she used to work there, but I think they had a personal function there today .... all just a little odd. They put me in the loudest room in the entire hotel after I specified that I'd prefer something quiet (ie. the closest room to the elevator/lobby on the main floor) so I asked to be moved. After another 10 minutes at the front desk I got a new room that was great, except for the maintenance guys trying to open my door just after I'd showered. Apparently they were cleaning all air conditioners, and no one had told them I was there. Luckily I had all the locks on. Otherwise, lots of comfy pillows, no complaints about the room, and breakfast was decent (lot of cereal options too). I'd stay again. Читати далі

When we arrived we were informed there would be no water till 7pm because they were changing the hot water system. I have given them a low rating because they did not offer any compensation such as free high speed internet, free bottled water in the room or a discount. The water did not return until after some time after midnight when I went to bed. […] Lucky it was on when I needed to shower in the morning. Basic plumbing knowledge tells us that even if they had to shut off the water to change some valves the cold water should have been available after an hour. Then they could have continued to work on the hot water. At least then the toilets and sink would have worked. Other wise the hotel LOOKED nice and was located with good access to major highways. There was a group of children who just ran thru the halls all night long preventing us to get any sleep. When complain to management they talk to them but nothing was really done about. Another visiter went off on them that's when they stopped but by then it was about 530 am. Management should have done more.

I reserved a non-smoking room. Upon entry into our room, we immediately smelled smoke. I reported it to the front desk and in a matter of 15 minutes they had a new room for us. Extremely courteous and great customer service!!!!!! I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.

The check-in staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The neighborhood was safe, my room and hallway were very clean. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

The entire staff was very friendly at the hotel. The room was small, but was clean and in good condition. Our TV did not have a remote control, so I called the front desk and they had one to my room within 10 minutes. That was great service. If in town, I would stay again. It was a very good value for the money.

hotel location just off expressway-good. Beds are queen and comfortable. Had issue with sink not draining but they put us in a different room that worked better. Breakfast fair, all carbs; not even hardboiled eggs or yogurt. friendly service

Great stay.

I enjoyed our stay but we arrived at 1:00 in the morning due to closing of hwy 75. I had reserved a room with 2 queens but was given the choice of 1 room with a king and a couch (which as it turned out was not a pull out) or 2 rooms with king beds. The beds were very comfortable! King size pillow top. It looks like they have updated the lobby but the halls could use some new carpets. The hotel itself is has dark interior colours, it needs to brighten up the rooms. Breakfast was adequate, no yogurt. The usual fair with waffles, pastries etc. There was a coffee maker in the room but no coffee or […] tea. It was put under the sink so I guess nobody uses it. Great place! Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room, and decent breakfast. Very good price too!

Our experience was just "ok". Although we stayed for two nights, the housekeeper threw everything away in our refrig, pair of socks, and our toiletries after our first night. They placed a car tree freshener on our door. The air conditioner made our room either too cold or too hot even when we placed the dial in the middle. Clean, omfortable room in a convenient location. Easy off/on interstate which made it easy to get to everywhere we needed to go. Much more affordable than several other large chains in the area. Great value.

We were very pleased to see the calaber of this facility. It was new, extremely clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast adequate. We paid so little to stay there that it was difficult to believe. Having a refigerator in the room is a real bonus, but not as much as the recliner in the room. Arrived and served promptly & cheerfully by our desk clerk. Room was much better than we expected for the price. In-room safe was a plus, as was the wonderful mattress-a premium pillowtop! This is the third time that I have stayed here because it is a good hotel at a good price.

The LivInn wasn't anything fancy, but WHAT a great price! It was totally fine -- clean, large room, TV and microwave in the room, and very friendly staff. I'd stay there again!

Clean room, good location. I would stay again!

Overall very good and good value would have rated a 5 except the wifi was broken while I was there which as I dont have a domestic data plan in the US (Im from Canada) was a bit frustrating.

LivINN was a nice, basic hotel, for a cheap price. If you're looking for something fancy, don't stay here. But, if you're looking for a basic, affordable, non-sleazy hotel - this is a good option. The hotel recently switched to non-smoking. So as of Feb. 2012, there was still a lingering scent from previous smokers. Hotel appears to be rather new, lobby area is very nice. Rooms are adequate, acceptable for the price. The front desk was not helpful in providing information about the area. Neighborhood is run down, and police was observed to be constantly busy in the area.

Hotel was nice and room was nice and clean. Only complaint was the hotel is a non smoking hotel but when coming in the side entrance hallway smelled like cigarette smoke. I don't fault the hotel for this but it was unpleasent. Overall this hotel is very comparable to some of the larger brand name hotels but for less money. Would stay here again.

This was a great place to stay. It was close to the meeting site but was much less expensive than a room at the actual meeting site. Staff were very nice and helpful. I will definitely stay here again.

We didn't intend to stay the night in Cincinnati after my husband had LASIK surgery. We decided it would be much easier to stay and booked this hotel literally 5 minutes before leaving MidWest Eye Center. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was very pleased with the hotel overall. I was afraid it might be disastrous from reading some of the reviews but the desk staff was courteous and gracious (they didn't have the size room i reserved but gave me a bigger room for the same price) . Convenient location, clean, nice smelling, above average if not exceptional linens. Attentive and helpful staf.

This was a great stay! I recently stayed in this hotel and I was extremely pleased with the room, the staff, and the location. Definitely will stay again.

The LivINN Hotel is quiet and convenient. The staff was courteous during our visit. I look forward to staying at this hotel on my next visit.

We just needed a place to spend one night in Cincinnati and we were drawn in by the LivINN's low price and relatively high reviews. When we showed up we were informed that the elevator was broke, and we were asked if we had much luggage, they'd put us on the first floor if we did. We didn't, so we were given a room on the 2nd floor. Unfortunately that […] room was right next to a stairwell, which was being used a lot due to the elevator situation. We went back to the front desk and they gladly gave us another room, this time on the 3rd floor and away from stairwells. Breakfast was good, but tables were at a premium so we had to wait before we could sit down and eat. The only real complaint we had was that there was hardly ever anyone at the front desk, and no bell to ring for service, so we had to just stand around and wait until someone noticed we were the to get any service. Needed a place to spend 5 nights while a room in my house was being rehabbed. Found this place which was close to work as well as almost everything else. Walls and doors do not provide much sound dampening; I could hear every word spoke in the room next to me as well as everyone in the hallway. The air unit did not work (but the room remained a comfortable […] temperature at all times, so I was not that concerned). I had a non smoking room that smelled like a wet ashtray. The toilet would flush only after several attempts. But, for a weeks stay it was cheaper then most ….You get what you pay for. Читати далі

I would recommend this hotel to any one. We will definitely be staying there again when we visit family!
